Grow Joy Farm, a working farm 7 Acre Partially Fenced Private Dog Park

Grow Joy Farm is a 30 acre working farm practicing rotational grazing meaning some of our pastures are left empty throughout the year. Keep in mind because this is a working farm, there are cows, chickens, geese, emus, and possibly other animals in various locations. We would love to have all dogs enjoy this beautiful space, but it is required to have a meet-and-greet visit before enjoying a fully private experience. If this will be your first time, call me in advance so that I can greet you before bringing dog out of car. That way I can discuss the spaces around the farm. Then we can bring your leashed dog out to see how they respond to this environment. If need be the fenced area is always a good spot. Reminder, this is a working from, there is mud and other places a city dog would love to roll in!! There is a hose for a nice rinse, on site if needed. When I discovered Sniffspot, I knew there would be some lucky pups that would enjoy using this revolving space, I know our dogs do!! Some of the pastures have what I would call dog safe fencing. While others, dogs would likely be able to get out of the fence, have a quick lesson of electric fences, or under the gates. The pond can be rented as well, but it is not fenced at all, and is a wetland, so I can't promise cleanliness. Depending on the season you might find blueberries, black raspberries, or blackberries. We have one full acre fully fenced with 4' high goat/sheep woven wire fencing. About 1/3 of it is open grassy field and the other 2/3 is nice shady woods. We in the process of over seeding the field to make the grass more lush this spring. We have added a few surprises down in the woods to make it more fun for our guests and their fur babies. There is an open lean-to where there are dog toys like frisbees and balls availble. There is also be a cute backdrop as a photo op for the dogs.

A ⅓-acre pond for dogs who love to splash and swim during the summer heat. The shallower side of the pond is near the bridge, with water starting at about 1 foot deep and gradually sloping to around 5 feet at the deepest end 2 acres of open fields perfect for running, chasing balls, and stretching those legs. 1 acre near the house is not fenced

Private Pond Pooch Paradise

Winter conditions as of 2/5/26: about a foot of snow, ground is frozen, no mud, wear boots, dress warm, your dog will love it! Some paths were plowed to knock down the snow height, path in woods plowed. Our property sits 1200+ feet off of the main road and is a total of 28 acres. There are neighboring properties that are 50 acres and 80 acres so no close homes in most directions. We are located approximately 1 mile from West Branch State Park. The property has a clean swimming pond, a walkable forest area with some established trails that are currently covered with leaves. We are a working farm with about 8 acres of crops. There is a large 3 acre wheat field in the front great for ball throwing. The remaining non crop acres are walking paths with some cut grass and yard. We do not have any livestock but our neighbors have cows. There is a secure fence on one side of our property that keeps the cows in their pasture. They’ve never visited us! Neighboring properties are also farms with over 100 acres of open land, woods and crops surrounding our property with no main or visible roads. You can see houses on one side of the property and that’s where the cows live! They have dogs but they’ve never visited us. We do have 2 well behaved German Shorthaired Pointers named River and Remmy who run freely on the property. However we will keep them inside when guests use the property. We have a bench to sit on in a shaded area around the pond for relaxing. The woods are beautiful to walk about as well. There is a large rock in the woods to take a rest on with an amazing ravine creek view. Our property is large and not fenced so dogs with impeccable recall should enjoy the freedom to play, run, swim, sniff and explore. Leashed walks are also welcome. Long leads can also be used. Because we are so far off of any main roads you will feel comfortable here! Your pups are welcome to swim in the pond during your visit. During recent rains our property stays mainly dry and the woods are relatively dry as well as there are many leaves covering the ground. In the winter when the ground is frozen it’s a beautiful walk.

Stay on the trail, or don't. Let your dog go where it's nose leads! There is partial fencing on two sides. If you come on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday, finish your experience by visiting Silver Run Winery, which boarders the property. Email with any questions!

Private property - 1 acre unfenced access to Blockers Run; maintained creek bank and bed with egressed slopes or step access, fire pit/tiki torches (wood and matches may or may not be provided - please bring your own just in case), seating, mowed open field. Help yourself to supplies in the brown storage bench while you visit! Parking off-road through grasses in field just before the bridge, can park down along creek or up top in the open field. Please do not allow yourself or dogs to go up past the pallet garden. Pine trees and tall grass alongside are property boundaries. We own part of the property across the creek up to the birch tree cluster, there are some pathways cut over there, but heavy in poison ivy! Please pick up after your dogs. Trash can is not provided due to wildlife. Property near house monitored with security cameras. Not accessible during or immediately after heavy rainfall due to water safety.
