Private Dog Park by the Creek

Partially Fenced
1 acre

Private Dog Park on 1+ Acres Near Mt. Scott Creek IMPORTANT: Fresh tap water is not available in the dog field across the creek, and water bowls are not provided. If you prefer that your dog not drink from the creek, please bring your own drinking water and bowl. Just five minutes from Clackamas Town Center, our one-acre field offers plenty of open space, rolling hills, and access to peaceful Mt. Scott Creek. The creek flows year-round, although the water level drops during summer, and several areas allow dogs to wade and cool off on warm days. Please be aware that the creek is not fenced at either end, so this spot may not be suitable for dogs likely to follow the creek beyond the property. We do not use conventional chemical pesticides. The field is treated with organic diatomaceous earth in early spring and late fall to help control pests. The creekside can become muddy during winter, but most of the property—especially the upper fields—remains dry throughout the year. Please bring: • Drinking water for your dog • Your own water bowl • A towel during wet or muddy weather Because the property is large, dog waste can easily be missed. Please keep track of where your dog goes and pick up all waste after. Complimentary waste bags are provided, with one trash bin near the creek and another in the upper field. Sniffin’ Hours: Monday to Sunday Spring & Summer: 8 AM – 9:00 PM Autumn & Winter: 8 AM – 7 PM Thanks for Sniffin’ at our Spot! —Daniel & Family

Nature in the City Private Dog Park

Fully Fenced
1.5 acres

Welcome to Nature in the City! Your Private Dog Park Escape Looking for more than just a fenced-in field? Nature in the City is a one of a kind private dog park where you and your pup(s) can enjoy the freedom of nature without ever leaving the city. Spread across 1.5 acres of secure, fully fenced natural land, our park offers a true nature adventure for dogs of all sizes. Explore winding wooded trails, native vegetation, a field perfect for fetch with ropes, discs, or toys, and a serene wetland area where healthy little Chicken Creek flows gently through the center. With water that’s never more than a foot deep, pups can safely splash, sip, and cool off. Here, every visit is more than exercise, it’s a sensory adventure. With endless new scents, sights, and textures, your dog will love the chance to explore, sniff, and roam off-leash in a safe contained environment. It’s also the perfect setting to practice recall while letting your pup enjoy the freedom of open space. ✨ Why guests love us: • A true “nature park” experience, right in the city. • Fully fenced and secure, even for small dogs. • A mix of landscapes: open field, forest, creek, wetland, and trails. • Three charming bridges spanning the creek. • Private bookings mean no surprise dog encounters. •. Amenities for dogs AND their humans! If you and your dog crave more than a standard dog park, Nature in the City is the perfect escape for adventure, relaxation, and play! ⚠️ A quick note: Some trails have gentle slopes or steeper spots, so guests with limited mobility may prefer our flatter areas. ⚠️ And while our field is great for fetch with toys or discs, IT’S NOT DESIGNED FOR BALL THROWING due to the surrounding natural brush. ⚠️ Our spot’s conditions change naturally throughout the year depending on the season and weather. It gets muddy when it’s raining and dusty during the Summer months. ⚠️ Our trails and blackberry bushes are regularly maintained and cut back, although the property intentionally retains its natural vegetation and wooded character. Our creek is also a natural creek, so its water level and conditions can vary seasonally. Think of our spot like going on a secure mini hike in the Gorge! We’re always making improvements at Nature in the City, so you may notice new touches each time you visit! Amenities include: • Covered rain/sun shelter with 4 foldable chairs (extra chairs available on request) • Supplies for your convenience: dog toys, poop bags, hand sanitizer, natural bug spray, sunscreen, wipes, hand towels, first aid kit & even a cornhole game • Complimentary snacks & beverages for both pups AND their humans. • Outdoor seating: 2 zero-gravity recliners, a kid-sized picnic table, a round table with umbrella & 4 chairs, and a couple park benches placed throughout the park. • Fresh drinking water for your dogs • Mix of sunny open spaces and shady spots under mature trees Safety & Security: • Fully fenced with 5–6 ft fencing, carefully inspected and maintained • Private and secure environment for worry-free off-leash play Extra Features: • Night lighting: As of Sept. 2025, we’ve added additional flood lights that softly illuminate the entryway, main field, main trail, and supply shelter for about 4 hours after dark. Perfect for evening visits! ➡️ For deeper trail exploring after dark, we recommend collar lights for your pups and a headlamp or flashlight 🔦 for you. • Seasonal Note (March–September): Baby bunnies 🐰 may be nesting on the property. They’re usually well-hidden, but if your pup uncovers a nest, please cover it back up. If you see a baby wander out, gently place it back and redirect your dog. The bunnies have no scent, which helps protect them from predators, so dogs usually don’t notice them unless they spot movement. • 🌧️ Weather Reminder: Areas get muddy in rainy weather. We’ve added wood chips in many spots to help, but we recommend hiking boots 🥾 and dressing accordingly so you and your pup can fully enjoy your adventure. **🐶 Fosters and Shelter Dogs visit for free! - If you have a foster dog or are taking a shelter dog out for an adventure please let us know prior to booking! 🩵 ‼️ Please double-check your booking DATE and TIME before entering our spot to make sure you’re here during the correct day & time. We’ve had a few guests show up on the wrong day and enter the park when another guest was there (during their correct booking). This is IMPORTANT to avoid potential negative dog encounters. Thank you. We can’t wait to welcome you and your pups for a safe, fun, and relaxing nature escape! 🐾

