55Had the perfect day on this organic avocado ranch with my Heeler girl. The hosts have their own dogs and made sure to round them all up before we started which made for a safe and fun experience for my reactive girl. The only downside to the day was having to leave!

Give yourself some time to get down and back if that is your goal. Our two year old loved playing on the swing and getting in the water. He felt like he was at the beach :)

55Beautiful location by water with hammock and swing and chairs. A lot of room for the dogs to Roam . They were great at communicating with us on where to go. It is a very steep walk but they did offer to come pick us up if we were too tired to make it back up. Our dogs had a blast And we did to did not want to leave.Vickie D.

The property has a bunch of "mini" trails you can take, some shaded, some not. We also added on the stream hike, which was wonderful, especially since it was a bit hot today. My dog loved splashing around and jumping on the rocks. I wish that we had brought lunch so we could have eaten at the picnic table. All in all, it was a great day, and I was so happy that my dog could be free without having to worry about other humans or dogs. My dog does well in open areas, but she doesn't like crowds. Unfortunately, every dog-friendly place in LA is crowded. So, Alma and David's place was like a dream come true.

Are dog hiking trails safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than a city or county park. With a Sniffspot off-leash area all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. Our hiking trails tend to be outside the city, which lends to more privacy, but it is also important to follow typical hiking safety precautions, such as potentially having trail maps.

What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog hiking trail?
In order to hike the trails, we require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not permit dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot hiking trail at the same time as me?
Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
