IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD Since I have started hosting I have found that the folks that come with their dogs are all wonderful people! No surprise there, they love dogs as everyone should. It has truly been fun to meet and talk to people about their dogs and allow them to enjoy our property. Trails are mowed during the summer and fall and groomed during the winter. We provide tick repellent spray once ticks become active. There are over 5K of trails for you and your puppies to explore. Jen's 100 Acre Private Dog Park and 3.5 miles of trails in Bath, Ontario.

Partially Fenced
100 acres

Daily 7:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. we offer a partially fenced 100 acre property where your dogs can run free. Update for Aug 1 2026: Summer is here and it's very pretty right now! We've got grass, a little mud, earth, wheat and soy fields, trees are filled out, and trails are good. The pond is getting weedy so not great for dogs to swim. The culvert and run off creek are dry now. With summer comes ticks so please take precautions seriously. To assist with tick concerns, we keep 2 large playing fields cut short as well as the main trail. I personally have never picked up ticks in these areas and I walk it almost every day. I do spray my shoes and legs with tick repellent. If you like, now you can drive half way back down the main trail and park in the signed parking area just past the culvert. The parking is on the east side of the main trail. General year round description: Currently, we have 4 official walking trails (3.5 miles approximately). We also have 2 groomed 1 acre field play areas. In warmer months, the main trail and playing fields are cut short if you wish to avoid longish grass. We will cut the side trails once they are dry enough to allow the tractor to go through with the mower. We keep the main trail plowed all winter, and side trails if the snow isn't too deep or heavy. We also offer 2 wooded walking trails, one short and one long. The woods are only recommended spring and fall due to insects but you are free to use the woods whenever you like, as long as it isn't windy. We have chairs available in the first field for you to relax. We have a Chuckit and balls available, fresh well water, bowls, and a garbage can in the first field also. There is a pond at the bottom of the first field to the right. Be advised that in spring there are geese and ducks that nest there; sometimes muskrats and/or otters at any time of the year - please prevent your dogs from harassing the wildlife. I don't recommend the pond for swimming for humans at all and only for dogs in the spring until late May, but dogs swim in there all summer and fall; it's your choice. In winter, the pond poses a danger. Please don't allow people or dogs to go on to the ice. There will be a warning sign in winter. From there we have a mile long gravel walking trail along fields and woods. It's very straight, and if you stay on the trail, you can't get lost. It is very quiet and peaceful. You can often see deer, wild turkeys, vultures, and lots of other birds, sometimes bald eagles. A walk to the end and back is 2 miles and takes 40 minutes at a moderate pace. Part way back the main trail goes through a shallow marsh. In the spring the frogs singing is quite remarkable! Further along there is a small run-off creek and metal culvert that is suitable for dog swimming when it is filled with water. This is marked with orange pylons so is avoidable if you put your dogs back on a lead as you pass. Just past the culvert, there are 2 fields going East that are planted with winter wheat, corn or soybean (these crops are rotated). We often have groomed trails cut around these (dependant on how wet the ground is) that go along woods and takes about 15 minutes, ending back on the main trail. If you just travel along the main trail you will reach the big hill. There is a tree stand at the bottom of this hill that has a deer trail camera on the stair railing facing up the west side of the hill. Going East at the base of the hill is the entrance to The Shady Trail, a nice short trail going through the cedars. The entrance is marked with orange tape and an arrow. This trail ends at a small field with a deer stand in it, a red arrow marks the way back to the main trail. In and back would take about 10 minutes. Part way up this trail, you can take a side trail into the woods and follow the markers from there. Part way up the big hill, there is an entrance to the wooded trails. This marked trail meanders through the woods for about a mile, exiting at the top of the big hill, which is also marked with orange tape and an arrow. The main trail ends at the top of the big hill where you will see a Stop sign. Be dressed for gravel on the trail, uneven footing on the side trails, and potential water and mud puddles on the property in wet seasons and after rain. During spring and summer, prepare for ticks and insects. Wear hats and appropriate insect repellent. ** The main trail can be icy in spots in winter so wear appropriate boots. The main trail runs North/South so if you want a sunny walk, go at midday. A shaded walk, go after 3 p.m. We have a white garbage can for poop but please use biodegradable dog poop bags if you can. *Please remove your dogs' poop wherever they go!* *No smoking on the property* ***IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD, $11 per hour for the first dog, subsequent dogs are $5.50/hour. On your way home, stop at MacKinnon's brewery just down the road for food and drinks; there are non-alcoholic options. They are dog and family friendly; an all around great place to visit! Sherri's 40 Acre Unfenced Farm In Kingston

Partially Fenced
65 acres

IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD We have a 40 acre area, with 4 separate fields. All fields are open, limited trees, longer grass. It is country area so we have wildlife (raccoons, coyotes, hawks, eagles, deer and deer ticks) to be aware of. Entrance to the field is up the path by the willow tree. It is a working farm, so there are horses in the paddock, and in hay season the fields are quite tall (with paths) and the tractor will be out more often. In November/December we sell Christmas trees in front of the barn.