Tail Waggers private dog park

Your attendance has allowed us to continue development of our Disney Land for dogs and being a contributor to the Portland Humane Society. Toward that end this is what we have to offer at present with more to come. Two main walking trails, with two offshoot trail loops at present. Signage is there at each to help you in and out of each. Each has a selection of walking sticks at the trailhead, should you choose to use them. Appropriate good grip footwear is recommended especially during our monsoon season. Trail one, the shorter of the two, is about 25 minutes give or take, and takes a degree of dexterity more than trail too. Trail two contains two loops trails that take 30 to 45 minutes there and back to the parking area. The trail has two rest areas to sit with umbrellas to keep the rain off when needed. Trail 2, loop two has large Vern plant areas like you may have seen in the Jurassic Park movies. There are (2) Two parking areas, one much larger for up to 25 cars to accommodate larger group events. The 2nd is at the top of the hill b4 you go down into valley were you will see a sign letting you know that if your early you can park there till your designated reservation time. At the bottom you will find a porta potty for your convenience with a lighted pathway after the sun has set. For your convenience you will find seven Poop Depots with bag dispensers throughout the park. A guest ( Mark) donated a fire hydrant as a much appreciated pee station for many pups. There are two water play areas. The preferable one is now down by our inlet water pipes. Its a shallow pool area feed by spring water, so there is no concern about algae. We call it the pup self wash area because it’s only belly deep and is an absolute favorite of the pups to play in. It’s also proved to help pups who might be afraid or timid of playing in water to investigate it a little more. The other is the larger man-made pond area. This at one time was a large beautiful pond, that we had invested a large amount of money to development a Doggie Dock Dive. We had also a selection of small watercraft to help acclimate pups to being on the water with a parent. It included a selection of different size lifejackets for parents and pups. Floatable toys for retrieval were nearby. All that however became unusable because our neighbor who controls the water level with a dam did not like us having a private dog park and said if we didn’t shut it down he would just empty the pond, which he ultimately did and mow as a result has become a mud flat. We have a solution that will bring the level back up and have set up a Go Fund Me to help us with that expense. Any donation would receive a gift certificate to show our appreciation. They can use it for their own use or it can be given to a non Sniff Spot member to use at our park for various functions. Our Muddy Paw Spa has multiple cleaning brushes, paw wash cups, a spray hose and the more favorite is a water spray wash glove that sprays water out of the palm of the glove. This is an important option especially during our monsoon season to clean pups and shoes before getting into the car. Included, are multiple towels to dry off your pup, and a close line to hang the wet towels on to dry off. In the area where you see all the picnic tables, you will see a Doggie Dig Box filled with beach sand for those pups who have the need to just dig. Near to that is an upright 50 Pd “Tug of War” that big pups love. Next is a childrens play area to play in and on. We installed a tetherball for the children, but soon learned that the pups love playing with it, who would have guessed? Down from the children’s play area is a comprehensive agility course with all the obstacles that you would see on the YouTube obstacle course events. Love seeing the pups racing around that. Multiple toy stations. If on your visit, you would like to donate unused toys for other pups to enjoy that would certainly be appreciated. A long mowed area above the pond for long distance ball and frisbee retrieval. They’re also a few frisbee catchers there to practice frisbee throwing accuracy. Long, medium range and putter frisbees are provided. A 10 x 10 doggy dig sandbox for those pups to enjoy digging. A tug-of-war for those pups will enjoy a good tug. The picnic area has been expanded to accommodate pup, birthday parties, pup, groups, and family gatherings. For those bringing young children, a swingset. Solar lighting around trees, parking area and the porta potty will help to illuminate these areas when darkness falls. There are water dispensers with water bowls. There is another area being developed presently that will become an urban agility course.

