Her property has two large fields where dogs can run freely and tons of new smells to keep pups interested. There are spots in the fence where smaller dogs can get through to neighboring properties, so if a dog does not have good recall it may be an issue. My two GPs had a blast chasing barn cats, smelling new things, playing with Starr’s shepherd, and seeing horses for the first time. They left exhausted and happy. This was my first sniff spot experience and it was a great one! The host was very accommodating. They had dog toys, poo bags, fresh clean water, a kiddie pool, towels, and even treats! Their large acre of land was plenty for my 3 dogs to run wild like never before. And we visited right after a few days of rain so there was a nice puddle in the middle that my dogs had a blast running through. I was so glad they provided towels because I totally forgot to bring mine 🤣 I will definitely be back. My dogs had a blast and I really enjoyed getting to see them run free.

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks.
