This back yard is fully fenced with driveway guest parking. There is a mix of both sun and shade, and a hose for water. The grass is treated for bugs in the spring and kept short through the summer. This spot is best for solo dogs, small packs, puppies, nervous dogs, city/suburban dogs who need a reset, and owners who want a calmer off-leash option. Book the space for fetch, training practice, decompression time, puppy confidence-building, or a quiet sniff session. The yard is private during your booking. Please leash dogs when entering and exiting, clean up after your visit, and leave the space as you found it. Water, seating, trash access, and basic dog-friendly setup are available where noted in the listing. Large, peaceful and private fenced-in backyard. A perfect spot for running and playing fetch. The chicken house in the photos is decorative only - instead of chickens you’ll find a couple chairs to kick back and watch the dogs run around. There is also a multi-level deck available for your use. If your dog likes to play fetch it makes for a great spot to through a ball. The deck also has seating areas and a spigot for fresh water. The entire back yard is fenced in and assessable directly from the driveway. It’s a serene backyard, but an adjacent neighbor does have 2 dogs that are outside occasionally. They are friendly but they do bark to say hello to dogs in the yard. I’m new to Sniffspot, so I welcome suggestions to make your time in our doggy playground more enjoyable. Thanks!

Here at Cedar Dale Pet Resort we have been caring for your four-legged family members since 1981 and now we are offering you a whole new experience- the opportunity to enjoy our recently remodeled Private Puppy Playground! Fun is sure to ensue in a fully fenced natural grass play yard filled with numerous obstacles and various play equipment for the ultimate enriching experience! Zoom through tires, climb on spools, and run down slides. Lay in the grass under the shade of a tree or dig in the sand. Seating for the human family, waste scoop & receptacle are provided. Complimentary wade-pool and towels will be made available upon request. Currently hours of availability for our Private Puppy Playground are generally when our guests are napping or inside the resort eating so no need to be worried about other dogs interfering with your pup’s outing. During the summer months when the weather is nice and our guest volume is high, we may have dogs outside in the other yards midday, but we will not utilize the yard next to the Private Puppy Playground during Sniffspot reservations. Located on 16 acres in Bull Valley, Illinois, our property is doggy heaven for dogs that are trained to be off-leash. Take a walk, bring a frisbee or ball, or simply let your dog sniff and explore. Please note that our property is not fenced. It connects to a beautiful piece of state-owned land, but that land is not included in your rental. Your booking covers only our 16-acre property. If you choose to go beyond our property lines, please understand that we are not responsible for the state-owned land, as it is not part of our Sniffspot. We also have many farm animals on the property, so we ask that all guests be respectful of our land and animals. We take great pride in our farm and love sharing it, and we want to keep it beautiful for everyone. Entry into any barns or buildings is prohibited. Please remain in the back of the property, as we do live on-site and appreciate our privacy. This is a working farm, so you may occasionally see cars or people near the barns and lot as you arrive. If your dog is reactive, please keep them on a leash until you reach the back field. Also, please remember that this is a farm, not a park. The ground may be uneven in places, and there may be holes or other natural hazards caused by animals or farm activity.