Elysium Woods - A 28 Acre Unfenced Private Dog Park near Stirling, ON

Unfenced
28 acres

****IMPORTANT : all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD*** Come and enjoy a beautiful 1.5 km walk through mature oak and white pine forest in the Oak Hills. Our trail is wide, perfect to bring a friend and catch up while your dogs run. The trail is well-marked with excellent visibility to keep track of your dog(s). There is very little elevation gain on the walk, so it’s well-suited to take your dog(s) out for a run or a leisurely stroll. Deer sightings are common and you may even spot our resident owl or the bald eagles that nest nearby. Ample parking is available at the trail head and a Little Free Library is located at the end of our driveway. Bring a book and take a book! We are a short trip from both Belleville and Quinte West. Our location, just ten minutes from a Hwy 401 exit (Wallbridge Loyalist Road) makes us a perfect puppy pit stop on your next road trip. *June-September Info: bug spray is provided at the trailhead for your way into the woods, and you’ll find a lint roller and duct tape to check for ticks for your way out. Consider wearing long pants, socks, and closed toe shoes, as you may encounter poison ivy. We are a true Ontario forest experience.

55Jen’s place is great. My dog’s love it. Buddy was found on the streets of Cairo at 3 weeks old with no siblings or mother in site. He has issues with anything new and is nervous at dog parks. Jen’s place is perfect for him. Izzy is a Britany Spaniel Poodle mix and loves to run. Again Jen’s place is great for this. Watching them run free makes my day. I can walk them safely and they are not pulling me.

55Had a great first Sniffspot experience thanks to Jen! I appreciate the detail the Jen provides in her listing and I felt well prepared to visit with my 10 month old service dog puppy who is full of energy and practicing his recall. The walk was reminiscent of the walk down the gravel path at Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Area but even more relaxing here because your pup can be off leash and there is no concern of other off leash dogs running up. We loved our sunny winter walk and Bruce found lots of great sticks on the trail in the woods. I’m excited to come back and experience it in the summer, too!

My dogs reactive & dog selective so this is a perfect place to get all her energy out. They have fresh water, lots of signage, and a ball + chuck it stick. Perfect to get any left over energy out. Deffiently becoming apart of my dogs walk spots. 💛

55"Great experience! The space was secure, clean, and perfect for an off-leash walk. My dog loved exploring, and the setup was thoughtful.

Frequently asked questions about Bath dog parks

Are there dog parks in Bath for reactive dogs?

Yes! Bath has 95 private dog parks specifically designed for reactive, anxious, or dog-selective pets. Unlike public dog parks where unexpected encounters can trigger your reactive dog, Sniffspot offers completely private bookings. That means only you and your dogs will be there. We enforce 30-minute buffers between visits so you won't run into other park users when arriving or leaving. This makes Bath Sniffspots perfect for reactive dogs who need safe off-leash exercise.

How many private dog parks are in Bath?

Bath has 95 private Sniffspot locations ranging from cozy backyard spaces to expansive properties spanning 100+ acres. You'll find small dog parks, dog fields, and fully fenced dog parks options, each offering complete privacy during your reserved time. Browse listings to compare sizes, amenities, fencing, and reviews from other Bath dog owners.

Are Bath dog parks friendly for all dog types?

Absolutely! Bath Sniffspot locations work for every type of dog: puppies learning socialization, senior dogs needing gentle exercise, small dogs who feel safer away from large breeds, high-energy dogs requiring space to run, and yes, reactive or anxious dogs needing privacy. Because bookings are completely private, you can customize the experience to your dog's specific needs—whether that's careful puppy introductions or stress-free exercise for nervous dogs.

Will there be other dogs at Bath dog parks?

No, that's what makes Sniffspot different from public dog parks! We only allow one booking at a time, and host dogs must be kept away during your visit. When you book a Bath dog park, you have the entire space to yourself (plus any dog-owning friends you invite). This privacy is crucial for reactive dogs, puppies in training, or any dog who needs space from other animals.

What makes Bath dog parks safe for anxious dogs?

Bath Sniffspot locations provide controlled, predictable environments without the chaos of public dog parks. There are no aggressive dogs, no inattentive owners, and no unexpected encounters that could traumatize anxious or fearful dogs. All guests must have vaccinated dogs (or titers), and hosts maintain clean spaces. 93% of Sniffspot reviews are 5 stars, with many highlighting how safe their reactive or anxious dogs felt.

Can puppies use Bath dog parks?

Absolutely! Bath dog parks are ideal for puppy socialization because they provide controlled, distraction-free environments. Puppies can practice recall, build confidence, and explore without the overwhelming chaos of public dog parks. Just ensure your puppy has age-appropriate vaccinations before visiting any Bath Sniffspot.

Are Bath dog parks good for small dogs?

Yes! Many Bath Sniffspot hosts mark their spaces as "small dog friendly," meaning they're appropriately sized for toy breeds and small dogs. Unlike public dog parks where small dogs risk being overwhelmed or injured by larger breeds, Bath private bookings give your small dog the entire space to themselves. Look for secure fencing with minimal gaps and hosts who understand petite pup needs.

What are the requirements for Bath dog parks?

All dogs must have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. Each Bath host may have additional requirements listed on their booking page. Most welcome all breeds, sizes, and temperament levels, including reactive dogs who can't safely visit traditional public dog parks.
