Palmetto Park Pup Pad

Greetings, I invite apartment dwelling dog owners to share my yard! I am walkable or a short drive from Vantage, Fushion and Artistry on 16th to the east or Gallery 3100 to the west. This “Backyard of Requirement” can be whatever you need- a place to stretch your legs and play catch w your pooch, a Hammock to read while your furry friend naps in the shade, or Doggie Play date locale to tire your puppy out before you take them on leash (with ear protection if necessary) out and about to the venues. Nice projector and set up under carport offers a great “walk in” movie experience w your friends! More photos to come…..Since 2014, we have painted and removed pavers, added some native Bahia sod (no fertilizer nor pesticides), removed invasive trees and switched to Florida Friendly landscaping “outside the fence”, while making a family and dog-friendly backyard. We have strung up lights and added decor. I wove PVC into the chain-link fence for privacy from the neck-down. Parking is available on 23rd street across from the yard. The yard only shares one 6 foot white vinyl fence w one neighbor but otherwise is a corner lot surrounded by warehouses. Doggies can enjoy the grass and the shade and soaking w you in the Intex pool. They may enjoy digging around the fire pit, or just running circles around it. Adult Humans- There is a 2-car carport with many chairs and tables for people. I have a Parks charcoal grill, a brick fire pit, and a 8 foot diameter, 30 inch Intex pool. I can provide coolers or backyard fridge. Grab carry out from Food Trucks or the many Grand Central or Deuces Live restaurants. Toddler Activities- I have a tricycle, small plastic “house”, and a water table (photos coming).j

Jessica was very accommodating and helpful throughout our visit. This was our first Sniffspot experience and we really enjoyed it. The yard was completely fenced in and she had water out for us upon our arrival. Our dog loved running around and chasing her tennis ball into the soccer nets. We will definitely book this spot again in the future! 🐶

This spot is absolutely amazing, I wish I could give it a million stars! Very secure, clean, relaxing set up to sit if you want, toys/balls to throw for the pups, refreshments if you need - Valarie has it all! I was able to meet Valarie (prearranged, she didn’t drop in unexpectedly) - she’s amazing, my (usually reactive) girls loved her, and I highly recommend reaching out to her if you’re looking for other pup services like dog walking, day care or sitting. I can’t say enough good things about how amazing this experience was, you and your pups will love it!

We absolutely loved visiting Valarie’s! We have two anxious rescue dogs who love to run, sniff, and play but a dog park is too unpredictable and overwhelming. Valarie’s was perfect! Our dogs loved her toys, treats, and everything about the yard, especially a bit of bird watching! I loved how homey the yard felt! Comfy seating, shade, and a table! I’d love to bring the pups and use the wifi and get some work done!

Valarie was so nice and accommodating! Safe enclosed backyard and very thoughtful with toys, a water bowl, human snacks, and access to the lanai to sit in the shade. Bubba had a great time and also got to play with her dog Gypsy which was wonderful socialization for him! We can’t wait to come back!

Valarie’s backyard isn’t huge, but plenty adequate to let my labradoodle run off some steam. She supplied all sorts of toys and water for the dogs, as well as treats. There were treats and water for people as well. The fence was secure and there was nothing the dogs could get in to..as hard as my dog tried. Also a little indoor patio to get out of sun. Thanks Valarie for sharing your yard!!

This was a wonderful spot, my dogs thoroughly enjoyed the full half hour. The host has a pristine and charming yard, thoughtfully including fresh water, dog toys, seating outside as well as access to the screened lanai (with snacks a goodies available). The dogs both explored happily, and my younger one enjoyed fetch with some of the toys. We will definitely return.

Clean well fenced and perfect for my 2 seniors to get a change of scenery. I dont trust dogparks since both of my dogs are older and really have no interest in puppy shenanigans.......Added bonus (for me anyways) less than 2 miles from my house.
