What people say about dog parks around Cape Coral, Florida
Ivan was Very hospitable to me and my puppy. The yard is a wonderful place with shade and plenty of room for Beau to romp.
Beautiful park! Fully fenced and well maintained. There was a personalized sign welcoming me and Juno, some fun snacks, and a bottle of cold water. It was so nice to be able to go somewhere safe to work on building my dog’s confidence. Thank you!

We are so grateful to have found a place for our dog to run around especially after being displaced from Hurricane Ian. Thank you so much for the hospitality to be able to use your backyard for Honey’s enjoyment. She had a Pawsome time 🐶
We had a great time! Cute dog treat and water bottle were there waiting for us when we arrived. Yard is well kept, spacious. Perfect for play time! Will definitely come back!
What a great, nice yard for my dog to run his energy out in. It was spacious, clean, well kept, and with great toys for him to play with. He ran all over that place, practically flying through the air. We don´t have much of a yard so this place was like Disneyland to him.
Our first time at this SS and it was great. A very well kept yard with grass and minimal dirt. There is a hose and dish for water for the dogs. Very good fencing and a nice entrance gate. We will use Suzanne's yard again!
Backyard was very spacious and Barbie was a great host. Very responsive & had convenient items like a water bowl & baggies
Very nice, clean, and spacious yard. Barbie was there to greet us when we got there and made sure we were all comfortable before leaving us to it. She was a fantastic host.
This was perfect! Green grass/ water/toys
Will try to make this a weekly visit.
Second time visit. Another great time, Harpo loved it.
A nice, big, and spacious yard. Plenty of room to run around.
An amazing space. My dogs had the best time
Been here several times and it's always a pleasant experience. There's water for your dog avilable
The space was exactly as advertised in the photographs posted online; parking was convenient, and there was access to water and water bowls, but we chose to bring our own. Our puppy enjoyed all the new smells and exploring the equipment at his own pace. We will be back!
Very nice area, it was great to get my dog somewhere to run around. Can't wait to use it again when it's not so hot!
My dog loved the park and being able to run around off leash. I got the extra to talk to a trainer which was very helpful!
The facility was very easy to find and very clean. There was much to do for my two big active dogs!
My pup and I had a wonderful time! The owner was wonderful and patient with all my questions and clarifications. She was very accommodating. The park is well cared for and my pup loved playing here!
This fenced in yard is very clean and the owner is responsive and helpful. We brought our agility jumps and she offered to set up weave poles. We plan on coming back!!
This was a great spot for my dog that doesn’t really leave my side, it’s a very cute small area for a good small-medium dog that needs a good exercise. Love this so much definitely going to come again
What other types of private dog parks are available?
Dog water parks
Many hosts have added water features like pools and/or are nearby lakes or rivers.
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 0% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Cape Coral area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 48 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 6 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
