Fenced in yard with chairs and patio Milk District

Fully Fenced
0.02 acres

Fenced in yard big enough to throw a ball, have dog run around. I have a small patio and a water bowl for dogs. If it rains, you can message me and come back another time for free. IMPORTANT: If you need help with closing the gate let me know (to open, you push down and pull. You do the opposite to close it but you don't have to make sure it is closed because I don't have a dog! :) We are right off the 408 and close to the executive airport so you will hear jets/planes overhead. If you have any issues, text me and I will fix them ASAP.

Welcome to Pepper's Backyard And Pool For Dogs To Rent In Orlando

Fully Fenced
0.34 acres

Summer is the most fun time! Do you and your dog(s) like to swim? Would you like to be able to swim with your dog(s) in a clean sparkling saltwater pool? Pepper's Backyard offers you both! Not only the use of our private backyard, but you and your dog(s) have the option to swim in our beautiful sparkling refreshing saltwater swimming pool for an additional fee of $10 per dog per visit! Sign up for this option under the "EXTRAS" section. There are less expensive Sniffspots in Orlando you can visit, but none of them offer the amenities that Pepper's Backyard And Pool does. If you want to enjoy the dog days of summer swimming in a beautiful, clean, refreshing saltwater swimming pool with your dogs, Pepper's Backyard and Pool is the spot for you! Make your reservation now! Fully fenced in large backyard for your dog(s) to run around and play in. This spot is perfect for any dog, but especially for reactive dogs that aren't able to run free or be around other dogs or people. When my dog Pepper was alive, I couldn't take him to public parks without him having to be muzzled and tethered to a very short leash. Pepper was a mix of Chow, Siberian Husky, German Shepherd, and Wolf. Unfortunately, he was not able to be socialized. But he enjoyed his backyard, and now I'm offering Pepper's Backyard to other dogs like Pepper and for every dog to run free, play, and be happy off leash. For an additional fee of $10 per dog per visit, your dog(s) can cool off in Pepper's saltwater pool. **Please sign up for the pool under "Extras" *** Dog(s) must be accompanied by a human while they are in the pool and use a water vest or floatie if needed (not provided by Host) and Dog(s) and Human(s) must be able to swim in up to 6 feet of water. You are visiting our home where my family and I live. Please be respectful of our home and clean up any mess before you exit our property. There is a broom on the patio you can use. No drugs or alcohol is to be brought to or consumed at Pepper's Backyard per Sniffspot's Guest rules. Please pick up your dog(s) poop. If you don't have dog poop bags, there will be some provided for you on the patio table. Please place used soiled dog toys and towels in the laundry basket located on the patio so they can be cleaned and sanitized for the next guest. You are required to use caution and care when swimming. There is to be no diving into the pool. There are no lifeguards on duty. You, your dog(s), and any guest you bring agree that you are swimming at your own risk and assume all liability for yourself, your dog(s), and anyone you bring with you. Prior to your visit, you are required to inform Host thru the Sniffspot app of all humans and dogs you are bringing to PEPPER'S BACKYARD. Please be careful not to throw balls or frisbees over the fence and do not take any toys home with you. They are the property of Pepper's Backyard. An inventory of all toys is taken before and after each Guest visit. Missing, damaged or lost toys will be charged to you at $10 per item, and you will be expected to pay for it before the end of your visit either by Cash, CashApp, or Zelle. Please supervise your dog(s) and do not allow them to dig holes in our yard. There is a kiddie pool filled with sand in the far right corner of the yard, and that is the only place your dog(s) are allowed to dig. Any holes dug or any damage done to our yard, pool, patio, or yard furniture will immediately be reported to Sniffspot, and you will be banned from returning to this spot. Do not urinate in the pool or in the yard. A guest bathroom is located inside our home that you are welcome to use. Please know that there are 5 working and monitored surveillance cameras that take video clips of everything you, your dog(s) and any guest you may bring with you are doing while you are on our property and by booking at Pepper's Backyard you all acknowledge and agree to being video recorded. There could potentially be neighbors of all types walking through my neighborhood since my home is located in a highly populated residential neighborhood. As a safety precaution, please lock your car doors, keep your dogs leashed while entering and existing my property, and be aware of your surroundings.

Fully Fenced
0.01 acres

Welcome to a fully fenced, private backyard designed for dogs to run, play, and feel safe 🐾 This space is completely enclosed with a secure fence, providing a calm and distraction-free environment. It’s perfect for all dogs — especially reactive, shy, or nervous dogs that need privacy and peace. There is plenty of room to run, play fetch, or explore. The covered patio offers shade and seating so you can relax while your dog enjoys the space. Fresh water and toys are available to make your dog’s visit even more enjoyable 💛 🐶 I also have a friendly, well-socialized Golden Retriever (Chloe) who absolutely loves other dogs. If you’re interested, supervised playdates can be arranged for dogs that enjoy social interaction. 👉 If your dog prefers to be alone (including reactive dogs), Chloe will be kept completely separate and out of sight to ensure a stress-free experience. I have hands-on experience caring for dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and behaviors, so I truly understand how important a safe and controlled environment is. ✨ Coming soon: I’m planning to add a water splash/play area to make visits even more fun, especially on warm days! Perfect for: ✔️ Reactive or nervous dogs ✔️ High-energy dogs ✔️ Training sessions ✔️ Safe off-leash time ✔️ Optional friendly playdates I take pride in keeping the space clean, secure, and comfortable for every dog that visits 🐾

Why Orlando Dog Owners Love Private Dog Parks

Public off-leash areas here have issues locals understand. Dog's recall isn't perfect? You need secure fencing, not spaces where they could take off toward I-4. It's September and feels like 102 with 95% humidity? Water fountains, shade, and pools aren't luxuries. Dog gets stressed around large dogs or reactive in chaotic play areas full of visiting dogs? Private bookings eliminate that entirely.

