Lots of room for your dog to run and explore. It is fully fenced and a fence splitting the front and backyard. The backyard has big open spaces as well as lots of trees and bushes near the fence to explore. A tree did fall on part of the fence in back left corner but has lots of over growth it would be hard to get out (my dog has not been able to). There is also an inground pool that is not fully fenced in but can sit and watch your dog swim or join them :) If you would like to use the pool, please give me a day or 2 notice as i will make sure the cover is off and skimmed, etc. The front yard is quite large as well with a gate at the driveway to close to have it fully fenced. I do have chickens but they are fully fenced in. There are tenants upstairs who have a dog but will be aware when you are using the property.

Medium Yard for Dogs in Coquitlam (No Escape Artists!)

IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD Figured I'd give this a try since I have such a nice, big, relatively unused backyard! I'm describing it as medium to be conservative, it's about 2500 sqft, give or take. Newly planted fruit trees around the perimeter of the yard along with other fruiting plants including a monstrous blackberry bush that straddles the adjacent property. Warning that there may be spiky vines on the edges of the property! *MAY 2026 UPDATE* The enormous property straddling bramble is GONE, as per the owner's wishes. So while the risk of spikes has gone down, the wall of privacy it created on the left side of the yard is also gone. Less privacy than before, but the neighbors do not own a dog. I hope disturbances are low with this new arrangement! PLUS it's summer, so there are raspberries and blackberries aplenty! But other than that, it's a wide open backyard, with some late day shade provided by the pine trees. The fence is a classic metal chain link, with only the entrance to the yard (more of a baby gate) and one divot in the back that a crafty (but small) canine could squeeze through (I've only ever seen cats use it tho), which is why I titled it "No Escape Artists!". Otherwise with the picnic table provided, it's easy to grab a seat, play with your pets, or just let them explore while you chill! Whole yard is in eyesight (except under the Pine trees). It’s a fully fenced back yard. As you walk down the stairs that lead past the main entrance and through the wooden gate, you will notice several security cameras belonging to the lady upstairs and myself. The back yard past the corner of the house is not monitored by camera. From the patio to the edge of the grass is fairly small, you’ll notice another set of stairs leading down the centre of the yard, to a mid level, sloped area. And another small path along the left fence line that leads to a third lower level area that is more unkept than the two levels above, it has large trees, blackberry bushes that are very sharp, and I suggest caution for the smaller fur-babies that dare to go that far down. There are doggy-waste bags available for waste removal. Anywhere in the yard is fine, except the far right fence line where my small strip of vegetable beds are located. Humans may use the washroom in the house, with all basic hygiene products available. The hose and kiddie pool is available for use free, upon request. I will be reached via Sniffspot app chat or a knock on the glass sliding door, should you need me. Otherwise after the initial meeting I will be inside, minding my own business.
