IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD We have a half acre yard fully fenced with 7' plank fencing for both privacy and safety. Within this half acre, we also have a smaller 30x30' fenced area, which can be used to introduce two dogs safely before letting them have full run of the yard. This smaller fenced are is also useful if you are training dogs outside (which is how I myself use it, as I train dogs for a living!) There is some DIY agility equipment within the smaller fenced area - please do NOT let your dog urinate on the equipment! We have doggy bags located throughout the yard.

For the more adventurous pups, an array of obstacles and agility equipment beckon, offering opportunities for thrilling challenges and boundless energy release. But the fun doesn't stop there! We've also provided an assortment of dog toys scattered throughout the park, ensuring that there's never a dull moment for your furry friend. Perfect play place for energetic small to medium sized dogs. Sit under a shady cherry tree, or an umbrella at our patio table and enjoy a soft drink or snack from our snack bar while pup enjoys a homemade healthy snack and/or plays in the fenced yard with water play, and provided toys. Come, take a walk through my yard, into the woods and down a slope to get to Cazenovia Creek. While down by the creek, you will most likely not encounter another human being. The piece of creek is bordered by Northrup, Transit and the bridge on Southwestern Boulevard. Feel free to explore through the woods in solitude, it is a 10 minute walk down to the creek. I have an unfenced yard, so please have your furry friend on a leash if they are not leash trained. Once you get into the woods, you are more than welcome to go off leash. This is definitely a walk for boots or hikers. If it has been raining, the trail down will be muddy. The walk to the slope is wooded with many obstacles but definitely walkable ducking here and there under a branch.

***Charges are in USD*** We at BHS understand that letting your dog run and play is so important! But some dogs aren't suitable for dog parks or social areas. Our private, fully fenced half acre yard is the perfect place to let your (reactive or otherwise) dog just be a dog and get some freedom! Please check in at the front desk to get the key to the yard, and clean up after yourself. There are water bowls in the yard, but please bring your own water. There are trees providing shady areas throughout the day. If bringing back the key when we are not open, please put it in the Mailbox, located beside our Front Doors. When we are open, our receptionists will gladly take the key back from you! All the fees go directly to the animals in our case, and we are a registered charity and no-kill shelter. Welcome to Crawford farm! We have plenty of space for running around, playing frisbee, fetch, swimming.. whatever your fur baby is after. We are a small farm, which means we have chickens, ducks and goats. We keep our animals in their coops when fur friends are visiting. ***please note; we require notice at least one day in advance if the animals are to be kept in their coops. Otherwise we let them free range*** The creek has an easy entry location. It’s shallow water at that spot. Deeper water in other areas. Our property is sprayed using a food grade insect deterrent. Plus our chickens free range when there are no dogs around. This means very minimal tick sightings. We have children, so expect some toys around. If you’re bringing children, they’re welcome to play on the play structure. (Pending parental approval and supervision). Plenty of muskoka chairs to relax in while your fur baby plays. The road isn’t right beside the area where fur friends run, however it is accessible from the yard. If you have a dog that’s a flight risk or likes to chase cars, this isn’t the right spot for you. We have lots of dog friends that visit unleashed and listen well to their owners with no issues. Any questions, please ask!

Explore a unique piece of history while enjoying the tranquility of large, private, well-appointed land, located next to an original stonework trestle constructed in the 1850s for the Erie Railroad. Your dogs will love wander along the abandoned railroad bed, trekking through the shale-bottomed stream, or relaxing while overlooking the water. While mostly shallow, the stream deepens at points for short swims. Your dog will love the rocks and sticks and playing in the water. The site is approximately 3 acres with a quarter mile marked trail. There are three large tables with plenty of stools, this spot is a great place to have a picnic while your dog plays. The wifi works well here too, well enough to live-stream.