Fully Fenced
0.5 acres

AS YOU KNOW, WE TRY HARD TO KEEP THE PARKS UPDATED AND COMFORTABLE FOR EVERYONE, TWO AND FOUR FOOTED. THANKS FOR YOUR LOYALTY AND SUPPORT! WE APPRECIATE IT! OPEN SUNUP TO 10P NIGHTLY! VERY IMPORTANT!!! EACH PARK (F1 AND F2) HAS A SEPARATE ENTRANCE AND DRIVEWAY WITH THE SAME ADDRESS. SO, YOU MUST READ THE SPECIFIC DRIVING DIRECTIONS INTO EACH PARK. PLEASE TELL YOUR FRIENDS TOO IF THEY'RE MEETING YOU HERE. THANK YOU!!! upon entering into either park, you won't be able to see people or dogs in F2 while you are in F1. Proud to be Sniffspots most popular park(s) with the most reviews. Read about us in the February 27, 2024 issue of Newsweek magazine, June 5, 2023 issue of Womens World Magazine, and the Business Insider's June 9, 2022 articles. You and your pups will love our very artistic boho farm! Mud free paved entrance and patio, extra picnic table, chairs and tables, swing, toys, night lighting til 10pm, light up collars/leashes upon request, disc golf basket, clean porta potty access, doggie poop bags hanging all around the field w/disposal cans! There's alot more to the 7 1/2 acre farm that makes it very unique. it's sort of like a rural "Portlandia". We've hosted dozens of weddings, parties, concerts, and reunions here in the past. So, just ask if you'd also be interested in using the farm for your own special event! We've had tons of doggie play date and birthday parties here. Just inquire first letting me know how many cars there'd be. If too many cars for F1, then F2 will work out during dry months, as you can drive your cars right into the field. Hope to see you and your pups playing out here soon! We try very hard to remain the #1 spot between both parks, globally. Thank you for helping us achieve that by continuing to support us!! Combined we are now almost 6K reviews!