Orlando Sniffspot hosts get Central Florida reality. Properties with actual drainage for daily afternoon storms, shade from mature oaks, pools and water features (essential, not extra), functioning water stations, agility equipment for high-energy breeds. Nobody's verifying if other dogs are spayed or neutered. No exposure to communicable diseases in overcrowded spaces. Training with food or treats? Possible without theme park crowds mentality bleeding into dog parks.

What Your Orlando Dog Actually Needs

Orlando dogs need more than standard off-leash dog parks. They need fully fenced yards that don't flood every afternoon. They need multiple water stations because this humidity is dehydrating. They need proper waste stations and bag stations for dog defecation cleanup that won't attract wildlife. Walking areas that drain properly and aren't ant colonies. Serious shade coverage because even "cooler" months here are hot.

Where to Find Dog Parks in Orlando

With over 700 Sniffspots across the Orlando area, coverage is everywhere. Winter Park, Baldwin Park, College Park, Thornton Park, Mills 50, Dr. Phillips, Windermere, Lake Nona, Oviedo, Winter Springs, Maitland, Altamonte Springs, Kissimmee, Clermont, Apopka, Sanford. Even Celebration and Lake Mary have tons of options.

Filter for dog fields for runners, water parks for cooling off, small dog parks, fenced-in areas with shade and drainage.

Pro Tips for Orlando Dog Park Visits

Book early morning before the heat peaks or evening after storms pass. Bring way more water than you think necessary (humidity dehydrates dogs fast), poop bags for waste stations, bug spray for yourself, towels for post-pool chaos. Afternoon thunderstorms roll through almost daily in summer, so check radar. Food or treats for training? Store them sealed because humidity ruins everything.

The Sniffspot difference: your time slot is completely private. No off-leash dogs while their tourist owners aren't paying attention after a Magic Kingdom day. No vacation dogs who've been cooped up in hotels all week. No competing for space near walking areas. Just reliable fenced-in land your dog can use year-round without you both getting soaked, bitten by bugs, or dealing with dog park tourists. Orlando Dog Parks Tips from Dog Owners and Walkers

Park of the Americas in Orlando, a public dog park. Open daily 7 am to 9 pm.

Year-round warm weather means Orlando dog owners have had more practice than most at figuring out what works. Here's what they know.

Orlando Dog Parks Advice 1: Lake Baldwin has no off-season, which means no off-season crowds either

Lake Baldwin is one of the best public dog parks in Florida, and the word is thoroughly out. Weekends draw significant crowds, and the lake access means some dogs get very excited or very anxious as soon as they see the water. For dogs who are reactive or get overstimulated, weekday mornings are your best window. The park before 9 am on a Tuesday is a genuinely different experience from a Saturday afternoon.

Orlando Dog Parks Advice 2: The summer heat here is not negotiable

Florida summer afternoons are not safe for most dogs to be exercising outdoors, full stop. Orlando dog owners learn quickly to limit outdoor exercise to morning and early evening sessions between May and October, and to cut those short when humidity is high. Signs of heat stress can appear faster than owners expect, especially in younger or heavier dogs. Keep water accessible throughout, check pavement temperatures before crossing parking lots, and plan for no more than 30 to 45 minutes outside during peak summer heat.

Orlando Dog Parks Advice 3: Watch for water quality alerts at parks with lake access

Blue-green algae is a real hazard in Florida's warm freshwater lakes, and Lake Baldwin and similar parks can be affected during summer months. Orange County Parks posts alerts when conditions are unsafe, but notices don't always spread widely. Before heading to any park with lake or pond access, check for current algae advisories. Dogs who swim in affected water can become seriously ill, and the risk increases in August and September when water temperatures peak.

Popular Orlando Public and Private Dog Parks

Orlando has a solid network of public dog parks spread across Orange County, and the year-round warmth means locals have gotten good at making it work in every season. A few spots have become genuine community favorites. Some of the best-known Orlando public dog parks are:

Lake Baldwin Park (Winter Park)

Open daily. Twenty-three acres bordering Lake Baldwin, with off-leash areas that include direct lake access for swimming, shaded picnic areas, and enough open space for dogs to genuinely stretch out. Almost universally loved by locals. The waterfront setting elevates it well above a standard fenced park and makes it the first recommendation for anyone new to the area.

Park of the Americas

Open daily 7 am to 9 pm. A fully fenced park that divides dogs at 35 pounds, with painted concrete tunnels and a layout that keeps dogs engaged. Clean, well-maintained, and conveniently located for central Orlando residents who want a reliable, no-surprises visit.

Downey Dog Park

Open daily. Separated spaces for small and large dogs, shade and seating, and a standout feature: a designated time-out pen for dogs who get overstimulated and need a moment to decompress. That kind of thoughtful design detail makes a real difference on a busy afternoon.

Why choose a private dog park in Orlando over a public one?

Orlando's dog parks are busy year-round, not just on weekends. The consistent warm weather means there's no true off-season where parks thin out and become easier to navigate. Lake Baldwin is wonderful, but it draws both locals and visitors on any given day, and the combination means a quiet midweek visit is no longer a given. For dogs who do better in a predictable, lower-stimulus environment, the public park calendar here doesn't offer many genuinely quiet windows.

Private spaces through Sniffspot also solve one of Orlando's less charming park realities: the summer heat and humidity can make long outdoor sessions feel like a sauna. Covered and shaded private properties extend your comfortable outdoor time considerably. And with hosts spread across Orange County and beyond, there's often something much closer to home than the popular parks.
