55Such a cute spot and plenty of space for me and the dogs to stretch our legs. There were 3 trains that passed by during our nearly two hours there and a fourth came through as we left. My one nervous dog didn't like the gun shots, but she just stuck near me.
Everything was clean. There were two full poo bags I found; I grabbed them before we left and dropped them off at the gas station up the road. I also found an orange ball in the field and left it near the entry to the fenced in area.

55Whats great about this place is all the shade. Though today was cooler than most the last week the shade is really nice. And a nice grassy space to roll out a blanket and lay down with the pooch and watch the clouds.

55Our second visit to this great Sniffspot right off of I-5, perfect for a stop when traveling between Puget Sound and Oregon. The 9 acre field is huge! One hour is just about right to do 2 loops around the big field. And there's quite a bit more land that we've yet to explore. Our second visit to this great Sniffspot right off of I-5, perfect for a stop when traveling between Puget Sound and Oregon. The 9 acre field is huge! One hour is just about right to do 2 loops around the big field. And there's quite a bit more land that we've yet to explore. Barking from distant neighbor dogs and trains going by, but neither bothered our dogs. Feels very safe and secure.

55This was a perfect stop on a long drive- close to I-5 and easy to get to. Communication with the host was great and directions for access were clear. We spent all of our time in the fully fenced 9 acres, which was a huge field, with a river on one side, more fields and woods on two sides, and rail road tracks on the last side. There were 2 trains passing over an hour and a half and the first concerned one of our dogs, who hasn't been close to many trains. But it is an excellent spot to desensitize to trains, as you can get as close or as far away as you want and the fencing is secure. There were barking and visible dogs up hill from the sniff spot- separated from us by a good distance and at least 2 fences, the railroad tracks, and a road. Our dogs hardly noticed, but a very dog reactive dog might be concerned. The fencing seemed secure and in good repair and it felt very safe to just let our dogs run and play. There is a lot more land to explore, but not with dog proof fencing, so would just require a bit more vigilance to keep track of dogs. We hope to incorporate more visits into our trips through the area.Kate S.
