My name is Sunny, and I'm a full time dog handler and behaviorist/ behavior coach. I love serving and spending quality time with dogs. I offer dog walking/ hiking, home visits, daycare and boarding. I connect with most dogs fairly quickly and would love to help your dog get their daily dosage of physical and mental exercises. This will help remove some of their accumulated energy and keep them in a calm state of mind. I'm available throughout the day for outdoor activities and home visits. For high energy dogs, I offer longer pack walks, nature walks/ hikes, playing fetch or frisbee, and a few more physical and mental exercises. When I'm looking after your beloved pooch for daycare or boarding, you can be rest assured that they'll be treated like my own, and their safety is my first and foremost priority. At home, I strive to maintain a comfortable environment, round the clock fresh water and timely meals (supplied by pet parents), sufficient exercise plus nature walks plus pee and poop 💩 breaks, and baths if needed. My backyard is a private and fully fenced dog park/ agility training center/ sniff spot. As a dog behaviorist, I mostly focus on learning about your dog and then educating the human pack members to create healthy and trusting relationships. I sincerely believe that there's no such thing as a bad dog. And, every such "bad dog" deserves another chance to turn things around and learn to respect and follow their calm and confident humans. I can't say that I'm an expert, but I would love to help. Medium Yard for Dogs in Coquitlam (No Escape Artists!)

IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD Figured I'd give this a try since I have such a nice, big, relatively unused backyard! I'm describing it as medium to be conservative, it's about 2500 sqft, give or take. Newly planted fruit trees around the perimeter of the yard along with other fruiting plants including a monstrous blackberry bush that straddles the adjacent property. Warning that there may be spiky vines on the edges of the property! *MAY 2026 UPDATE* The enormous property straddling bramble is GONE, as per the owner's wishes. So while the risk of spikes has gone down, the wall of privacy it created on the left side of the yard is also gone. Less privacy than before, but the neighbors do not own a dog. I hope disturbances are low with this new arrangement! PLUS it's summer, so there are raspberries and blackberries aplenty! But other than that, it's a wide open backyard, with some late day shade provided by the pine trees. The fence is a classic metal chain link, with only the entrance to the yard (more of a baby gate) and one divot in the back that a crafty (but small) canine could squeeze through (I've only ever seen cats use it tho), which is why I titled it "No Escape Artists!". Otherwise with the picnic table provided, it's easy to grab a seat, play with your pets, or just let them explore while you chill! Whole yard is in eyesight (except under the Pine trees). Hope to see your furry friends! 🐾

Blackberry bushes and prickly vegetation grow around some outer edges, so please supervise dogs that like to push into brush. The ground is natural and may be uneven, wet or slippery following rain. Fallen branches, wildlife and other normal outdoor conditions may occasionally be present. 🐦🐿️ The lowest fencing is approximately 4 feet high. This field may not be suitable for dogs that can jump, climb or escape over a 4-foot fence. 👀 PRIVACY AND DISTRACTIONS Our family dogs do not enter the Sniffspot field during confirmed reservations. They may occasionally be seen or heard from our separate family yard or house. Dogs, people, cyclists, vehicles and other animals may also sometimes be seen or heard outside the property. This is a good option for dogs that benefit from private space but can tolerate occasional sights and sounds. It is not a completely visually or audibly isolated location. 💧 SELF-SERVE AMENITIES The water, pool, toy, waste and seating areas are self-serve. We normally reopen around March once the ground has drained, the grass has recovered and the field is firm enough for dogs to run safely. The exact closing and reopening dates change from year to year based on rainfall, drainage and field conditions.
