Hello! We can now offer private parking in our driveway! Our property is located on a steep, one lane, dead-end winding road. You will end up in our driveway. Please park in front of the Sniffspot sign located on the left garage door. The arrow will lead you down some stone steps to a metal gate. Please use caution when walking down the steps, they can be muddy and slippery from the fallen wet leaves. Our spot is mostly naturalized, hilly, muddy, and pretty rugged so please wear appropriate shoes and watch your step. We hope to have you as a guest soon! 😊

Fun Fetch Spot with Covered Patio

Private, Fully Fenced Yard in quiet cul-de-sac community. Great space for medium & small dogs, but big dogs have fun here too! The yard is a mix of grass, gravel, cedar chips and a covered patio. Doggie bags, garbage can & garden hose provided. We also have a few tennis balls to share. The fence has no gaps or holes. My little guy only needs 4" to go exploring, so it's kept very tight. And 6ft tall on all sides, for the bigger guys. I bought this yard [& house] for my chiweenie Zoey during the pandemic and have since added Chipin Max to the pack. They love their little kingdom and I love relaxing on the patio watching them. We think you and your dog(s) will too. For your privacy, we'll be away for your visit. There are neighbors, but this is a pretty quiet community. There are neighborhood dogs, but not any adjacent or that bother us. Penty of parking in the driveway or in front of the house on the street.

Mookie's Magic Meadows

Hello I am Mookie, a Golden Doodle who loves to play ball and my Human is Grace. She got me this place with a long yard, perfect for playing with a chuck it! I begged for a pug and she let me have Frankie. We are happy to share our yards which have different areas for different Dog needs. Human needs can be taken care of too. We are relatively new to Sniffspot and will be adding new features as we go. Our pictures show how much we have changed since we opened the very snowy end of January. Frankie and I will not be coming out to visit your dogs, but once you leave we will enjoy learning about them on our scent hunt. We believe this will create a lot of interest and fun for us and for your special family members too. A little info about my place, I have safe space to unload and load the doggos. Important to close the gate as you enter and exit the property. Everywhere is fenced. It is 2 acres total, the area that you will be playing in is a very nice long field with a small pool which gets changed between guests, and a larger one that My human adds water to between guests. it looks dirty, however, it is from the sand box and dirt hills that my human made for the dogs to play in. It is too large for her to clean after each guest. There is a water hose with a shower head that you can use for play and clean up as well. Added attraction, MOLES and we love sniffing after them. Be watchful of holes that my human missed filling between guests, she tries very hard to find them, but Frankie is a digger! This is a place for fun , everything is not perfect , but the yard is a lot of fun for Frankie and also for me! We love to explore and sometimes we see deer here and other wild animals! UPDATE: All fences are secure. IF for some reason your dog slips out the farm gate entrance to the sniff spot, the entire property is fenced, and your dog will not get out. There is a shade canopy which will protect from the rain and some chairs to relax in. You may encounter holes because dogs love to dig in the soft turf and the hill of dirt, please let me know if you find some that my human and I have not gotten filled between visits and she will fix that! With so many trees, there will be branches down. I find that the dogs love to pick through those sticks. I try to keep on top of the really big ones, but if you see any let my human know. PLEASE NOTE: If your ball or other toys go over the fence, they now belong to my neighbor! PLEASE You must not go over the fence to get them!! I have other balls and will be happy for you to use them while here, if they go over, I can deal with him later! Thank you for your consideration of my neighbors. This is our second spot. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU GO TO THE RIGHT SPOT. Sauvie Island Farm #2 ‘shady acres’ is a fully fenced area in the back of our farm, cool and shady for these summer days. Plenty of sniffs, eagles, rabbits, deer, and other wildlife. Great views. Private. Some farm machinery and active farm fields will be visible. It is accessed by driving through the main gate to the house, and then following the signs slowly to the back pasture. It does not require 4WD. Hiking shoes or hiking boots are best here. Let us know if you have any trouble.

