Lil Campbell River Farms Private Dog Park and Forest In South Surrey

Partially Fenced
13 acres

1 Acre fully fenced grassy area Dog Park with covered seating area to enjoy your coffee. No sprays or pesticides used on grass. Long stretch for ball launching and getting out the zoomies. Another 12 acres of walking over a bridge of the Lil Campbell River into an incredibly lush forest. The forest is not all fenced. Once over the bridge, it is the dog owner discretion of whether your dog is off leash or leashed. It is a private forest so it is rare to see other dogs and people, but wildlife is always a possibility. Please keep your dog on a leash from the parking area to the dog park area and also from the dog park to bridge for a walk through the trails in the forest.

Flower Feather Farm: grassy meadow & woodland between Bellingham and Lynden

Unfenced
5 acres

Enjoy a peaceful five-acre unfenced dog park with a mix of short grass, grassy meadow, and lightly wooded area for dogs to explore. There’s plenty of room to sniff, roam, and play, whether your pup loves open space or shaded paths. Because the space is unfenced, it’s best for dogs with reliable recall or those kept on a long leash. Please clean up after your dog and help keep the meadow and woods beautiful for everyone. As this is raw land, you may prefer to wear closed-toe shoes, especially as we enter the rainy season.

Jason's 24 Acre Fully&partaily Fenced Private Dog Park In Blaine

Fully Fenced
5 acres

Hi, we have a couple different spots for your furry friend to play and get some energy out! The first spot is right by the entrance to the property and is a fully fenced like 1 acre. Add this word you’re more likely to be able to hear and possibly even see another dog. But still private and comfortable and very easy to get to The next spot is out in the back it’s about 20 acres is partially fenced with two horses roaming around The last one is past that area to the forest line and is a private trail that cuts through to the very back where it touches meets up with three other properties and opens up into about a two acre stretch of field with the culvert in the middle and a stream running through most of the time But it is also just partially fenced the trailer. There’s just blackberry bushes and trees on either side, but the trail itself maintained should be mostly clear. Of any branches and or bushes sticking out and impeding your walk where you can even ride your mountain bike if your dog prefers to run along side of you. I will be adding more pictures of this area very soon. Just wanted to get this add up. Thanks for looking. Hope to see you soon.

Bird Watching and Tail Wagging at the Beaver Pond

Unfenced
21 acres

Please Note: 11/25/22- I’ve decided to open up the calendar for a bit to allow reservations with greater ease, but I do still ask that you message first in case someone related to our forest cleanup project is on-site. 10/1/22- At this time the property could be potentially available for your use, however, we are preparing for the forest cleanup project that we’ve been working towards with the DNR for over a year. If you are interested in visiting here, please message and if it works out I’ll be happy to accommodate you. 07/01/22- Important: The Sniffspot platform does not allow hosts the option to approve or cancel reservations, as such I have blocked my calendar to more easily control reservations. I often don’t know until last minute when the forest manager I’m working with for the DNR forest cleanup project is on-site, the logging will take place hopefully this winter. — This 21-acre forest with a large beaver pond is classified as a class-A wetland. In addition to this, you can find a shallow creek, beaver dams, old-growth forest, and phenomenal bird habitat. Find privacy and quiet with the exception of the songs of many birds and woodpeckers. This property was once a show home, but a fire took place over 10 years ago and the house was not rebuilt. While the ruins that remain are minimal, it sets an interesting backdrop; perhaps it can be the scene for a mysterious photoshoot. Within the property is a small orchard, we do ask to try to not let the pups do their business there. Spring 2022 Update: One picnic table have been added to the property.

55Absolutely loved this property. Brad is lovely and welcoming. And the property is massive and plenty of room for the dogs to explore and practice recall. The one recommendation I have is to use a mapping app - we did it during fall so leaves were all over the ground and the trail was hard to see, so having the map handy to show us where we come from when coming back down was super helpful. Also, definitely wear sturdy hiking boots - some spots are understandably muddy and slippery! If you’re looking for an adventure to do with your dog this is the sniffspot for you!

Enjoyed Halloween hiking here. Some spot has lot of leaves on the ground and could see the color changed at top of the hill. Really nice fall hiking. Of course, my dogs had to soak at the creek at the end of hiking as usual.

55Great spot - actual trails and hiking. lots of space to roam and play. We did the hike that’s mentioned in the description and found that 2.5 hrs gave us enough time to be leisurely about it. If you’re short like me and want to go at a faster pace, you might consider bringing along hiking poles - especially if it’s been raining. The trail was dry for this trip but I would have wanted a bit more stability for going downhill if it had rained recently. There’s a few spots that require getting through a bit of somewhat thorny overgrowth so plan accordingly with what you wear. We didn’t encounter wildlife other than birds but Mozi’s nose definitely caught some interesting scents a few times so I kept him on a long line. This trails at the Sniffspot are well maintained and clear so didn’t have any trouble w long line getting caught and Mozi had plenty of fun running free. Gps/cell signal is patchy driving in this area so I recommend folks download the map to/from. All in all, worth a visit if you’re in the area!

