With our two fully fenced areas in the back separated by a gate this is the ideal place for new friendships as you can meet through the fence and then open the gate to play together when you’re ready. We have no farm animals ourselves but our neighbors do so this is another great way to temperament test your dog if you’re considering the farm life. We have a tortoise that lives on the side of the house which is blocked by the black gate. We have chairs and a bird feeder to relax by, multiple hoses to cool off the pups with water from our well. Fully fenced with chain link and with cattle panels in back. Very small dogs may be able to get out front gate so middle section has been modified so that our 5 pound dog cannot escape so it’s best for tiny pups. North Star Ranch Private Dog Park In Archer

Hello, We would like to welcome our dog friends to our private fully fenced wooded dog park we named The North Star Ranch. The North Star is positioned right over our entrance, and you might see it if you stay at the ranch late. Please bring your own water, snacks, poo bags. Also we have no trash collection, so please take your waste home with you. This is what we do as well. Consider a visit to our ranch a visit to nature that has been fenced in for your dogs’ convenience. And as in all Florida woods, there are some safety concerns you need to be aware of before your reservation. There are more or less visible stumps and vines all over the ranch. There are also some prickly cacti, buckthorn bushes and brambles. Tree logs and trunks have been arranged in some areas as edging for trails. The ranch is a work in progress and we are very slowly cutting prickly plants back to where they aren’t in dogs’ faces, but it’s taking us a while. Long pants and closed toed shoes are very much recommended. We also suggest tick spray if you’re worried about them. We find that in winter time they are rare. Mosquito cream is available during summer months at the gate. We recommend you use it. There is a 20 liter canister of water for dogs available at the picnic table along with a black rubber bowl. There is a back gate at the ranch and we don’t suggest venturing out of, as the back of the property is NOT fenced, and trails are grown over. Please stay in the fenced-in area only for your safety! We hope you and your dog enjoy lots of sniffing while you’re either strolling along or sitting down in one of our picnic areas. There is some agility equipment available at your discretion. Please use it wisely and look out for your pet’s safety first. Wilderness warning! ⚠️ Snakes have been spotted at the ranch several times. Our dogs run through the ranch daily, so wildlife is used to human and canine presence. This was their home before we enclosed it, so we respect their presence and move around them if we spot them. To this date we haven’t had any negative experience with the wildlife, and we surely want to see you stay safe as well. Keep your eyes open if you veer off the main paths, and have some treats in your pocket to help call your dog back to you in case of a snake sighting. The sightings definitely drop off in the colder months. We hope you enjoy our ranch as much us we do! Our dogs absolutely love it and we lovingly nicknamed this place our “sanity ranch”. Enjoy!

Twin Oaks Ranch & Pool

The place is big and open and makes pulling in an RV extremely easy! 16 acres divided into two separate pastures. One pasture has friendly cows in it that you and your fur babies are welcome to interact with. The other pasture is fenced as well but no animals in it. There is a garden area with couch, chairs, and table that you are welcome to sit in and enjoy the shade the 100 year old live oak tree provides. There is a lighted gazebo with table and chairs. I keep water bowls outside. One near the RV and another in the pool area. You may need to use one of the many hoses found around the property to fill those bowls with water. New 15x30 salt water pool, I will have doggy life vests available but in case I don’t have one that fits your baby right I do suggest you bring your own. The pool has a large sun shelf that you and pups can lay/sit in and not have to swim. Bring you a mixed drink and enjoy some private pool time! Inside the enclosed porch you will find the standup wash station. Professional wash station with everything you need to wash your fur babies and dry them. Please be sure to add this option in the add-ons section prior to checkout. I live on the property so if you ever need anything before or while you are here just message me on the app or call me at the number provided in the automated welcome message. My dogs will be inside entertained so you shouldn’t hear them barking. I really hope you enjoy this place as much as I do. To ensure everyone’s safety please be sure to arrive and leave on time so you don’t run into another guest and their reservation. Unless requested, I generally don’t meet my guests as I don’t know their fur babies aggression type. There is a trampoline if your pet has a wild side, ours do, as well as a tire and rope for chewing or swinging. If your dogs need a friend, they can make one here also. Restrooms can be accessed by host. No fertilizers, pesticides used in the yard or home. Our dog that lives on property takes flea medication monthly.

Park inside or outside the fenced yard. Nice shade tree to sit under while watching your fur baby play and run. I provide a chair or two and a table. Wooded along the back side and the pups love running along the fence line looking for wildlife, lizards, squirrels and the like. There is a hose and clean dish for water and a container to place your doggie waste bags into. I can leave some toys or bring your own. During hot summer days a baby pool is provided for any pups that like water. Very quiet and serene location on a hobby farm. You may walk over and pet the farm animals provided the dogs are leashed when doing so. Carrots are the only food allowed to be fed to the horses and goats if you wish to bring some. There is a dirt area that the pups can enjoy digging and laying in the cool dirt. If you want to bathe your pup while at the park, please notify me and with a minimum booking of one and half hours you may wash your pup for no additional charge. You need to bring pup shampoo but I will provide towels for drying them off and lines to secure them while bathing them. It is recommended you don’t bathe them if outside temperatures are less than 78 as otherwise it can be too chilly for the pup as there is no hot water. The water comes from a well and is tepid with exception of during hot summers then initially the water can be pretty hot and needs to run a bit before cooling down to being tepid.
