Sally's 30 Acre Partially Fenced Private Dog Park In Mount Airy

Partially Fenced
30 acres

The perimeter of my property is fenced so you know you’re still on my property. However, it is triple strand so dogs could go through it. We do have chickens and ducks that free roam. We also have other animals that will be contained in the barnyard behind the barn. Drive straight down driveway towards RV. There will be a gate straightahead and another gate to the left. Park anywhere there and use either gate. The gate to the left leads to that big field and the creek runs the length of it. The other gate leads to the back and crosses over the creek. Walk up there just a bit and you will see a path to the left. It goes up to another open field.

Slys Peace Trail

Partially Fenced
10 acres

Located in the foothills, the Slys Peace trail was created for dog stimulation. The trail starts at the lower end of the pasture and follows the creek meandering through a rhododendron forest. Situated at the base of 100 acres of wooded ridge land, the hike offers a wilderness experience customized to your comfort zone. There are multiple trails to accommodate your level of exercise. The full experience will require crossing the creek multiple times and is recommended for those with hiking experience. Trails are easy to follow with multiple exits that lead out to the pasture. This is dog heaven. Let your dog be a dog. To locate the gate entrance watch for the Giant metal horse. His nose points the way. Follow the fenceline a few hundred feet where you will find the gate just before the power line easement. There is now a large Sniff Spot sign securely attached.

Muddy creek 2 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Clemmons

Partially Fenced
10 acres

Freshly fenced with open grass for running and playing. Also have some wooded area with taller grass and growth for exploring. Lots of shade trees also. Outside the fence is an additional 8+ acres to explore. If you wish to go down to the creek then only enter on far right side behind the fence. The path to the water is challenging as it is woodsy and steep. There is a knotted rope to help you get up a short bank from the water’s edge

The Canine Traveler

Fully Fenced
8 acres

This Sniffspot is a fully fenced property (our home is inside the fence) with hills, bumpy terrain, sticks galore, piles of limbs, well dug holes by our lovely golden and pyrenees, and tons of open space. Please watch your step. When entering, you can park in the carport, gravel driveway, or even in the grass. You can use the grass to turn around in as well. You will close the gate right at the road during your entire stay. You can leave the gate open as you leave for our next visitor. We will not be visible during your visit and you will be the only occupants at your scheduled time. We are located outside the city limits and it is not uncommon to hear people target shooting or hunting. Just keep this in mind because that is out of our control. Trash & Amenities: The trash can and other amenities are inside the carport and at the picnic table in the back near the bamboo forest. Dog Library: We have a new dog library in the back near the bamboo that we will stock with toys, sticks, bags, and goodies. Seating: We have a table and four chairs in the bamboo/shaded area in the very back if you would like to have a picnic off the ground. In addition, we have a bench inside the carport. There are two fold up chairs in the carport if you would like to use them anywhere on the property. Fence: The fence is 3 to 4 feet on three sides and five feet on the road side. The front fence is wood slats/split rail with wire. There are some sections that have a fence behind a fence (even some you cannot see that are the neighbors). On other sides we have wire and chain link. Our Great Pyrenees and Golden Retriever have never escaped or tried to jump it and that is a win for a Pyrenees! Wildlife: You may see turtles, snakes, rabbits, deer, ground hogs and squirrels. Grounds: The property around the home has never been graded so it is hilly and lumpy so be careful where you step. You can see holes dug in the yard from dogs. It is fine if they dig. We also had pipes going to a garden years ago so if you see them, don't worry! They are half buried and half exposed. Water: You have access to our well and water bowls. We also have a kiddie pool if you would like to use it. Wifi: We have wifi and outdoor outlets in the carport. Discount Code For First Time Guest: Sunshine Personal Note: My husband has stage 4 colon cancer and there are going to be times we have dates and times blocked off to ensure he can leave for appointments. We do this in advance but then we can clear those dates if he is doing well. Send us a message to inquire if you do not see a date, we could have forgotten to open it up.

Frequently asked questions about North Wilkesboro dog hiking trails

What types of dog hiking trails are available in North Wilkesboro?

North Wilkesboro has 13 dog hiking trails with diverse features: woods, hiking trail and scenic views. Whether you need a fully-fenced space for poor recall, a quiet location for a reactive dog, appropriate sizing for small breeds, gentle terrain for seniors, or specific amenities like water features or agility equipment, you'll find options in North Wilkesboro. Filter by fencing, size, distractions, and amenities to match your needs.

When can I book dog hiking trails in North Wilkesboro?

North Wilkesboro dog hiking trails are available based on host scheduling—many operate dawn to dusk or even 24/7. Unlike public dog parks with rigid hours, you choose the exact time that works for you. Check individual North Wilkesboro listings for specific availability. Flexible scheduling is especially helpful for dogs with specific needs: reactive dogs who do better during quieter times, working dog owners needing early/late slots, or seniors needing cooler morning hours.

How do I book a dog hiking trail in North Wilkesboro?

Browse 13 available dog hiking trails in North Wilkesboro, select your preferred date and time, and reserve through Sniffspot. Most North Wilkesboro locations offer instant booking. You'll receive confirmation, exact address, and entry instructions. The booking process takes just minutes—perfect when your dog needs exercise, whether that's a reactive dog requiring safe space, a puppy needing socialization, or an energetic dog burning off steam.

What's the most popular dog hiking trail in North Wilkesboro?

Bushel Barks Private Dog Park is highly rated among North Wilkesboro dog hiking trails, known for excellent amenities and positive reviews. However, the "best" spot depends on your dog's needs—reactive dogs might prioritize privacy and quiet, puppies might need secure fencing, seniors might want flat terrain, while active dogs might want maximum running space. Browse North Wilkesboro listings to find your ideal match.

Can I use North Wilkesboro dog hiking trails for training sessions?

Yes! North Wilkesboro dog hiking trails are perfect for training because they're private and distraction-free. Work on recall, practice trail recall in natural environments, leash manners on varied terrain, or hiking endurance building, help reactive dogs build confidence, socialize puppies, or work on obedience—all without public dog park unpredictability. Many North Wilkesboro professional trainers use these spaces for client sessions with all types of dogs.

Do North Wilkesboro dog hiking trails accommodate multiple dogs?

Most North Wilkesboro dog hiking trails welcome multiple dogs from the same household. Some hosts set limits (check listings for specifics). If you have several dogs—especially if some are reactive toward strange dogs or if you have mixed ages (puppies and seniors)—private dog hiking trails let them play together safely without outside interference or triggers.

What amenities do North Wilkesboro dog hiking trails offer?

North Wilkesboro dog hiking trails feature amenities like woods, hiking trail and scenic views. Many hosts provide extras: poop bags, water stations, toys, shaded seating, parking, even dog wash stations. Each North Wilkesboro listing clearly shows what's available. Look for amenities matching your dog's needs: shade for heat-sensitive breeds, water for swimmers, agility for active dogs, or privacy features for anxious pets.

Are North Wilkesboro dog hiking trails available year-round?

Many North Wilkesboro hosts maintain their dog hiking trails throughout all seasons. Filter for covered or climate-controlled options if weather matters. Indoor dog hiking trails provide year-round access regardless of North Wilkesboro weather conditions. Check individual listings for seasonal availability and policies.
