Rural Meadows & Forested Dog Park 5 miles outside of Rogue River

Unfenced
5 acres

We own 40 beautiful acres that back up to BLM government forest land up the mountain. You can enjoy a smaller lower meadow that has meadow grass with a picnic table, and an in ground burn pit with seating or choose a slightly larger more rustic meadow that offers a nice open space that's another great spot for dogs to be free and enjoy being dogs! Either meadow is great for playing fetch, where you can throw frisbees, balls, or other toys. It's a great training ground, bring your training items or it's a nice place to just hang out together, like day camping. Make a day out of it and use an available propane BBQ to cook up some hot dogs or burgers (bring your own food) while you enjoy hanging with your fur babies. If you feel like hiking up rough mountain terrain, you can, if that's your thing. We have several picnic tables, and BBQ's, as well as hoses for water (April through September), and a year round porta potty. We also have a large dog cage option if needed, (let us know). We look forward to hosting you at your Dog fun space in the country! All Water Service is only available April through September annually, so please know that other months the water spickets are Winterized, due to freezing pipe protection. You can bring your own dog water dish and if there is no freezing, you can use one of 3 water spickets to fill. Please be sure to turn it off if no water comes out - so our well doesn't run dry when it thaws. Thank you! Winter months it's best to just bring your own water and dish.

*** Happy 2025!! *** This year marks the 3rd year I have been open, and it has been such an amazing experience. I have loved seeing every one of the dogs and meeting all of you owners! I was able to add a few improvements this year which I hoped helped in the areas it was needed. I still have a long list to fulfill and as always, I am open to suggestions, what is needed, what is not needed! Again, I am always open to and appreciate feedback. Thank you ALL for making such a great thing even better by your participation and enjoying the space that we feel blessed to be able to offer. * Just a reminder that it is always flea and tick season. We do not treat the pastures with any spray so be mindful about using whatever treatment your vet recommends. *I am repairing part of the pasture that is on my side of the property, this is going to cause me to need the far far back pasture for the use of my horses more often. If you see them in the far back field, just consider that area closed. I do try and move them over off of it for most of the week. 11/1/2025 Updates. Hot/Cold wash on hold. We are going into the WET season, I will try and have towels out but always suggest bringing some. Consider weather appropriate attire. The barn offers coverage, but it can still be windy and cold in there as well. We added more granite to safely pull all the way in and park. ** PLEASE DO NOT TURN AROUND IN THE YARD OR THE PASTURE ** it will start to get too wet to pull all the way in off the granite areas and vehicles will get stuck. And this tears up the pasture, yard area. I am trying to come up with shaded areas in the far far back pasture. That may take more planning and time. But it is on the list. **** June 2026 **** I will be closing on THURSDAYS through the summer. This is for a couple reasons. I need a day to move livestock over to graze, I think we had more weeds this year because I didn’t put the animals over there as often last year (busy is good but I have to maintain the pastures and keep cycling them around) This will add more “sniff” opportunities, fresh green things to roll in and possibly eat .. horse, alpaca and sheep poo is very enticing but will cause no harm except a big ewwwww! *** If you see the park closed, you can always message me and I can try to make arrangements if possible, that may not always be the case depending on my work schedule or where I am at during that time *** This year marks the 3rd year I have been open, and it has been such an amazing experience. We will water the backyard area between the shop and barn but nothing beyond that. Please remember to alert us for any hazards you may see so we can fix and continue to improve this space. *** THIS IS A NO SMOKING PROPERTY *** NO PEOPLE FOOD trash in the small poop bins please. This will only attract other critters, skunks, racoons, digger squirrels. This ads the potential for a can to get knocked over while dogs are loose and we don’t want to risk your dog in to getting in to something that would cause them to get sick. There is a larger can outside the parking gate for those items. THANK YOU We always love to hear ideas, ways to improve, etc

Grace Dog Park 0.5 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Myrtle Creek

