Rent safe and private dog agility parks hosted by locals in Cascade Locks, Oregon

We have two full acres of fully fenced property for your dogs to run free! Part of the property is Forest, where your dogs can forage or do scent work. It's the best of both worlds with the woods to roam and open areas to play fetch or play on some of the agility equipment like jumps and weaves. I have three dogs that roam the upper 2 Acres of my property. If your dogs roam Into the edge of the Woods up to the dividing fence , they will see my pups if they're out. My pups may also bark as you play in the grass area down below if they see you. The property adjacent to us is home of two very nice dogs. They are very friendly but there is a chance you and your dog will see them. Other visitors have told me they are very sweet and do not even bark when they are out there playing. Those same neighbors also have some pigs that are sometime allowed to roam on the backend of thier property. There is a chance you will catch them romping around.

Our spot was designed and built specifically to help keep pets home. We are a search and rescue that deals with hard cases and know what its like to have dogs that can’t be around other dogs, animals or people. This spot is dedicated to those dogs in an effort to help keep them active and happy at home so their families don’t have to give them up. All proceeds from this sniffspot go directly to I Paw’d It Forward to continue serving our mission to keep families together.

(Note: Bring boots and a rag. Currently muddy. There is a hose to wash off afterwards.) Relax with your pooch in a hidden valley away from street noise in our private dog park called The Dog-Out! Sit in the woodsy A-frame hut, out of the sun or rain while your pups explores the 1/3 acre area. Sit at the picnic table and share lunch together. Need to get out some energy? Run your dog through all the agility obstacles! A Saw-Dust Toilet Outhouse is available for your convenience. See pictures. It’s there incase you need it. Coming Soon: a swing-set for the kids, more obstacles, more toys. Dogs are free to dig as much as they want! Our farm is 1/2 mile down a private drive. The Sniffspot is at our property entrance along our driveway. There’s a mini-Aussie that lives in the white house 500 ft away from the Sniffspot. The trails are fenced in completely and a GREAT opportunity to practice recall and other off leash skills to prepare for future hikes with no boundaries(fencing). We are fully fenced and offer a mini trail system. You can find a long line by the water jug if you are just beginning recall training.

Come down the first driveway. You will see a white sign “Windenfir” You will then see a sign “Windenfir Training Field.” Parking avail in front of gate, near the exit, or in front of garage. Basically you can park anywhere :) Agility course, tennis balls, fresh water, and poo buckets available. After going though Windenfir training field gate you will see the back gate with a sign “Windenfir Dog Pasture." Great place to explore and let them sniff. Looking to the right when out in the pasture, the neighbors Goldens occasionally bark. Two fences between properties on this side. Owner usually calls them when barking. The pasture has goat droppings so no surprises. This is a farm :) Chickens and goats in separate area and visible to dogs (see photos). Don’t be surprised if they come up to the fence to see what’s going on. Very nice field fencing in pasture. Chain link/field fencing in training field. As of now the pasture is wet, slick and hard packed in certain areas. Check pasture area if deciding to throw a ball/stick/small child :). Playhouse is open for photos and kids. I have an acre of dog safe fenced field. I do use this for my own dogs as well. It is maintained and a nice area for dogs to run!

There's alot more to the 7 1/2 acre farm that makes it very unique. it's sort of like a rural "Portlandia". We've hosted dozens of weddings, parties, concerts, and reunions here in the past. So, just ask if you'd also be interested in using the farm for your own special event! We've had tons of doggie play date and birthday parties here. Several trails, a shallow creek, and partially wooded. Main loop trail (Rogue Loop) is 0.56 miles in length. The rest of the trails add another 1/2 mile. Access to hose and bowl for fresh water and rinsing off muddy feet (not available when temperatures are below freezing). WiFi available (rogue ranch guest) at the front of property, and cell service throughout. Property can be muddy if it has been/is raining. Recommend boots for humans. Recommend strong recall for dogs visiting or long lead. Bring towels to clean/dry dog feet. Please pick up after your pet and dispense in one of the three waste containers along the trails. Please be respectful of privacy to the occupants in the house!

*FRESH WATER BOWL* Moments before you arrive, we will put out a clean and fresh water bowl. No worries about sharing with any other dogs. *COMMON SENSE WARNING* If your dog is sick in any way, please keep them home until they feel better 🙂 Come play in our huge, fully fenced back yard! We are located in the Cully neighborhood, just minutes from the airport and the Alberta Arts District. This would be a perfect private spot to work on training.

We are a dog daycare that does just half days so our afternoons are free for you! It’s a great option for reactive dogs that cannot be with other dogs, shy dogs that are overwhelmed by dog parks or too much stimulation or a perfect spot for you to rent and let your dog play with just his best friends in a daycare just for them. Also a great place for you to rent and do your private training sessions (no aversive training allowed in the facility). Feel free to reach out with questions!

Approximately 5 acres fenced and ready to go! There is a pond and creeks on the property, but the amount of water in them varies by the season. There is an outdoor horse arena with some old jumps and weave poles one can utilize. There is also a horse teeter-totter that one can use to help their dog feel the ground moving under them. There are also a ton of fallen down trees and tree stumps that can be used for Parkor type things! There are a couple spots in the fence that a small/medium dog could get through, but there is a second backup area that is 100% secure should their be a problem. The height of the grass and such varies by season as well.

I've spent several years in condos with my two beloved German Shepherds, I empathize with the challenges pet parents face when lacking a secure, private garden space. Recently, I moved to a new home space with a spacious garden, allowing my dogs the freedom to roam. I am eager to open this safe, welcoming space to the entire pet-loving community, regardless of breed or size.

We have a large open area chipped with some agility equipment and fun obstacles to use for doggie parkor. It’s great for fetch and training.

We have agility jumps and cones and a platform you are welcome to use. There is a crate with rubber dog toys next to the water bowl for your use as well. You are welcome to help yourself to the raspberries, blueberries, and strawberries in the summer. There will be a shade umbrella next to the sofa and table. I also have plans to fill the space with flowers for your viewing pleasure in the spring. 😊🌻
