55We had a great time running around and playing catch. Wonderful property and such nice amenities like water and a fire pit! Although it was too wet to light a fire, I hope we can do it next time! Will be back❤️Ann C.

55Dog and his Humans had a great time on this beautiful property. Lots of mowed grass for fetching and running, Woods Creek for splashing, and a forested area that pleased the dog no end. Can't wait to come back.Barbara L.

55Great Sniffspot and beautiful meadow.. it was muddy in parts as some of the reviews had mentioned but didn't deter us or the pooches from having a good time. The lyrics along the path are a great touch. We finally ended up on the trail where we didn't see lyrics; didn't know if we were in someone else's property so we turned around but could have kept going. Janani T.

55Beautiful property! It has all the best dog amenities: water, wide-open spaces, trees, bushes, and mud! We have two tuckered girls tonight. Just one caution: watch your dogs near the neighbor's barbed wire fence. Our older girl went in the creek near the bridge and climbed out just on the other side of the barbed wire fence, and she got a little tangled in it coming back through. Next time we'll make sure she doesn't go down to the creek on that side. Margaret T.

55Had an amazing time with my pup Daisy and her dog friend I am babysitting. The sniffspot sign on the outside of the property made it really easy to find. Also parking was clearly marked.
Upon entry the owner had a sign welcoming me and my dog and her friend to the property which was an amazing thoughtful touch.
The owner is incredibly nice and personable and you can clearly tell she absolutely loves animals.
The property was amazing and quite. Nice path into the woods. You will find a private stream and many different paths into the property where you can find nice benches to sit and rest while letting your dog sniff and play. Highly recommend and will be back! Exelane L.

55Took my very active GSP to the MINI Forest today. She loved it and spent an hour and 45 min running around exploring. There were some muddy spots, she didn’t care! Wearing hiking boots was a good suggestions. There is a well appointed out house and benches and tables if you want to have lunch. It was a beautiful spot, I’m sure I will go back. Grace was very welcoming, a very good hostess.Helen B.

55A lovely sniffspot! Lots of different areas to sniff and explore. Also, we really appreciated all the clearly marked parking/walking areas as well as the sweet welcome sign for me and my dog!
One thing to note is the fencing is not 100% fenced (a few gaps here and there) and it has gaps within it, so if you have an escape artist or need a super secure fence, this may not be the best option.
I have a dog with high prey drive and was worried about the goats/horse but they are very secure in a separate space and you're dog will be on-leash as you walk by them. Once we got into the sniffspot my dog didn't pay any attention to the smell of the dogs.
My dog is terrified of gunshots/fireworks and we did hear some gun shots while we were there, but it was VERY faint and sounded more like distant construction. Did not startle my dog, so if you have a similar issue you should be fine.Tess F.

55Amazing sniff spot with maintained trail/road to hike. Our pups were in heaven sniffing and running along the trail. They also enjoyed the meadow at the entrance which was perfect for some long distance fetch.
The only cautions for visiting are: dress appropriately for the season, in particular there were a few slippery spots and muddy puddles (November visit). We were happy to wear proper, waterproof footwear.Kristina C.

55Wow- this spot is immaculate! It is large, private, securely fenced, beautiful, and well groomed. The trails are perfect for running and playing with your pup, and the exciting features of the lot are enough to keep you and your pup entertained for hours. I felt extremely secure with my semi reactive dog. Grace went above and beyond as a host, with a very adorable welcome and easy to follow instructions. My tired pup and I could not recommend this spot enough! Steph C.

55Wow! This place is amazing. A friend recommended it to us a few days ago. We almost cancelled because it was raining a little but decided to just go anyways. The owner is so sweet and greeted us upon getting there. She led us to the gate and pointed out the way to go. This property is a dream. We didn’t let our dog off leash but did bring a long line and let him go explore. If your dog had good recall they would be totally fine running off leash. There is one big hill at the beginning but totally manageable. We put the long line on our dog and let him just run ahead a little so he wouldn’t pull us down. We will definitely be going back! Thank you so much for opening up your place to us! It was so good for our dog and us to get out and not have to worry about other dogs. Lisa R.

