I arrived for the first time with my 100+lb. Labrador Retriever "Mensajero" this week. The Oasis was the perfect place for him too run, swim, dock jumping, and be free too roam around the large fenced in yard/acres. The host responds in a timely manner and informs every detail of what guests can and can not use. The lake was beautiful and I loved looking out at the Trees turning magnifigant fall colors which made the perfect fall portrait. There is no bathroom.. Which was ok for me but could be important to others... The town is in the process of building a WaWa near by... So there will be one close by at some point. Although Mensajero was to busy to rest, there are a couple elevated dog cots. Also available were toys, water dish, clean-up materials, seating for us humans, and more. Mensajero and I will positively visit again, and again. It was very peaceful and relaxing to me... A great place to detach from my busy schedule for awhile and to have that special bonding time with my big boy. I am so thankful to the host for offering such an oasis.

Such a lovely spot! My city dogs loved the expansive grass to run on, the lake to explore, all the smells! It was blissfully quiet with not a soul to be found. Thank you for a lovely respite for my pups.

My husband & I visited with our 2 pups. We traveled about ~25 minutes to get to this spot. We rented the area for 2 hours. The girls had a blast! The owner’s listing was very informative beforehand & she even sent a message an hour before arrival with some additional details. The land is securely fenced in and well maintained. There is ample seating and tables, but we brought our own camping chairs and blanket for our picnic. There were 2 elevated pets beds outside for use (our oldest appreciated that!). The owner also provided a water bowl, access to water, and a waste area w/ tools if needed. We chose to bring our own water bowl & water. We did utilize the provided trash can for poop pickups. Our girls had so much fun running free and sniffing all the new smells. They also enjoyed romping around in the lake with the fishies. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would come back again! Highly recommend this listing to others in the area!

My dog Remy had a wonderful time running around! He loved the lake and the beach. The yard is well kept and clean and having a shady sitting area, water bowls and a hose was very welcome on a hot day. Perfect break for a water dog from the city! Thank you!

This spot was awesome. My dog LOVED swimming in the lake, and it was great being comfortable to let him off leash for once while he swims somewhere. I did have to use our dog ramp to block off the steps up to the upper porch, he kept wanting to go up there (so sorry about that).

This was an excellent 1st outing. My pup is pooped. She was so happy to run around and explore. I had no fear of her escaping. There was fresh water & a few toys to fiddle with. She ran around so much I had trouble getting a good pic! We will be returning soon!

Had a great time, thank you! There are some more foresty areas of the property with a lot of trees and bushes, and also it is a large property, and since my dog's recall is not great I do keep him on a leash here. It is a fantastic place, and my dog loves lounging around at the edge of the lake.

FAQ about our Glenolden dog fields

Are dog fields safe?
If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, distracted dog owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private space for just you and doggy friends you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). Especially for training, privacy is ideal. Contrary to public dog parks, all Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog for off leash exercise or outdoor training. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars, while public dog parks often do not even have verified reviews. All payment is done securely online by credit card in a few simple clicks.

You can even check the park amenities chart for amenities such as indoor training facilities, agility field, synthetic turf, exercise balls or field parking availability in advance. If inclement weather is an issue or poor field conditions, you can reschedule your visit up to 2 hours in advance.

No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend.
