This area has wooded trails as well as cleared areas. Densely wooded areas and thickets all around. TICK PREVENTION IS A MUST! There are no pesticides or herbicides used here. Only natural horticulture vingear for spot weed control. This area is located beside Bear Creek and when the creek is high or after a good rain IT WILL BE MUDDY on the right side of the property! Dry creekbed located across the back of the property. **The Creek is NOT accessible from the fenced property** -Water hose on site for use. Dog shower/bath area to the right of the shed with dog wash hose attached, shampoo, and wash shammy. Or you may bring your own bath supplies! Feel free to give your dog a shower/bath! ***Just added dog pool*** For use at no extra charge! Fill up/use if you'd like! (It's been stored for the fall/winter...but if you would like to use it...please let me know at time of booking) -Dog water bowl, dog brush, toys, treats, human and dog tick spray provided. All located in large deck box inside the gate. -Bring doggy towels in case of mud or bathing! -Porch swing and seating areas with a shed deck, gas grill, picnic table and hammock at the top of the property. -Chair/table area at the bottom of rock trail. Silent H Acres is almost an acre fenced spot for your dog to go sniffing, running, fetching, and discovering. There are toys to play with (frisbees, tug rope, tennis balls, etc) and sticks to fetch. The grass ranges from 2” mowed, to 4” natural, up to about 12+ inches. A smattering of trees and two sitting areas for you - the gray Adirondack chairs are a bit too heavy to move, but feel free to move the red ones anywhere you would like. ***We will be adding a couple of agility exercise areas for your dog in the next few days. Toward the front of the field, I have mowed a curvy type of track in case you want to work on guided leash training. We also have other animals that will be contained in the barnyard behind the barn. Drive straight down driveway towards RV. There will be a gate straightahead and another gate to the left. Park anywhere there and use either gate. The gate to the left leads to that big field and the creek runs the length of it. The other gate leads to the back and crosses over the creek. Walk up there just a bit and you will see a path to the left. It goes up to another open field.

Our May Calendar will be open April 30th. This Sniffspot is a fully fenced property (our home is inside the fence) with hills, bumpy terrain, sticks galore, piles of limbs, well dug holes by our lovely golden and pyrenees, and tons of open space. Please watch your step. When entering, you can park in the carport, gravel driveway, or even in the grass. You can use the grass to turn around in as well. You will close the gate right at the road during your entire stay. You can leave the gate open as you leave for our next visitor. We will not be visible during your visit and you will be the only occupants at your scheduled time. Trash & Amenities: The trash can and other amenities are inside the carport and at the picnic table in the back near the bamboo forest. Dog Library: We have a new dog library near the bamboo that we will stock with toys, sticks, bags, and goodies. Seating: We have a table and four chairs in the bamboo/shaded area in the very back if you would like to have a picnic off the ground. In addition, we have a bench inside the carport. There are two fold up chairs in the carport if you would like to use them anywhere on the property. Fence: The fence is 3 to 4 feet on three sides and five feet on the road side. The front fence is wood slats/split rail with wire. There are some sections that have a fence behind a fence (even some you cannot see that are the neighbors). On other sides we have wire and chain link. Our Great Pyrenees and Golden Retriever have never escaped or tried to jump it and that is a win for a Pyrenees! Wildlife: You may see turtles, snakes, rabbits, deer, ground hogs and squirrels. Grounds: The property around the home has never been graded so it is hilly and lumpy so be careful where you step. You can see holes dug in the yard from dogs. It is fine if they dig. We also had pipes going to a garden years ago so if you see them, don't worry! They are half buried and half exposed. Water: You have access to our well and water bowls. We also have a kiddie pool if you would like to use it. Wifi: We have wifi and outdoor outlets in the carport. Discount Code For First Time Guest: Sunshine Personal Note: My husband has stage 4 colon cancer and there are going to be times we have dates and times blocked off to ensure he can leave for appointments. We do this in advance but then we can clear those dates if he is doing well. Send us a message to inquire if you do not see a date, we could have forgotten to open it up.