Green Acres Homestead 1 Acre Sniffspot

Fully Fenced
1 acre

Welcome to Green Acres Homestead! Discover acres of adventure on our fully fenced pasture, complete with a seasonal creek and a peaceful pond — perfect for dogs to run, splash, and explore. Nestled on a charming farm beside Green Acres K9 Resort (a dog boarding and daycare facility), our play space offers a secure and refreshing retreat for your pups, whether they're visiting for playtime or boarding nearby. Getting here: Please watch for our Sniffspot signs and follow them carefully (you should never have to leave the gravel driveway and for that matter, please don’t) to the designated play area. You're encouraged to park all the way at the end of the driveway, in front of the fence. Visitor limit: We cap each visit at 4 dogs and 2 adults unless arranged with us ahead of time. This space is meant for you and your own dogs to enjoy — not for dog gatherings, parties, or commercial dog handlers bringing client dogs. Reality check: Most visitors already know what to expect and love bringing their dogs here — but for anyone less familiar with farm life, we want to be upfront about the environment you'll experience. It's very likely you may: Hear a dog barking from the boarding facility See a farmer working Share a fence line with livestock (yes, you can say hello!) Find mud in the wet season, and no creek in the dry season See algae in the pond when the water isn't flowing, and weeds in the field Notice some weeds or pokey plants — we mow to keep the main field clear of blackberries and weeds, but can't guarantee a weed-free space Be in true nature — the creek and pond are spring-fed, but there's always a chance of picking something up outdoors Watch your dog dig and carry sticks and rocks — just be aware there may be holes, sticks, or rocks around Use the dock at your own risk — it holds my family with no problem, but makes no promises for anyone else; you're welcome to use it with your own judgment Encounter a pond with gradual sloping sides over half its edge, but steeper drop-offs in some sections Post a photo of your dog's vaccination records to the chat before your first visit — this only needs to be done once (until they expire). Keeping our space healthy is critical to us; illnesses like Parvo can be extremely dangerous to dogs and can linger in the soil for as long as several years which is a very long time once introduced. We never want to discourage anyone from enjoying this place the way we do — we just want your expectations to match reality. We look forward to seeing you here soon!

Please reserve your time a minimum of an hour ahead of time. We are a working farm and can't always be checking the app. We have logging roads and fields open to dog owners. Enjoy our scenic 120-acre farm with your puppies. Please feel free to leave a review. The landscape is unmanicured and slightly wild with quail, rabbits, and deer frequenting the area daily. A new forest has been planted, and the baby trees we ask to be left at peace to grow. We might be out working somewhere else on the farm and hope to see the blackberries slowly diminish, making this place more hospitable every year.

55We came this time with 2 dogs. Both had a great time exploring -- our adventurous husky and the more reserved 'velcro' dog. The fencing is secure even for our smarty pants husky & there are plenty of supplies & toys. Also several seating areas for humans, at the entrance and 2 benches along the small creek. We will be back.

55If you are looking to test off leash freedom in an environment that mimics a trail then look no further. This is a STUNNING property!! My dog Stevie and I are working on off leash check in’s in hopes of off leash hiking and this was the perfect spot to test that out. Not many distractions besides birds and squirrels, plenty of little trails to take and see if your dog will follow, even has a little creek! Will definitely be returning for more practice! ***I will note that there are a lot of blackberry bushes so if your dog is curious like mine be sure to teach them not to nose their way into bushes so no injuries happen to paw pads or eyes.

55Loved watching our two dogs race around, lead exploring the trails and splash through the water. Just enough to get them super excited. Tiny 5lb chihuahua and a bull terrier mix and felt both were safe to run loose, no small gaps, tall enough - we'll fenced. We wandered the trails and was surprised to see blackberries! Snacks, cold beverages and ice cold water for the dogs. Shade was perfect with benches and chairs to watch them race thru the water. Our dog loves water but is a bolter, and terrible recall so it was a treat to see him enjoy the tiny creek, be off leash. We had forgotten how much he loved water. It isn't super deep, so our Chihuahua could have gotten in if he was brave enough. Maybe next time! Thanks it was a treat for all of us!

55A special place for pups to run around. Lots of prickly Himalayan blackberry bushes that prevent veering off designated trails so watch arms and sleeves when walking past. Other than that, snacks for people and pups were appreciated, and the dogs loved running all over the property. The trails provided exercise and stimulation for humans as well. Thank you for the adventure!

55We brought our small girl, Willa. We adopted her and she came with anxieties about new places, cars, wind, birds…you name it. This Sniffspot is such a great spot to build her confidence in safety. There are a lot of nooks and crannies to explore, a small stream, bridges, and a trail. Willa conquered so many new things today, even the little stream she leapt across! It was also a good opportunity for training off leash hiking. She did great. Another review mentioned a busy street and there is one, you can hear it from the spot, but you can’t see it and the Sniffspot is completely fenced. Even small dogs couldn’t get through it. The first thing we did was a perimeter check. The hosts were very considerate of both dog and human visitors. There was plenty of seating, snacks, drinks, and a first aid kit. We’ll definitely be back.

