Mostly flat terrain for easier walking. Some trails are rocky, some have alot of protruding roots, ground is uneven in areas. Vinegar and salt mixture used for a weed killer on some of the trails. You're very likely to see squirrels and deer. Occasional dog barking in the background. Sometimes neighbors mowing/ kids playing. Pretty private, but not completely isolated. You might see a car driving past. Clearing will be squishy and back trails will be muddy after it rains. Not necessary to bring poop bags, just relocate it if it ends up where you walk. **We will be temporarily closed for 2026.** Our quiet, fully fenced (6’ privacy fence) almost 1 acre yard offers a variety of dog & human friendly spaces. There’s a secure entrance to the yard from a large circle driveway. There is a deck with table, seating, and umbrellas, a small pond, a screened in gazebo with a fan and seating, a hammock area, a shaded doggy hangout, and a fire pit with seating. We have a variety of surfaces: concrete sidewalk, river rock landscaping beds, dirt holes for digging, wood deck with rugs, gravel beds, and plenty of grass! The yard is lined with large trees for shade- it is in almost full shade after 5pm in the summer months. There’s plenty of dog toys and various water bowl zones. We also provide fresh spring water & treats for both humans and dog guests! Feel free to pick blueberries on our four large bushes in July/August or apples on our three trees.
