Want to see your dog really get up to speed? Want to let them chase a squirrel without having to worry about traffic? Swim and wade in a creek? Come see us at Poplar Creek Flower Farm! We have 40 acres we want to share with you. 10 acres are pastures/grass which we keep mowed about every 3 weeks and the rest are woods! We have about 2 1/2 miles of trails to walk, bike or run. We are just minutes away from Pilot Mountain State Park and Highway 52, a perfect spot to stop if you're passing through. Out buildings are off limits to everyone. If it is windy, please be extra mindful in the woods- trees and branches do fall! We try to keep up with any big downed trees and try to keep trails clear. If you notice something that you feel needs our attention, please leave me a message and we will do our best! Please note that the map to the property is in the black box. The pond is not on our property, but the creeks are! It's summer and the bugs and snakes are out. Please ensure you and your dog protect against ticks/bugs. We have seen a snake a few times at the bottom of the swimming hole. I suggest standing at the top before going down the stairs, to see if one is there. But as much as I'm there, I've only seen it once, and a guest let me know she saw it too. Do not attempt to move the snake. Please just move along :) We hope you come and enjoy some off leash time with your 4 legged best friend(s) as you explore the pastures, wooded trails and creek!

**Yard entrance has 7 steps. My backyard loves to have pups running around. Feel free to sit by the fire pit and enjoy a snack/water, while your pup explores the yard. Fully fenced in backyard with 6 foot high privacy fencing.

Captain's Retreat at Bear Creek located off Highway 64 in Mocksville! 4 acres of fully fenced (woven mesh wire and post/rail 5.5ft to 6ft high) with trails, woods, field, and plenty of room to run and explore! Open the front gate and drive into the secure parking area ***CLOSE AND LATCH THE GATE BEHIND YOU BEFORE GETTING YOUR DOGS OUT OF THE CAR!*** Walk through gate into the space from the secure parking area. This area has wooded trails as well as cleared areas. Densely wooded areas and thickets all around. TICK PREVENTION IS A MUST! There are no pesticides or herbicides used here. Only natural horticulture vingear for spot weed control. This area is located beside Bear Creek and when the creek is high or after a good rain IT WILL BE MUDDY on the right side of the property! Dry creekbed located across the back of the property. **The Creek is NOT accessible from the fenced property** -Water hose on site for use. Dog shower/bath area to the right of the shed with dog wash hose attached, shampoo, and wash shammy. Or you may bring your own bath supplies! Feel free to give you dog a shower/bath! -Dog water bowl, dog brush, toys, treats, human and dog tick spray provided. All located in large deck box inside the gate. -Bring doggy towels in case of mud or bathing! -Porch swing and seating areas with picnic table and hammock at the top of the property. -Chair/table area at the bottom of rock trail. At the end of the cleared field is a 2 single seat swing set and hammocks by the bridge. We hope you enjoy the space!!

Designed for optimal privacy and safety for dogs and parents. Yard is accessed by the driveway gate. My dogs will be inside. Lots of room to run and play. Water faucet & disposable bowls in carport (hose also if needed). Wonderful walking neighborhood as well with trail at end of driveway to pond at SECCA. We have a reactive dog, so we understand how important, and how challenging it can be to provide a stress-free, enriching environment for a sensitive dog! We have a fully fenced half acre with an adjacent 500 sq. ft. enclosed dog run, and we’re happy to share it along with toys, water bowls, and more to enrich your dog’s experience! We will be adding more amenities as we are able.