55Best Sniffspot we’ve been to! A very cool maze of trails to wander for pups and peeps. All kinds of amenities: clean towels, poo bags, fresh water, soda/water for parents, treats for pups and parents! Even cornhole and those comfy reclining chairs. Benches along the trails. It was awesome! Well-kept, cleaned. My pups loved to chase each other on the trail and wade in the creek. This is a unique and wonderful spot! Would love to go back!

All 3 of my dogs LOVE this place. 💓 Parking was confusing to me at first but you can just pull right into the double gates, close them behind you, and safely take your dog through the little gate to the right of your car to run around freely.

Frequently asked questions about Montavilla dog water parks

What amenities do Montavilla dog water parks typically include?

Montavilla dog water parks feature amenities designed for swimming and water play: swimming pools, splash pads, and waterfront water access, secure fencing options, water stations, waste disposal, and often extras like toys, shade structures, or parking. Unlike public parks with generic setups, Montavilla hosts customize their spaces. Browse 51 listings to compare—from bare essentials to luxury amenities perfect for your dog's needs.

How much does it cost to use Montavilla dog water parks?

Sniffspot runs on a membership model with monthly and annual plans that include credits toward Montavilla dog park bookings. Members get discounted rates at participating Montavilla spots, and new users can start with a 7-day free trial. There are no surprise booking fee. Your credits cover the reservation. Browse Montavilla dog water parks listings to see individual spot pricing, and check your membership dashboard to see how many credits you have available.

How clean are private dog water parks in Montavilla compared to public parks?

Significantly cleaner. Public dog parks in Montavilla see dozens of dogs daily with sporadic city maintenance. Private dog water parks have dedicated hosts who maintain their own spaces—cleanliness directly affects their reviews and bookings. Many Montavilla hosts provide fresh poop bags, sanitized water stations, and regular grounds cleaning. With only one booking at a time, waste accumulation is minimal.

Can I book Montavilla dog water parks on short notice?

Usually yes! Many Montavilla dog water parks offer same-day or next-day availability with instant booking. Unlike public parks that might be crowded unpredictably, Montavilla private dog water parks let you reserve exactly when needed: early morning before work, midday breaks, evening exercise. Real-time availability shows on each listing—perfect for last-minute training or when routines get disrupted.

What's the best time to visit dog water parks in Montavilla?

Any time works since bookings are private! Unlike public dog parks in Montavilla that are crowded during peak hours (mornings, evenings, weekends), you don't worry about timing. Book when it fits YOUR schedule—midday when it's quiet, dawn for cool weather, late evening for convenience. Many Montavilla dog water parks have lighting for after-dark visits. This flexibility is perfect for shift workers or dogs with special needs.

Do Montavilla dog water parks allow multiple dogs?

Yes! Most Montavilla dog water parks welcome multiple dogs from the same household. Some hosts set limits (check listings), but generally you can bring your whole pack. This is perfect for multi-dog households in Montavilla where some dogs are selective—they can play together privately without outside interference. Great for sibling bonding or families with mixed ages/temperaments.

Can I use Montavilla dog water parks for special events?

Many Montavilla dog water parks welcome doggy birthday parties, training workshops, breed meetups, or group playdates. Private bookings mean your event won't be interrupted. Coordinate with Montavilla hosts about capacity, amenities (parking, shade, water), and any restrictions. Some even provide party extras. Check individual Montavilla dog water park listings for event policies.

How do Montavilla dog water parks accommodate dogs with special needs?

Montavilla dog water parks are excellent for special needs dogs because you can filter for specific requirements: flat terrain for mobility issues, secure fencing for blind/deaf dogs, quiet locations for anxious dogs, small spaces for seniors, or maximum privacy for reactive dogs. Read reviews from other Montavilla special-needs dog owners, and contact hosts with questions. The private setting means you can adapt the experience to your dog's unique requirements.
