We have a covered back porch with chairs and also chairs by the firepit. There is a hose with a filter to fill up the large, silver water bowl that’s near the spigot. Please bring your own poop bags and clean up after your dogs. Feel free to sit/relax wherever you’d like (including on the porch). Your dog is WELCOME to explore anywhere (hoophouse, garden beds, behind the shed/glasshouse). I have treat bags available as an add-on, with high-quality, nutritious treats (all-natural ingredients). We started Sniffspot because our 15.5 year old Chaco loves to sniff where all the doggies have been on walks, but he can no longer take long walks. So we decided to bring the sniffspots to him! Barkov Park (2 acres, fully fenced w/ pond) In Plainfield

**Availability: we only book 2 weeks out so if you don’t see any openings check back 2 weeks out from your desired day.** Enjoy a fully fenced spot (4 foot wire mesh livestock style fencing), run through mowed grass, tall natural meadow (we are “rewilding” a portion of our yard to native plants), two short wooded trails and access to a large pond with dock. Dogs are welcome to swim—bring towels and be prepared for some mud if it’s been raining or you have a pond monster doggy. Woods have wonderful smells, my dogs sometimes find delightful things to roll in. A hose is available for use on warm days. We do have chickens on site and ask you not allow your dog to harass them as you enter and leave (chickens are in a separate fenced area and in a coop/run). My dogs will be in the house—some barking may happen on your arrival but they will not be loose. This is the backyard of our home, on the south side of Carmel. The driveway is narrow, so you are welcome to turn around (drive in the grass if needed) and pull back out - it’s hard to back out for sure. Please park to the far left of the garage in front of the trash cans. We have a mini goldendoodle who you may see in the windows. We also have two cats that may also be visible in the windows. We have 2 houses with yards at the address. Simply follow the driveway past the yards to the Spot behind. When you see the white barn, you’re there! Feel free to roam and play. Off leash is fine as long as your friend has good recall. Our dogs have their own fenced yards up at the houses. Our property borders a riding stable on one side, so you may see horses and riders. On the other side of the property is a shooting range (about a mile away) so if your pooch is gun shy be aware you could hear shots.
