Krys's Sniffspot is amazing!! What a great location! Easy to find, lots of parking, and a huge grassy field to run and roll in! There are about 3 picnic tables in each field, and everything was clean and well maintained. Krys was super responsive to all my questions, and just made everything easy.
I highly recommend this spot for a breed meetup, or (as we did) for a doggy birthday party! It easily accommodates a crowd of dogs and people. Plenty of shade, and we brought a collapsible dog pool which we filled with the hose Krys left attached to the water spigot for us.
One tiny note is that they have chickens and ADORABLE baby goats in a pen near the field. Not a problem at all for our guys, but if you have a pup with an exceedingly high prey drive they might just spend the whole time in the one corner staring at the goats. I wouldn't worry about the dog breaking out of the field (or into the goat pen), but it is something to be aware of if your dog is very triggered by that.

Huge & private yard! My dog loved all the smells and exploring. The host kindly left us toys, fresh water, poo bags (and a trash cans), hand sanitizer, and 2 chairs for humans! Yard is totally secure. Rest assured - the deck is blocked off now and so is underneath the house so no need to worry about those complaints from other reviews. I would definitely go back!

Fantastic, peaceful location, trees and grass in the enclosure, double-gated field entry for security. 2 brand new picnic tables and a bench in the shade, and a lovely breeze flows through the area, too! There are a few toys here if you forget your own, but there’s so much to sniff that my terrier didn’t even care to play ball! He’s a small dog, and there’s one (or two?) small place along a gate where the wire fencing leaves an inviting smidge of space (along the bottom) if your pup is an escape artist. Mine was totally fine and we had no issues. We absolutely loved this place and will be back soon. It’s safe, strong, well-designed, and well-maintained.

We have visited the horse farm with our dogs and our friends dogs (up 4-5). The site has 4 fields to explore with trails. The main field is a large open space with a hill which is a great way to exercise out the "demons" with our rowdy bunch :) Enough removed from owned house, and other distractions etc. Not fenced so you need dogs that stay close or have good recall. Grassed area so not much issues with mud (which other sniff spots have been issue). About 30 minutes from DC. The turn into the horse pastures is more of a trail path and a little hard to find on first visit. It can accommodate a SUV, keep in mind not paved and low clearance for some vehicles. Highly recommend this little found gem.

The property is set back from the road along a quiet gravel driveway. There are two fenced in yards with double gates and the yards are huge. There was a basket of toys and picnic tables which was fantastic. My 12 year old dog loved sniffing everything and my brothers 1.5 year old dog ran and played fetch. It was great! The owner was there and was kind enough to show us the boarding facility. They even do dog events which is cool. We will certainly be back!

I have a four-year-old German Shepherd that is high energy and loves to run! This is the perfect spot for my dog to stretch out her legs without having to worry about any dog park drama! The spot is fully fenced in which gives me a sense of security I didn’t know I needed. This SniffSpot is well-kept and has poop bag stations for any unloading your dog may do…doo 😂 although I went by myself with my dog, there are picnic tables if you decide to bring your family to play or benches to sit on! This SniffSpot also provides some dog toys (I brought my own because my dog is obsessed with her tennis ball and tennis ball launcher). I was pleasantly surprised to see water and water bowls provided! Again, I came prepared but now I know the next time I come! I went around dusk and the sunset was absolutely breathtaking! I had a wonderful experience and I will surely be back!

My dog had a blast here! We spent most of our time exploring the woods, and he loved all of the interesting smells. It was really peaceful. I was happy I wore waterproof boots as there was a little creek and some muddy spots. We did see and hear the 2 resident dogs when we first arrived and as we left since the invisible fence line runs up against the dirt road, but they stayed closer to the house. I also saw a fox run across the field as we were getting ready to leave, so just be aware of the potential to see wildlife (not surprising since it’s a rural property). We had a great visit, and I look forward to going back.

This spot is perfect! There are two separate gated areas that provide plenty of space for your dog(s) to get their zoomies out. There is a gate that connects both areas that you can leave open to make one giant yard! The security of the gates put me at ease, as there was no way the dogs could get out of the gated area. Specifically where you enter the yard it is double gated. Both of my dogs had such a good time just running circles around each other. They were exhausted 15 minutes into our reservation. The owners are so friendly and make you feel more than welcomed at their property. It is evident that they take care of their property as it is well groomed and clean! 100/10 would recommend!!

It was a bit of a challenge to find the dirt road (go past the house, down the hill, then pay close attention to your righthand side. If you hit the next house, you've gone too far), but my monsters LOVED it. We'll definitely be back.
I didn't see the hiking areas there appear to be photos for but the place has A LOT of foliage, so it could've just grown over a bit. There's way more than enough space without leaving the immediate area a bit further out from the tractor shed but I'm eager to explore more, once we can get out there a bit earlier and things cool down a bit. I have a very energetic girl (mostly Husky/German Shepherd mix) who learned an unfortunate amount of bad manners at a daycare, mostly around getting overwhelmed with too many dogs to say hi to all at once. She's in training to unlearn as much of it as we can but I can't take her to dog parks. This place is big enough that I'm eager to bring along a friend's dog or two as we reteach her how to listen to pup friends' cues. We're in DC but this is absolutely worth the schlep out.

My babies LOVED the area. It is pretty, spacious, and full of places to explore. It isn't riddled with poop which is awesome. The only recommendation I have is for the owners to mark the entrance to the gravel road. To those who will make use of this property at a later date:
-The house is on the right hand (passenger) side. You will continue on that road (down a small hill) for approx 10-15 seconds before the entrance to the gravel/dirt road appears on your right hand side. Drive down that gravel/dirt road and the tractor shed will be on your left.
Other than the unmarked entrance, I have no other recommendations. The place is peaceful, beautiful, and will serve its intended purpose. My babies were asleep well before we got home. They had a blast.

This spot was very quiet and peaceful. I wasn't sure where the owner's property ends so I was a little worried I would go too far. We did see the horse (behind a two-board horse fence, and a deep chasm from an old stream) my dog was a little too interested in the horse, so I had to leash up. There was also a very calm doberman in the horse paddock. Didn't see any other wildlife or domesticated animals. Easy to find and park.
