55This is a great all-season spot. There are two pasture spaces, big open fields and pine woods. After a good rain, there may be a few muddy areas that a pup could romp and roll in. I enjoyed the bird songs and the smells of fresh pine. I was pleasantly surprised by a grey heron. There are chickens on property, their run and coop area are secure. We briefly saw a cat and they have many high, safe places to lounge. The very front of the pasture is close to the road. The road has light travel and there is a secure fence and a line of trees to provide a buffer. I loved that this sniff spot is completely fenced in - I saw no areas of opportunity for a pup to escape, unless they jumped over a 4 foot fence. Lauren D.

FAQ about our Moseley dog hiking trails
Are dog hiking trails safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than a city or county park. With a Sniffspot off-leash area all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. Our hiking trails tend to be outside the city, which lends to more privacy, but it is also important to follow typical hiking safety precautions, such as potentially having trail maps.