Fully Fenced
0.5 acres

This spot is under NEW construction but still nice. We have provided power for phone charging. free pet snacks, an outhouse. Lots of fun and new things coming. In the fall we will be planting grass and putting down sod. for now the park is alot of dirt. We have divided the park for our residence. we have a Heeler and 2 Frenchies. We will do our best to keep our doggies inside. Please be patient were trying to make this a new and better experience. First-time guests receive a $5 discount with the coupon code "TRYTHESPOT26". Conveniently located less than one mile off Interstate-5 at exit 103. This exit features a gas station, Starbucks, Grocery Outlet, Tesla charging stations, McDonald’s, TractorI Supply (dog toys!), a donut shop, Dollar Tree, and more. This approximately 0.5-acre park is fully fenced with brand new 5’ tall non-climb wire fencing. There are two gates for access: a walk-through gate if you choose to park on the wide gravel shoulder along the road, and a drive-through gate which allows you to bring your vehicle inside the park onto a large gravel parking area to unload your furry friends. Inside the park you will find a gently sloped dirt field with some nice flat areas also. There is a 12'x14' covered shelter to keep you out of the rain or sun. We have a real, vintage fire hydrant for your dog’s “enjoyment”. There are several play structures for the pups: a 3-tiered platform with ramps, dog jumps, a balance beam, and a long bench-like platform. Dogs only on the play features please - not for humans to climb on. There are also multiple resin benches around the park for your enjoyment. In the summer a small wading pool is available for you to use for cooling of the pups-always monitor your dogs or children if using the wading pool. Some rock wall terraces about 2’ to 3’ tall can be used for sitting, and for your larger breed dogs to jump up and down on. There are Adirondack chairs and a large wooden picnic table for the humans as well as the dogs (our Frenchies love to jump up on top and take in the view). A water hydrant provides fresh water from our local municipal water source, Tri City Water, and you will find water pails for every size of dog. Nearby is a mailbox with doo doo bags, hand sanitizer, wet wipes, and paper towels. You will also find two wooden crates: one filled with an assortment of toys, and the other provides a nice stick library for your pooch to choose from. Please note: both gates open inwards into the park. Seven or eight months out of the year you will find green grass (and weeds), in the summer months it will be dry dormant grass. The park is always kept mowed (except for fire season) and there will be no tall grass or weedy areas. We do not spray any herbicides or pesticides of any kind inside the park or along the fence lines. There are some neighboring small dogs along the back line that will say hello now and then, We respect your privacy while using the park, and even though we would love to come over and play with every dog visitor and say hello to their humans, we will only meet you by specific request. Generally, the park is available to book during daylight hours, but there is some flexibility for your special requests. If you choose to park your vehicle inside the park, please open the gate slowly so that it doesn’t swing against the post too quickly. Both gates have combination locks on them. USE THE TOP LINE ON THE LOCKS WITH THE RED MARKS for the code. The current code will be provided upon scheduling your visit. This is a non-smoking park. Alcoholic beverages and drug use are also not allowed in the park. Please do not play loud music in the park. If you are ever unsatisfied with your visit for any reason, we will gladly contact Sniffspot and request a refund. We appreciate your visits and are happy to share this space with you and your dogs. If you have questions about your booking or visit, please call 541-530-3812 Thank you for choosing the Grace Park Sniffspot! The park is under construction, so please be patient , and we will have it put back together shortly.

Private dog park

5(9)

Water - hose

Water - sprinkler

Fertilizer-free

Small dog friendly

We had a good time. The meadow was great! We didn’t hike because I couldn’t... more

Considering the Oregon weather, it’s not muddy and has a lot of grass that kept my dogs cleaner than my own backyard! Very happy with our visit, and my first experience using Sniffspot!

55This was such a great experience for my pup and I! There is one part of the fence where the neighbors dog is slightly visible and can be heard. My pup is pretty shy around other dogs but if you have a very reactive dog this could be a slight problem. However, it seemed like there could be no possible way they could actually see each other besides the tiny gaps in the fencing. There is a small little patch that seems to have eroded (especially with the rain that’s been coming) under the fence, facing the neighbors, where a small enough pup could potentially get under. My pup is a medium sized 45lb girl so she was fine but again, not sure about small dogs. S’more had the best time running around freely playing fetch with her ball and there was plenty of room for her to zoom around. We absolutely loved this experience and will definitely be coming back!

