PALS Park Upper (private)

Fully Fenced
2 acres

PALS park Upper, is a space we have curated for our three dogs, Penelope (20 lb., (F) Boston Terrier), Arthur, and Lewis (55-70 lb., (M) Cattle Dog mixes and biological brothers). Arthur and Lewis “do not play well with others” (they're herding dogs and tend to herd other dogs). Penelope is smaller and getting older, so she gets bullied at dog parks. We needed an open space with fencing, a relatively quiet area, yet far enough away from residential areas because our dogs bark a bit more than average and we don't want to be a bother to our neighbors. We realized this is the need for many dogs and dog parents (like us), and those dogs are not always afforded the ability to go to a dog park and be off leash, and be in a stress-free environment. That’s why we offer our space, a place we have made exclusively to let our dogs and YOURS be the very best version of themselves. Dogs deserve to be dogs, and that’s our aim at PALS Park. **At the park we do our very best to offer a 5 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ experience. We are always looking for ways to improve the park, for you and your dogs. With constructive, positive, and a 5 star review, we will be better equipped to meet your needs. Also, leaving ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ would be pretty darn PAWSOME! **If there is something about your visit that isn’t worthy of a 5 star review, please message me and I can make it right. *We also have a (M) grey and white cat named Stumpy. He is indoors 75% of the time and makes himself VERY scarce when new people/cars are around. *There is ample parking and the driveway will be cleared of snow in the winter months. If there is a massive snowfall we will do our best to make a path. *There is a horse shelter in the park (we are slowly turning into the guest space). That’s where you will find several pooper scoopers with a bucket for poops without poop bags, a poop bag station, and a few mobile poop bag holders. There is a trash can for bagged poo and trash. We have set out some people chairs and an elevated dog bed. There are always refreshed buckets of water around the park. Who can forget the toys? We have two deck boxes full of toys. A larger one near the house as well as a smaller one at the shelter. There is also a tennis ball hopper at the shelter. Toys can be put back in either box, and please try your best to return them before you leave. **PROPER POOP DISPOSAL PROCEDURE** #2 can be: -pitched over the fence (bagless) -put into the trash can (if bagged) Karmic Poop Pick Up - we have a ton of space to play, so the odds of missing a poo now and then are high, we totally get it. See a poop? Pick it up (with a provided poop bag) and all day long you'll have good luck! We have a 700 gallon stock tank pool (not open November - May) just for the dogs. This will be available for an extra charge of $5 per dog. We will provide some towels for pool use and for general wet weather, because we know a wet dog in a car is not fun. Please drape the used/wet towels over the large grey gate at entrance before you leave. For human safety, please try to stay off the patio/porch near the home as it’s slippery when wet. Those areas will marked with a yellow plastic chain or closed off with black gates. If the dogs make it up there it isn’t a big deal, just be careful retrieving them.

PALS Park Lower (private)

Fully Fenced
1 acre

PALS Park Lower, is a space we have curated strictly for dogs. This park is the little brother of PALS Park, now PALS Park Upper. This space is more rustic and a bit more simple than PALS Park Upper. There are 2, 5 gallon water jugs available with dog bowls. A deck box with an assortment of toys. A pooper scooper, along with a poop bag dispenser and trash can. There is a blue bag filled with agility equipment that may be used, but please put back when finished. People and Dog bug spray, natural and traditional varieties are available. This park is also named after our dogs. Penelope (20 lb., (F) Boston Terrier), Arthur, and Lewis (55-70 lb., (M) Cattle Dog mixes and biological brothers). Arthur and Lewis “do not play well with others” (they're herding dogs and tend to herd other dogs). Penelope is smaller and getting older, so she gets bullied at dog parks. Needless to say our number one goal is the safety and wellbeing of our kids, and now yours.

