Opportunity Woods Private Dog Park In Ridgeland

Fully Fenced
5 acres

Opportunity Woods offers 5+ acres of hilly woods and long grass meadow surrounded by a secure 6 foot fence. Several benches are placed along the rustic trails, but of course, there is no need to stay on a trail! A water bowl can be found and filled from the human-potable water hydrant, where you will also find a wading pool for dog and human use in summer. There is a roofed picnic/shade shelter just up the hill from the hydrant. Take in the serene view of the surrounding area, and get a Birdseye view of Opportunity Farm, where sheep graze the nearby paddocks. Wire-wheel tables and chairs are available for relaxing, hanging out with your dog, having a picnic, a birthday party with your dog's pals or watching a dramatic rising or setting of a full moon. Have your dog invite their friends to join in the fun, or have a private play date just with you!

Casey's 2 Acre Unfenced Private Dog Park In Ladysmith

Unfenced
2 acres

Big yard surrounded by farm land. Got one side filled with a strip of brush and trees. Other three sides are farm land and road. Drive way splits the front and back, use to develope a distinguished boundary, parking out by the barn. Kennel and barn are respectfully off limits. I may occasionally have the pole barn open. It’s fine if your dog wanders in but be adamant they stay out to play. My dogs may be in the kennel. They will bark but will settle after awhile- you may request they remain in the house- I’m fine with that. It’s a neat spot I hope you could use as a tool for training or developing your dogs skills. Moderate traffic on the road. Train passes at a distance.

Frequently asked questions about Exeland dog parks

Are there dog parks in Exeland for reactive dogs?

Yes! Exeland has 21 private dog parks specifically designed for reactive, anxious, or dog-selective pets. Unlike public dog parks where unexpected encounters can trigger your reactive dog, Sniffspot offers completely private bookings. That means only you and your dogs will be there. We enforce 30-minute buffers between visits so you won't run into other park users when arriving or leaving. This makes Exeland Sniffspots perfect for reactive dogs who need safe off-leash exercise.

How many private dog parks are in Exeland?

Exeland has 21 private Sniffspot locations ranging from cozy backyard spaces to expansive properties spanning 250+ acres. You'll find dog fields, small dog parks, and dog water parks options, each offering complete privacy during your reserved time. Browse listings to compare sizes, amenities, fencing, and reviews from other Exeland dog owners.

Are Exeland dog parks friendly for all dog types?

Absolutely! Exeland Sniffspot locations work for every type of dog: puppies learning socialization, senior dogs needing gentle exercise, small dogs who feel safer away from large breeds, high-energy dogs requiring space to run, and yes, reactive or anxious dogs needing privacy. Because bookings are completely private, you can customize the experience to your dog's specific needs—whether that's careful puppy introductions or stress-free exercise for nervous dogs.

Will there be other dogs at Exeland dog parks?

No, that's what makes Sniffspot different from public dog parks! We only allow one booking at a time, and host dogs must be kept away during your visit. When you book a Exeland dog park, you have the entire space to yourself (plus any dog-owning friends you invite). This privacy is crucial for reactive dogs, puppies in training, or any dog who needs space from other animals.

What makes Exeland dog parks safe for anxious dogs?

Exeland Sniffspot locations provide controlled, predictable environments without the chaos of public dog parks. There are no aggressive dogs, no inattentive owners, and no unexpected encounters that could traumatize anxious or fearful dogs. All guests must have vaccinated dogs (or titers), and hosts maintain clean spaces. 93% of Sniffspot reviews are 5 stars, with many highlighting how safe their reactive or anxious dogs felt.

Can puppies use Exeland dog parks?

Absolutely! Exeland dog parks are ideal for puppy socialization because they provide controlled, distraction-free environments. Puppies can practice recall, build confidence, and explore without the overwhelming chaos of public dog parks. Just ensure your puppy has age-appropriate vaccinations before visiting any Exeland Sniffspot.

Are Exeland dog parks good for small dogs?

Yes! Many Exeland Sniffspot hosts mark their spaces as "small dog friendly," meaning they're appropriately sized for toy breeds and small dogs. Unlike public dog parks where small dogs risk being overwhelmed or injured by larger breeds, Exeland private bookings give your small dog the entire space to themselves. Look for secure fencing with minimal gaps and hosts who understand petite pup needs.

What are the requirements for Exeland dog parks?

All dogs must have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. Each Exeland host may have additional requirements listed on their booking page. Most welcome all breeds, sizes, and temperament levels, including reactive dogs who can't safely visit traditional public dog parks.