55Grass was green, well kept and soft!! Minimal to no mud at all which is excellent! Tons of space for our large dogs to explore and run. Seating for humans, toys for dogs (balls/Chuck-its etc), Water available as always, more bags, treats stocked in the container. Water available :) Nice privacy fence in and out of the property with a handle/lever so dogs cannot make a fast break. Very strong privacy fencing around property, blocking view of the street, owners backyard/property and neighbors. Occasionally you’ll hear barking from dogs in the neighborhood across the street, or people walking by on the sidewalk, but no real interactions/distractions. Very very safe, secure & private. Completely worry free!! By far our favorite sniffspot! We’ve come here 10+ times and each time has been great.

55Audra is a wonderful host, and her spot is Teddy's favorite in town. The space is clean, well kept, and the 6ft + solid wooden fence makes him feel safe. It's the perfect environment with a generous flat open area and strand of trees to sniff! Also, Audra has been a wonderful person to work with! We're grateful that she's made her spot available for us!

Frequently asked questions about Grants Pass dog parks

What amenities do private dog parks in Grants Pass offer that public parks don't?

Grants Pass private dog parks offer amenities you'll never find at public facilities: swimming pools for water-loving dogs, agility equipment for training, climate-controlled indoor spaces for year-round use, hiking trails on private property, and secure fencing customized for different dog sizes. Hosts provide poop bags, water stations, toys, and even dog wash stations. Orange Dog Acres is especially known for exceptional amenities. Every Grants Pass listing shows exactly what's included—no surprises.

Are there fully fenced private dog parks in Grants Pass?

Yes! Most of Grants Pass's 78 Sniffspot locations are fully fenced. Use the "fully fenced" filter to find secure enclosures with detailed fencing specs: height (4ft, 6ft, 8ft+), material (wood, chain-link, vinyl), and gap information. This is crucial for escape artists, puppies learning boundaries, or reactive dogs who need contained space. Grants Pass listings show fencing photos so you can verify security before booking.

How clean are private dog parks in Grants Pass compared to public ones?

Significantly cleaner. Public dog parks in Grants Pass are maintained by overworked city staff and often littered with waste from dozens of dogs daily. Sniffspot hosts in Grants Pass maintain their own spaces and take pride in cleanliness since it directly affects their reviews and bookings. Many Grants Pass hosts provide fresh poop bags, empty trash regularly, and sanitize water stations. Plus, with only one booking at a time, waste accumulation is minimal. Check reviews to see cleanliness ratings.

What types of dog parks can I find in Grants Pass?

Grants Pass has 78 diverse options: fully fenced dog parks for specific training activities, small dog parks for different environments, and dog fields for varied experiences. Want a backyard for simple off-leash time? We've got it. Need acres of trails for hiking? Check. Looking for water access or agility obstacles? Available. Browse by park type to see what matches your dog's interests, then filter by location within Grants Pass to find convenient options.

Can I book Grants Pass dog parks on short notice?

Usually yes! Many Grants Pass Sniffspot locations offer same-day or next-day availability, and most bookings can be made instantly without waiting for host approval. Unlike public dog parks that might be crowded during peak times, Grants Pass private parks let you reserve exactly when you need them—early morning before work, midday breaks, or evening exercise. Check individual listings for real-time availability and booking policies.

Do Grants Pass dog parks have water access?

Many do! Filter Grants Pass's 78 locations by amenities to find dog parks with swimming pools, natural ponds, creeks, or beach access. Water features are perfect for Grants Pass's hot summer days or for dogs who love to swim. Each listing specifies water type and depth, plus whether it's safe for swimming or just wading. Some Grants Pass hosts provide life vests or shallow kiddie pools for water-nervous dogs.

Are there indoor dog parks in Grants Pass?

Yes! Grants Pass has climate-controlled indoor options perfect for extreme weather, rainy days, or year-round exercise. Indoor Grants Pass locations typically feature rubberized flooring (easier on joints), artificial turf, or padded surfaces. They're especially popular for puppy training, senior dogs needing gentle surfaces, or reactive dogs benefiting from enclosed environments. Filter by "indoor" to see Grants Pass's covered and climate-controlled options.

What's the best time to visit dog parks in Grants Pass?

With Sniffspot, any time works since bookings are private! Unlike public dog parks that are crowded during peak hours (early mornings, evenings, weekends), you don't have to worry about timing in Grants Pass. Book whenever fits your schedule—midday when public parks are empty, dawn for cool weather, or late evening for convenience. Many Grants Pass locations have lighting for after-dark visits. The flexibility is one of the biggest advantages over public parks.
