A pathway will be made as hay grows taller. - this is a working farm with animals that need tending to. You will see us out depending on the time feeding/ watering animals. Especially in extreme weather. - we are a pig rescue farm, you will see them out and about. We have 2 overly social pigs who may come say hi to you. Then go about their way. Everyone else likes to hide. We have a beautiful 80 acre farm with loads of space for furry friends and their owners to enjoy! Trails, a pond, creek, seating areas for relaxing , swings if children come along. There is truly something for everyone! *please fill in any holes your dog may dig. If your dog is a digger please visit our over grown arena which is at the very top of our driveway and has a bridge . They can dig to their hearts content in that location! We have options of fenced in spaces for our friends that prefer to be closed in, a space for climbing and digging , and open spaces to run or trails to walk! Currently back trails are not officially marked but path is clear with tire tracks. Please be mindful of trees or branches from above and below. Possible risk of tripping and falling in the paths. A small private horse farm that directly backs up to a state park. Fields, woods, and creek on property. Dogs must stay out of the horse pasture (some horses may chase them). I have a friendly foxhound on site, although she stays in the house unless I'm walking her. She does love other dogs to play with however!

Willow Tree Yard

**Potential noise/distraction warning for sensitive dogs: There is a new house being built on a lot near our spot, and sounds from the construction work might disturb some dogs (or people). The timing of the workers is unpredictable and out of our control, but they are finished by 6pm most days, and they haven’t been working most Sundays. If you make a reservation, I will give you a heads up if they are working that day, so that you can decide whether to reschedule.** Description: Let your dog run free in our backyard that has a wooden privacy fence. They can play or lounge under our large weeping willow tree, and we have many other amenities for dogs and people (see pictures and amenities list for details). Seating/shelter: The lower deck has 3 lawn chairs and a canopy for protection from sun/rain. The upper deck (accessible via stairs in the backyard) has 2 rocking chairs and a picnic table with 4 chairs. Use of the shed in the backyard is not an option (it will be locked). Parking: There is easy free street parking in our cul-de-sac, and the entrance gate to our yard is marked with a sign. Operating hours: We are open all day on most Saturdays/Sundays (plus some Fridays and holidays), and on weekday evenings. For after-dark visits, our yard has lighting, and we can also provide a flashlight for you and a clip-on light for your dog (2 available). Note 1: There is a public sidewalk that runs along the outside of the fence on one side of our yard. So, people occasionally walk by (and sometimes have their dog walking with them). The fence is a bit higher than 5 feet on that side, so people can be seen/heard briefly, and a passing dog could be heard/smelled by your dog if they are near the fence at the time. Most people have said this was not a significant issue for their dogs, but I'm stating it here for the awareness of people with more reactive dogs. Note 2: When walking between your vehicle and the gate to our backyard, there may sometimes be other people or dogs on the street/sidewalk or in their front yards. Or there may sometimes be someone from our household leaving or arriving home (which involves walking between the front door and a car in our driveway). So please keep your dog on leash until you are inside the backyard with the gate closed (per standard SniffSpot rules).

Welcome to Max’s Place 😊 We recently lost our big baby, Max, and his mother, Diamond, two years before that. When house hunting, I made sure to buy a house with a nice size yard for our dogs. Now that they are no longer here, we’d like to invite others to enjoy the freedom to run around. Max’s Place is completely fenced. We offer the use of a small agility set, a lounging area for both dogs and their humans, toys and balls. We will provide bottled water for all. There is a hose hookup in the back for use (splashing, bathing, drinking) for an additional charge. Once the weather warms up we’ll also have a splash pool available at an additional charge.
