Thanks for checking out our space. The backyard is fully fenced with plenty of room for your dog(s) to run around. The entire space is covered with multi-sport flooring tiles and is perfect for running or just hanging out. We only allow dogs with basic vaccinations and the space is cleaned in between each visit, in addition to a weekly, thorough power washing. I do like to meet each guest for their first visit, but this is not necessary, so long as there is clear communication prior. There is a bag dispenser and trash can available. I provide fresh water and organic apples and other snacks for each visit, but please bring your own food/water/snacks and toys if needed. There are lights surrounding the entire backyard if you plan to visit at night time. I hope you enjoy your time, and am always open to feedback and improvement ideas. - 15 acres - 3 fields with tall grasses to explore (these are mowed by a tractor intermittently throughout the season - feel free to message for updates - multiple cleared acres - trail - pool (additional cost) - fishing * - swimming for dogs in pond * **Pond will be under going routine treatment/maintenance from our management company this coming week (7/13)*** Property & fields will still be accessible, but swimming & fishing will not be available during this time. Please message for more up to date details. We are a newer spot & have been happy to offer our property for dogs & owners to enjoy and explore. We have plans to continue improving our property to make it even more enjoyable and appealing. This includes treatment and management of our pond (this will help with any overgrown of invasive species such as so many cattails and keep any algae and weeds at bay during the summer months to insure a clear swimming, boating & fishing environment), we will be clearing out more overgrown foliage near the front dam & adding a bridge to create an additional access point to field#2 on the opposite side of the pond (currently the main way to access this field is by walking around the back side of the pond), we will also be adding a small cabin (we will offer this to be rented out in the future and will not have Sniffspot on those days) & we will add benches to the opposite side of the pond for all to enjoy. Welcome pups & humans! Our fully-fenced dog run is a flat 60x30 feet area with low grass, dog toys, treats, water bowls, and treated with organic pest control for ticks and mosquitoes. Fencing is high for bigs, and goes completely down to the ground for littles! What we make thru Sniffspot goes to the care of animals we rescue! About 1/3 is shaded, Wi-Fi, covered porch and a dedicated shed aka “pup parlor” with sofa and chair to chill out in inclement weather. If added, we can set up the kiddie pool for your visit. Bug spray, sunscreen, hand sanitizer, and water for the humans. Pup playground is located on a 4-acre property (you can also have access to) called Graceland Meadows Animal Rescue & Sanctuary (www.gracelandmeadows.org) where we save pets and farm animals from cruel lives and needless deaths. The spot is named for our recently departed Rocco, our love and inspiration! Sniffspot fee goes to the care of the rescued animals. Currently we’re home to two rescued horses, six chickens, and four companion birds, located in their own separate enclosed areas. We have two rescued dogs permanently sanctuaried here for a year+ and possibly another one or two at times that we’re fostering. My dogs will be inside when you visit — unless you’d like your dog to have a playmate … in which case, happy to discuss and try out a playdate.