Be & Athena's Doggo Spot

Partially Fenced
2 acres

Hello! Welcome to Hekate Farm! (Here's an intro but for those not interested in reading our backstory please scroll to the bottom and read our small list of rules. Thanks!) We recently moved into a very lovely old farm property with a pretty extensive "yard" and thought this may be a great way to make doggo friends and share the wealth! We spent the last year living in a huge home downtown with not a strip of grass to call our own and my ol gal Athena (6 going on 60) suffered from the conditions all year being usually a farm dog who lays in the sun making you question if she is alive sometimes she's so content 🤣 when we went to dog parks I felt uncomfortable letting her off leash because there were such a large amount of dogs allowed at one time and she is unfixed so very popular 🙄😮‍💨 and also tends to be the one our four legged friends "with something to prove" (😅) like to challenge and feel threatened by unfortunately. She just came to relax and play so it wasn't our scene. Now that I'm in a position to host a site like that myself I look forward to being the place where 2 & 4 legged people can go to have a little privacy, maybe meet for a doggo date, (we have a 3-5 dog max ATM but may go up to 5-10 when I get more fencing) maybe even a picnic!, while enjoying a day, a few hours, or even just a lunch break or morning/afternoon/evening/late night stroll around some good old Midwestern farmland just outside the city with your dog(s). Enjoy peace and quiet to yourselves or Athena is happy to meet anyone and keep them company for a while too! She gets lonely and can't play with her little fur brother as rough as she'd like because he's a kitty and mommy doesn't like seeing him gets smushed by her when they play rough lol. A little about Athena: She is a HUGE lover and sweetest girl ever. I owned her parents and her grandfather and none of them ever in their lives showed a sign of unprovoked aggression toward any living thing, the kind of dogs that literally will boop noses with birds and chipmunks of they get the opportunity, I've seen it many times over the decade+ owning the bloodline #BlesedToBeTheirKeeper. She has never bred but we hope to allow her a single litter this spring if we find the right guy for her, were very picky. She's has had false pregnancies so I think she should be allowed to have her own babies once in life and my kids are ready for a Stark kids kind of deal at their ages finally 😅 We are hoping to use the money from this to save up for service dog training so she can do meet and greets with people (especially elderly as she LOVES the elderly) who may be in need of some Doggo snuggles 🐕‍🦺🥰 she is desperate for snuggles 🙄😅🤷🏻‍♀️ figured I'd make a professional out of her and give her days a little more purpose and fulfillment in all the ways I can 😁💓 Ok enough about my 4 legged Queen lol, for those of you looking for a little escape time with your pups I totally get it! Just let me know you'd like some privacy and for and additional $5 ($Beairyel or COA) I will halt booking while your visiting us and I'd be happy to oblige if you'd prefer Athena stays inside loving her furry little kitty brother to no end. Some of our fur babies need solo roam time! I get it! I do too every now and then. Hence moving back to the country lol. We hope to have you visit soon! Enjoy your day! (Some rules but not many: *No smoking cigarettes (I am very allergic as well as one of my children), no doing hard drugs or drinking in access before or during your visit here to the Hekate Farm. No exceptions. This is a natural place where you come to do natural stuff. Thanks. *No engagement in any violent or sexual behavior during your visit. This is a family home with children who live here and have windows and go outside at will. I protect mine on all levels at all costs. *Absolutely no littering of any kind and please do your best to pick up after your pet if they do their dooty anywhere you can easily access it. Don't have to trudge into the bramble after their done or anything but if you can safely reach it to dispose of it please do. *No approaching the house or anyone inhabiting it for ANY reason other then myself (Be) and Athena of she is with me. I can be reached at 608-709-9130 to address any needs you may have and if Ian not be reached unfortunately you are on your own or may call 911 if in need of assistance but not approach the home. Ever. *Please stay in designated areas doing designated activities. We do not provide a bathroom site for #2 for humans at this time under any circumstances and I think most people know where it's appropriate to do a tinkle in the outdoors if ur in an emergent situation (not in eyeline sight of the house or garage for starters lbvs) Breaking any of these rules will immediately end your visit, period. Doing so more then once is grounds for permanent ban from visiting at our discretion. We hope you understand and are willing to respect us and our home! 😁💓 I am not getting notifications from SniffSpot so please send a heads up text to 6087099130 before heading over for your adventure so we will not be caught off guard for visitors! Thank you!

