Lakeside Meadows in Putnam Station

Unfenced
249 acres

Let your dog run wild and play on our hay meadows in Putnam Station NY. Spot is woman owned and operated, features seclusion and great visibility for a safe, rural experience (please see the map included in the listing). Wide open meadows are beautiful and convenient to NY 22 on a quiet country road. Easy, paved access from the Eastern shores Lake George NY, near Fort Ticonderoga, and the Western Shore of Lake Champlain. Dog owner DOES NOT need to clean up pet waste at our spot ;D Your pet's poo is a beneficial deterrent against crop damage and helps keep deer from hiding their fawns in the meadow. You should have leash, voice, or buzz collar control (we have collars available) to protect from escape into the wilderness or out onto the road. Please contact us a day in advance if you would like to borrow buzz collar system or GPS (so we can make sure everything is fully charged). Our town is VERY strict on DCO enforcement - no loose dogs on the road or neighboring properties EVER please, they would probably send you a ticket in the mail! :P If you anticipate having trouble with keeping your dog close upon entering/leaving the meadows please bring your car well within the steel gate to park before letting pooches out onto the meadows - there is a magnificent view toward the end of the access road and space to turn around in dry weather. Water features are available through streams and small ponds at various locations in the woods, also along the lake there are some ponds, for those who want a longer adventure. Pets may dig anywhere along the wooded edge of the meadows, please no digging in the grassland.

Three Oaks Farm 100 Acre Field Walk In Fort Edward

Unfenced
100 acres

Come explore the hay fields of Three Oaks Farm! We are a family owned beef producer on 124 acres in Fort Edward, NY and would like to share our fields with you and your dog(s)! Enjoy private, mowed paths while the hay is growing, or a completely open field that’s great for frisbee when it’s cut! This setting is perfect for a leisurely walk/run, photo opportunities in the grass/wildflowers or with the three large oak trees as a backdrop! We often share our fields with all sorts of wildlife including Bald Eagles, Osprey, geese, pheasants, deer, owls, hawks, song birds of all varieties and the occasional partridge! If your dog likes to swim after a walk, there is a swimming spot near the Dead Creek bridge! Parking is on our 1st field road right after the Dead Creek bridge, and is directly off County Route 46. The parking area is marked in the photos. **We ask that you please park near the road and do not drive down the field road when it’s wet. Please stay on the field road and do not drive in the hay fields. Thank you! **The east portion of the field does have a paddock of hot electric fence- it is easy to see the wire and posts. We do have beef cows/calves that are sometimes near the fence line- they are friendly and used to dogs; however, we strongly discourage attempting to pet them, feed them, or allowing dogs to get too close to them or the fence.

Frequently asked questions about Putnam Station dog parks

What types of dog parks are available in Putnam Station?

Putnam Station offers 97 diverse Sniffspot options including small dog parks, fully fenced dog parks, and dog fields. Whether you need a fully-fenced yard for a dog with poor recall, a climate-controlled indoor space, a swimming pool for hot days, or an expansive field for running, you'll find it in Putnam Station. Filter by fencing, size, amenities, and "fewer dogs seen/heard" to find your ideal match.

Are Putnam Station dog parks safe for all dog types?

Yes! Putnam Station Sniffspot locations are designed to accommodate every dog: energetic puppies, cautious seniors, tiny toy breeds, giant breeds, social dogs, and yes—reactive or selective dogs too. The completely private bookings mean each dog gets the exact environment they need. Whether your dog thrives with stimulation or needs calm and quiet, Putnam Station has 97 options to match their personality and needs.

How do I book a dog park in Putnam Station?

Browse 97 available Putnam Station dog parks, select your preferred date and time, and reserve instantly through the Sniffspot platform. Most Putnam Station locations offer instant booking, while some hosts prefer to approve requests. You'll receive confirmation, exact address details, and check-in instructions after booking.

When can I visit Putnam Station dog parks?

Sniffspot's private booking system lets you reserve Putnam Station dog parks based on host availability, and many operate dawn to dusk or even 24/7. Unlike public dog parks with rigid hours, you choose the exact time that works for your schedule. Check individual Putnam Station listings for specific availability and any seasonal considerations.

Do I need a membership for Putnam Station dog parks?

Sniffspot operates on a membership model with monthly or annual plans that include credits for bookings. Members get discounts at participating spots. New users can start with a 7-day free trial. Don't worry, there are no additional booking fees! Your credits cover everything.

What's the most popular dog park in Putnam Station?

Three Oaks Farm 100 Acre Field Walk In Fort Edward is highly rated in Putnam Station, known for excellent amenities and consistently positive reviews. However, the "best" park depends on your dog's needs. A reactive dog might prioritize privacy and secure fencing, while an active dog might prefer acres of running space. Browse Putnam Station listings to find your perfect fit.

Can I use Putnam Station dog parks for training?

Absolutely! Putnam Station dog parks are excellent for training because they're private and distraction-free. Work on recall, practice agility, socialize puppies, or help reactive dogs build confidence, all without the unpredictability of public dog parks. Many Putnam Station professional trainers use Sniffspot for client sessions.

Are Putnam Station dog parks fenced?

Many Putnam Station Sniffspots are fully fenced, but not all. Use the "fully fenced" filter to find secure enclosures if your dog doesn't have reliable recall. Listings show fencing details including height, gaps, and type so you can confirm it'll contain your escape artist. For reactive dogs who need visual barriers, look for solid fencing options.