55I love hiking and this was the perfect place for me and my reactive dog. The property is amazing and the trails are clear and wide. I just booked for 1.5 hr and it wasn't enough, next time I will book for two hours because I feel I didn't explore the whole territory. Bring a bottle of water for your dog, mine was panting once we were up the hill and looking for water but still he had a chance to drink from the creek on our way back. I will go back again. We loved it😍.

55Wow! Such an awesome property. This was my first visit; my dog Teddy had a blast! He ran & ran, then got a cool drink from the creek. Beautiful woods with a trail to hike. Signage was clear, as well as access instructions. Wonderful Sniffspot to visit. Everything was great. Just be sure your pup stays leashed at the beginning of the trail because the road is nearby. On the way back Teddy got ahead of me and when I reached him he had just begun to walk in the road. Next time I'm in Mount Vernon we will be back!

55So much room for the dogs to run! Love this place and will definitely be back although probably not during the wet season as I can see how it would be pretty muddy and slippery then. There is one spot at the beginning as you are heading down the trail that it runs very close to the road so you may want to leave your dog(s) leashed until you pass this point and leash them up on the return for the same reason.

Frequently asked questions about Brentwood Bay dog hiking trails

Why are private dog hiking trails better than public dog parks in Brentwood Bay?

Private dog hiking trails in Brentwood Bay eliminate major public park risks: unpredictable dog encounters that scare puppies, aggressive dogs that trigger reactive behavior, chaotic crowds that overwhelm seniors or small dogs, and disease transmission from dozens of unknown dogs. Brentwood Bay's 12 private dog hiking trails offer complete privacy, professionally maintained cleanliness, and controlled environments. Whether you have a fearful puppy, a reactive adult, a fragile senior, or simply want peace of mind, private bookings give you control.

How safe are Brentwood Bay dog hiking trails compared to public dog parks?

Brentwood Bay dog hiking trails are significantly safer than public facilities. Public dog parks risk: aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission, overcrowding that triggers reactive behaviors or injuries. Private Brentwood Bay dog hiking trails eliminate these concerns—bookings are completely private, all guests have vaccinated dogs (or titers), and hosts maintain clean spaces. 93% of Sniffspot reviews are 5 stars.

Are Brentwood Bay dog hiking trails safe for reactive dogs?

Brentwood Bay owners of reactive dogs choose dog hiking trails because they offer safe, private environments for off-leash exercise without the triggers of public dog parks. Complete privacy means no unexpected dog encounters, no overwhelming chaos, no aggressive dogs. Reactive dogs can finally enjoy natural exploration and varied terrain while building confidence in a controlled setting. Many Brentwood Bay reactive dog owners say Sniffspot is their only safe exercise option.

Can anxious dogs safely use Brentwood Bay dog hiking trails?

Yes! Brentwood Bay dog hiking trails provide controlled environments perfect for anxious or fearful dogs. No other dogs means no triggers, no overwhelming situations. Anxious dogs can explore a natural outdoor path where dogs can explore varied terrain off-leash in a safe, private environment at their own pace without stress. Many Brentwood Bay dog hiking trails offer quiet, spacious settings ideal for building confidence in nervous dogs who struggle at chaotic public dog parks.

Are Brentwood Bay dog hiking trails good for small dogs?

Absolutely! Small dogs benefit enormously from Brentwood Bay dog hiking trails because they can explore without fear of being trampled or intimidated by larger breeds. Many small dog owners in Brentwood Bay avoid public parks entirely due to safety concerns—dog hiking trails eliminate that worry. Filter for appropriate sizing, secure fencing with no gaps, and hosts who understand petite pup needs.

Do Brentwood Bay dog hiking trails work for senior dogs?

Yes! Senior dogs thrive at Brentwood Bay dog hiking trails because they can move at their own pace without being knocked over by rambunctious puppies or young dogs. Look for Brentwood Bay dog hiking trails with flat terrain, easy access, shade, and smaller sizes if your senior has mobility limitations. The privacy means your older dog can rest when needed and enjoy gentle exercise without stress.

What do Brentwood Bay dog owners say about dog hiking trails?

Reviews of Brentwood Bay dog hiking trails consistently highlight: excellent privacy for all dog types, secure fencing that prevented escapes, clean and well-maintained spaces, responsive hosts, and safe environments for anxious, fearful, reactive, senior, and small dogs. Local favorite Peaceful mini-retreat with field & woods is particularly praised in Brentwood Bay. Read reviews to see real experiences from Brentwood Bay dog owners with similar needs.

How clean and maintained are Brentwood Bay dog hiking trails?

Brentwood Bay hosts maintain their own dog hiking trails and take pride in providing excellent experiences. All guests must have vaccinated dogs (or titers). Many Brentwood Bay hosts provide poop bags, trash cans, and regular cleaning. Reviews highlight maintenance quality—browse Brentwood Bay dog hiking trail listings to see real feedback about cleanliness and upkeep.