Nature Lover's 5-Acre Wooded Retreat with Trails

Unfenced
5 acres

Enjoy five peaceful acres of open space, wooded trails, native gardens, and plenty of interesting places for your dog to sniff and explore. Walk the paths throughout the property, wander through the native garden, watch for butterflies, or relax on the shaded bench while your dog explores. The entire five-acre property is available for your visit. Guests may use the wooded trails, bench, water pump, portable dog pool, and dog bowl. The human swimming pool, house patio and deck, private garage, and right-side driveway are off limits. Our property is 100% chemical-free. We do not use pesticides, herbicides, or other sprays anywhere on the property. The spot is not fenced. Trees line three sides of the property, while the front is open. The wooded trails and natural areas may include uneven ground, fallen branches, burrs, ticks, mosquitoes, seasonal snow, and leaves covering parts of the trail. Poison ivy is possible in any wooded setting, although we have not seen it on the property. With lots of greenery, flowers, wooded backdrops, and open space, the property is also a great place to capture beautiful photos of your dog during your visit.

Frequently asked questions about Mineral Point dog parks

Why are private dog parks better than public ones in Mineral Point?

Private dog parks in Mineral Point eliminate the major risks of public facilities: unpredictable dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission, and chaotic environments that can overwhelm puppies, seniors, small dogs, or reactive pets. Sniffspot's 137 private Mineral Point locations offer complete privacy, professionally maintained spaces, and flexible scheduling. Whether you have a nervous puppy or a dog-selective adult, private bookings give you control and peace of mind.

How are Mineral Point Sniffspot locations different from public dog parks?

Mineral Point Sniffspots offer: (1) Complete privacy with no other dogs during your booking, (2) Controlled environments without aggressive dogs or chaos, (3) Flexible scheduling based on availability, not rigid park hours, (4) Safety for dogs of all temperaments and ages, (5) Vetted and reviewed locations—93% of visits get 5-star reviews. You get all the benefits of off-leash exercise in Mineral Point without public dog park risks.

Can reactive dogs safely use Mineral Point dog parks?

Yes, and this is exactly what Sniffspot was designed for! Mineral Point has 137 private locations where reactive dogs can exercise off-leash without encountering other animals. Since bookings are completely private with 30-minute buffers between visitors, your reactive dog won't face the triggers that make public dog parks impossible. Many Mineral Point owners of reactive dogs rely on Sniffspot as their only safe exercise option.

What amenities help anxious or reactive dogs in Mineral Point?

Look for Mineral Point locations with "fewer dogs seen/heard" to minimize triggers for reactive dogs. Secure fencing prevents escapes during stress. Quiet, spacious properties reduce anxiety. Some Mineral Point hosts specifically cater to nervous or reactive dogs with extra privacy features. Read reviews to find hosts who understand fearful or reactive dog needs.

How clean are Mineral Point dog parks?

Unlike public dog parks where cleanliness varies wildly, Sniffspot hosts in Mineral Point maintain their own spaces and take pride in providing clean environments. All guests must have vaccinated dogs (or titers) to prevent disease transmission. Many Mineral Point hosts provide poop bags and trash cans. Reviews highlight cleanliness, so you can choose well-maintained locations.

Can I visit Mineral Point dog parks with multiple dogs?

Yes! Most Mineral Point Sniffspots welcome multiple dogs from the same household. Some hosts set limits (like 2-3 dogs maximum), which will be noted on the listing. If you have several dogs—especially if some are reactive toward other dogs—Sniffspot's private bookings let them play together safely without outside interference.

Are Mineral Point dog parks good for senior dogs?

Yes! Mineral Point Sniffspot locations are excellent for senior dogs who need gentle exercise without the stress of public dog parks. Older dogs can explore at their own pace, rest when needed, and avoid being knocked over by rambunctious puppies or large dogs. Look for Mineral Point spots with flat terrain, shaded areas, and smaller sizes if your senior has limited mobility.

How do I find dog parks in Mineral Point for small dogs?

Filter Mineral Point's 137 locations by "small dog friendly" to find spaces specifically suited for toy breeds and small dogs. These tend to be more intimate, with secure fencing that prevents squeezing through gaps. Some Mineral Point hosts have separate small dog areas or cater specifically to petite pups who might get overwhelmed at large public dog parks.