55Well thought out space.
Plenty of parking, nice little spot for humans to sit, even have a fire and make s’mores. Water and toys available, as were other essentials you might have forgotten.

55We’ve been a to few SniffSpots and this is by far the best one! It’s huge with so much room for you dog(s) to explore! We hiked all around and absolutely love it! The dogs drank out of the creek. They definitely didn’t want to leave. We are definitely coming back to this place as many times as we can. Marcela M.

55The mini forest is an outstanding SniffSpot. Fully fenced with a creek and plenty of room to run around for dogs and their humans. This was our second visit and we will be back for more.

Frequently asked questions about Squamish dog water parks
What do private dog water parks in Squamish offer that public parks don't?
Private dog water parks in Squamish offer complete privacy (no other dogs), specialized environments for swimming and water play, professionally maintained cleanliness, flexible 24/7 scheduling, and safe spaces for all temperaments—puppies, seniors, small dogs, reactive dogs, or any pup needing accommodations. Public dog parks in Squamish can't guarantee any of this. With 5 options, you get predictable, controlled environments perfect for your dog's specific needs.
Can I find fully fenced private dog parks in Squamish?
Yes! Most of Squamish's 5 private dog parks are fully fenced. Use the "fully fenced" filter to find secure enclosures with detailed specs: height (4ft, 6ft, 8ft+), material (wood, chain-link, vinyl), and gap information. This is crucial for escape artists, puppies learning boundaries, reactive dogs needing contained space, or small dogs who might squeeze through. Squamish listings include fencing photos so you can verify security.
When can puppies start visiting dog water parks in Squamish?
Puppies can visit Squamish dog water parks as early as 8-10 weeks with initial vaccinations, much earlier than the 16+ weeks needed for public park safety. This early, controlled socialization prevents fear and reactivity issues later. Plus, puppies can explore swimming and water play without being overwhelmed or learning bad behaviors from poorly socialized adult dogs. Many Squamish trainers specifically use dog water parks for puppy development.
How do I find private dog water parks near me in Squamish?
Browse Squamish's 5 dog water parks on Sniffspot by entering your neighborhood or zip code. Filter by distance, then narrow by features: fully fenced, "fewer dogs seen/heard," specific amenities, terrain type, or size. Each Squamish listing shows photos, reviews, exact location, and instant availability. Local favorite Freedom Farm is particularly popular among Squamish dog owners.
Can I rent dog water parks in Squamish by the hour?
Yes! All 5 dog water parks in Squamish are available for hourly rental. Most bookings are 1-2 hours, though you can reserve longer for training or events. Book instantly through Sniffspot, arrive during your time slot, and have complete privacy. Many Squamish dog owners rent weekly for consistent, safe exercise.
What's the difference between Sniffspot dog water parks and public dog parks in Squamish?
The biggest difference is privacy and control. Public dog parks in Squamish mean sharing space with unknown dogs and owners. That means you can't control who shows up or how they behave. Sniffspot's 5 Squamish dog water parks give you private bookings where only your dogs are present. You choose the time, the space, and the environment. Plus, your pup enjoys swimming and water play and maintained cleanliness that public parks can't guarantee.
Are there indoor dog water parks in Squamish?
Yes! Squamish has climate-controlled indoor dog water parks perfect for extreme weather, rainy days, or year-round exercise. Indoor Squamish locations typically feature protective flooring, controlled temperatures, and enclosed environments. They're especially popular for puppy training, senior dogs, reactive dogs, or anyone wanting consistent access regardless of Squamish weather. Filter by "indoor" to see options.
How do Squamish dog water parks help with dog training?
Squamish trainers love dog water parks because privacy eliminates distractions. Work on recall, practice water confidence building, dock diving practice, or swimming-based fitness training, reinforce obedience, socialize puppies, or address reactivity without interruptions. For reactive dogs, train without trigger-stacking. For puppies, practice skills in controlled increments. For any dog, get focused training time in an environment specifically designed for swimming and water play.
