Gambel Field

Fully Fenced
1 acre

Fully fenced and off the beaten path. With right at 1 full acre, there is plenty of room for your dog(s) to run. A perfect place to work on off leash commands/training or just to let off steam. This private fenced field looks out over a larger 14 acre grassy field. Gambel Field has some new features! We recently completed a new retaining wall. This change makes the spot a little bit bigger and makes the water hose easier to access. We have also installed a new 12' x 20' shade structure over the picnic table and park bench. The larger field is also available for animal events and training areas. Inquire for more information on the large field.

Frequently asked questions about Arlington dog fields

What amenities do Arlington dog fields typically include?

Arlington dog fields feature amenities designed for full-speed running and fetch: big field and open space, secure fencing options, water stations, waste disposal, and often extras like toys, shade structures, or parking. Unlike public parks with generic setups, Arlington hosts customize their spaces. Browse 17 listings to compare—from bare essentials to luxury amenities perfect for your dog's needs.

Can I find dog fields in Arlington with water access?

Many Arlington dog fields include water features! Filter by amenities to find swimming pools, natural ponds, or water play areas. Water is perfect for hot Arlington days, water-loving breeds, or low-impact exercise for seniors and disabled dogs. Each listing specifies water type, depth, and safety features. Some Arlington hosts provide life vests or shallow options for nervous swimmers.

How clean are private dog fields in Arlington compared to public parks?

Significantly cleaner. Public dog parks in Arlington see dozens of dogs daily with sporadic city maintenance. Private dog fields have dedicated hosts who maintain their own spaces—cleanliness directly affects their reviews and bookings. Many Arlington hosts provide fresh poop bags, sanitized water stations, and regular grounds cleaning. With only one booking at a time, waste accumulation is minimal.

Can I book Arlington dog fields on short notice?

Usually yes! Many Arlington dog fields offer same-day or next-day availability with instant booking. Unlike public parks that might be crowded unpredictably, Arlington private dog fields let you reserve exactly when needed: early morning before work, midday breaks, evening exercise. Real-time availability shows on each listing—perfect for last-minute training or when routines get disrupted.

What's the best time to visit dog fields in Arlington?

Any time works since bookings are private! Unlike public dog parks in Arlington that are crowded during peak hours (mornings, evenings, weekends), you don't worry about timing. Book when it fits YOUR schedule—midday when it's quiet, dawn for cool weather, late evening for convenience. Many Arlington dog fields have lighting for after-dark visits. This flexibility is perfect for shift workers or dogs with special needs.

Do Arlington dog fields allow multiple dogs?

Yes! Most Arlington dog fields welcome multiple dogs from the same household. Some hosts set limits (check listings), but generally you can bring your whole pack. This is perfect for multi-dog households in Arlington where some dogs are selective—they can play together privately without outside interference. Great for sibling bonding or families with mixed ages/temperaments.

Can I use Arlington dog fields for special events?

Many Arlington dog fields welcome doggy birthday parties, training workshops, breed meetups, or group playdates. Private bookings mean your event won't be interrupted. Coordinate with Arlington hosts about capacity, amenities (parking, shade, water), and any restrictions. Some even provide party extras. Check individual Arlington dog field listings for event policies.

How do Arlington dog fields accommodate dogs with special needs?

Arlington dog fields are excellent for special needs dogs because you can filter for specific requirements: flat terrain for mobility issues, secure fencing for blind/deaf dogs, quiet locations for anxious dogs, small spaces for seniors, or maximum privacy for reactive dogs. Read reviews from other Arlington special-needs dog owners, and contact hosts with questions. The private setting means you can adapt the experience to your dog's unique requirements.