You will drive down the main residence address. The gate will be open. You can drive into the arena and close the gate, or if you dont want your dog playing near your car you can park outside of it. This is sand. Fencing not suitable for small toy breeds.

Let your dogs play then enjoy your own activities nearby. Our area is busy and parking is tricky. Please let us know ahead of time if you need dedicated parking for mobility concerns. We will try to be sure a spot is clear for you. You can park in the driveway or in the grass. Big trucks come through the alley so staying off the alley pavement is necessary.

It is fully 1 ace private open, combination with trees shade area, that is in Portland. My spot is very not far by the freeway, easily accessible and has private entrance. Beautiful secluded 40 acre piece of vacant forested land, with a creek that winds thru the length of the property. There is a well maintained gravel hiking road the stretches the length of the property and is approx a 3/4 of a mile long and crosses the Creek. There are Hiking trails run along both sides of the gravel road, with several additional hiking trails that cross and run along the creek and meander thru the woods (bring your hiking shoes :).

We live on 5 acres about 1 mile from Camp Bonneville. The Sniffspot is a 2 acre pasture with a fenced seasonal pond in the middle. Pasture is fenced with 4 foot field fence with electric wire at the top (not charged). Front fence borders on 68th St. Plenty of room to run and explore! Let's keep the pasture nice, please discourage digging and pick up after dog. My Border Collie and Mini Aussie will find your leavings (it's a large space, I understand things get missed, it helps to carry poo bags to minimize backtracking). For human exercise... 6 laps around perimeter fence is approx. 1 mile, 6 laps around pond fence is approx. 1/4 mile. If you're coming from Portland, the bridges and 4th Plain traffic can be challenging!

Please note: the creek is not fenced at both ends. Our field is pesticide-free and treated with organic diatomaceous earth in early spring and late fall to sanitize and keep it free of pests. The creekside can be muddy during winter, but most of the property—especially the upper fields—remains dry year-round. A 10’x 10’ sand filled “Pup Dig Box” for those pups who just have a need to dig. A “Tug of War”spring loaded grab bar for pups who just like a really good tug of war. Multiple pup fresh water dispensers, with bowls for them. Multiple Doggie Poop Depots with poop bag dispensers for your convenience. We want to give you an easy opportunity to pick up and deposit your pups 🐶 poop. Comprehensive Obstacle Course. There are multiple Toy stations with a large variety of toys to select from (If you have any unused toys, please consider donating them for our pup guest to enjoy.) This year and next we have a number of things that we will developing to add to what makes us a Dog Disney Land. The Dog Dock Diving Ramp is now half complete and we are told that the National Grand Champion who can jump 45 feet will be visiting us. The picnic area and parking area has been expanded to accommodate an increase in the number of Birthday parties, pup groups, and family gatherings, all of which are such a delight for us to see. We have noticed an up tic of young children that are now accompanying their pup and parents, so we have started the development of a play area for their enjoyment. Down the road and going across the bridge to the urban agility course under development, you can look down and see a land ramp down to a little shallow play area for pups to safely acclimate to playing in water Continued development of our assortment of main trails and the smaller loop trails have been moving forward and provide an excellent alternative to the water park area during our monsoon season. Sit in the woodsy A-frame hut, out of the sun or rain while your pups explores the 1/3 acre area. Sit at the picnic table and share lunch together. Need to get out some energy? Run your dog through all the agility obstacles! A Saw-Dust Toilet Outhouse is available for your convenience. See pictures. It’s there incase you need it. We have a perfect little slice of freedom for your pupper! Our property is fully-fenced, so let your dog go ham! As a working hobby farm we are constantly working on the property, but we will always be respectful and give you privacy. If you or your dog wants to say hello or has any questions about the animals/property, we are here, just give a wave or a holler. Please make sure all dogs and people visiting are respectful of the farm animals. We have goats, sheep, chickens, and turkeys fenced in along the dog area. We have a roaming farm cat. We have bee hives on property but away from the dog area. We do have a Rough Collie puppy on site. He is indoors but is 99% interested in running around if your dog would like a companion.
