Rent safe and private fenced dog parks hosted by locals in Saugerties, New York

This is a newly fenced in grass yard with plenty of space for your pup to play and run around. As dog owners ourselves, we built a secure fenced in area for her to run around. We’d love to share that space with you and your pups. You will have full access to .74 acres of grassy land. Bring a blanket and watch them run or get in on the fun and throw a frisbee around. Either way, we hope your dogs love our space. Our space is great for reactive dogs to run carefree. We are approximately 1.5 miles off the Thruway which makes a great spot for traveling dogs to stretch their legs. There will be a SniffSpot sign marking the entrance to the space. Simply pull up on the latch on top of the gate. The gate will swing outward. Feel free to pull all the way down the driveway if you prefer.

We have more than 2 acres of fully-fenced in property that features a large lawn as well as ample "wooded" areas for your dog to run in and explore. There are also a handful of large boulders for your pup to jump on and off of.

The agility yard is a great way to give your pet physical and mental enrichment while strengthening the bond between you. Safety is paramount, so you’ll find our Agility Yard enclosed by a four-foot fence. However, if your dog happens to be an enthusiastic jumper, we recommend visiting the Athens Bunker Hill Dog Park, offering an open and adequately fenced space to accommodate their energy. While enjoying the Agility Yard, please note that there’s a road nearby. For your pet’s safety and the safety of others, keep your pet leashed when entering and exiting the yard. The road sees regular foot traffic, with people walking, dog-walking, and cycling. Passersby may pause to admire your training efforts. Respect for the environment is crucial—remember to CLEAN UP after your pet. Doggie bags are conveniently available on the fence, and you can dispose of waste in our designated garbage receptacle. If your pet happens to dig, please fill in any holes they create. To ensure everyone’s safety, please refrain from using any of the equipment; it’s exclusively for animals. We also emphasize the importance of gentle training methods—excessive force will not be tolerated. Most pets are eager learners, so patience is key. Please park on the right side of gravel driveway, located on Grove Court. Walk across front yard or follow path at the top of the driveway. The fenced in area is in the front yard just passed the brown house. There are table and chairs for our guests to be comfortable.

This is truly a private dog park! This fenced area is not connected to my house, nor is it visible from our house windows (only one bathroom window facing that way). It’s also not visible from the road or neighbors. For safety, there are double gates at the entrance. The area is mostly grassy except for a turf covered area that is prone to mud. Basic items are available like a dish for water, towels, a lawn chair, poop bags, a paw cleaner, long lines and a shovel to throw poo in the woods. Also, there are 2 trees for shade, a hose available, a sprinkler and 2 kiddie pools for your use. This area is used for my dog walking business a few hours per week but is available otherwise.

We have 128 acres of woods pasture and active farm land available for you to explore with your dog ! If your interested in a off leash experience without worry we have a 2 acre spot for your four legged love to enjoy without the fear of a failed recall. We just ask you stay out of the cows pasture, barn , chicken coops and do not open any gates despite what the cows might tell you ;) Our beautiful working farm is a natural environment shared by abundant wildlife deer, herons, and wild turkeys who roam the property and potentially could access the fenced area. When our Sniffspot guests are not visiting the fenced area is home to our flock of sheep. They happily do the “mowing” for us so you may notice some spots where the field isn’t perfectly “mowed” or gifts they have left behind! With this please be mindful not to leave anything behind that may attract in wildlife or potentially harm our sheep! We thank you and look forward to your visit !

My yard is .75 acres and fenced in for free roaming range. If you live in a small area with no or small yard or simply hate taking the dog for a walk. Feel free to stop by my place for the perfect opportunity for your dog.

Right off 9W but quiet and set back enough from the highway. Little over 1/4 acre to run, swim, (kiddie pool) nice and shady in the afternoon with sunny spots for dogs to sunbathe in. Hose access for fresh water.

We are located next door to Chadwick Lake Park in Newburgh, we have 1/2 acre fenced in back yard with short grass, part of the yard has small wooded area, semi private location.

Fully fenced backyard, pool, sand beach, Gardens, Short grass, dog toys, hose and water available, Enough room to throw a ball, dogs allowed in the pool under your supervision and at your own risk. Pool is not available to people, just the pups. Pool toys, sand toys, stuffed toys, we have it. We get a lot of request from people who have dogs they don’t get along with other dogs. We can accommodate that. But also, we get requests from people who want their dogs to have another dog to play with. We can accommodate that. I have a group of dogs and foster pups that are well adjusted and ready to play.

Welcome to A+J’s private dog park! When you book a visit, you and your dog(s) are the only ones in the space. Playdates are welcome. Our Sniffspot is our fully fenced, backyard attached to the house, with a private entrance from the driveway. All breeds are welcome. Reactive dogs are welcome. This centrally located spot in the Capital Region will be a comfortable, safe and fun space for you and your dog(s) to play. Located in a quiet neighborhood in Guilderland (near the borders of Albany and North Bethlehem) with ample driveway space. Easy access to the backyard - you can use the private black metal side gate (pictured) to enter the backyard. You’ll find ample space for running and playing. There’s even a dedicated smaller fenced in dog area within the larger fenced in backyard (if you’d like to use that dog-friendly space as well). For the humans, there is a large covered porch, with ample seating and outlets for charging your phone. For dogs, there is a water bowl with readily accessible hose for water, toys and treats available for use while in the backyard. We have two small pups (Daschunds) of our own (Murphy and Bucky) who love their backyard but they will be inside during your visit so your pups will have the space all to themselves. Our spot is located right across the road from the beautiful Chadwick Lake in Newburgh. We have 1/4 acre fenced in backyard with regularly trimmed grass. About half of the yard is flat and the other half is on a hill. It backs up to a wooded area. There is a deck and a patio with furniture and umbrellas. We provide a few dog toys that are sanitized between visits. We no longer provide water as a safety precaution during the respiratory virus outbreak. Hope to have you for a visit soon! Large 6' chain link fenced in yard behind a house. Off street parking and picnic tables either on deck attached to yard or under 2 large maple trees directly outside of the fence. The larger the dog the better, though we love all dogs.

I have a beautiful fenced in yard. It's a dog's paradise with lots of shade. I have a vinyl fence which dogs can see through the pickets on two sides facing front yard and side street, I rescued a dog from Homeward Bound 12 years ago and they had to come to my house to see the yard and inspect me home. Needless to say, I called him Onyx.
