55Nice big lot! Plenty of room for my dogs to explore. They loved sniffing around stick piles and thoroughly inspected every inch of the fence. There was a hose and bowls for fixing the dogs water. I really liked that i could park inside the fenced in area. It was a great training opportunity for car manners! Already saved this place as a favorite and looking forward to coming back. Brigid L.

55Hello!! We booked 10minutes before the slot time and they were so accommodating. I had an hour and we left after just 30min because my dog was POOPED OUT! Loved the tug-o-war rope tied to trees. I thought i read there was a mini pool on the description but I didn't see it so that was disappointing! But again, could've confused listing with another one. We will definitely be back. It's also shaded heaps so it's perfect Julia S.

55Very quiet, fully fenced spot that is perfect "decompression/enrichment walk" alternative for dogs with a prey/hunt drive that requires a secured area. Perfect space to practice rewarding dog check-ins with their people and recall. Grass was high in spaces, but no ticks or fleas were found on the dogs. There was a dilapidated outbuilding that had a hole in the door. Thankfully, my Terriers were so excited to run that they didn't investigate.Rachel M.

55This was an excellent spot for out reactive pup to have plenty of decompressing sniff time without lots of triggers. Plenty of shade and space to explore and a really good fence line. Also a lovely touch having the water hose and water bowls out for the pup as well!Chelsea D.

55Very nice, large but manageable area with many trees for shade. Both our 60 lb and 12 lb dogs had a blast running around and exploring. It has a covered sitting area as well! We happened to meet Anna who was very nice and welcoming! David L.

55Wow! Paws and Smiles is Sams new favorite spot! Huge tree covered manicured (not a golf course!) lot with tons to sniff, even more to explore and a very secure perimeter fence. The host Anna is incredibly common rive and made the experience a breeze. Brian C.

FAQ about our Odessa dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 94% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Odessa area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 87 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 11 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
