Our space features separate fully fenced front and back yards & inground pool area allowing flexibility for different play styles. 🐾 The property backs up to acres of scenic land and offers peaceful views and beautiful sunsets from the backyard — a favorite among our guests. 🌅 💦 Inground Pool Swimming WITH your Pup(s) is available as an optional add-on during pool season. Please see the Extras section for cost & details. 🐾 Included with Your Visit: We provide a variety of shared outdoor play items for your use, including balls, frisbees, throwers, bubbles, waste bags, water access, and shaded rest areas. 5 acres of reclaimed soybean field, that we fenced in for an additional pasture for our horses. When we fenced, we decided to use no-climb fence so we could have foster dogs explore off-leash. There are 5 gates in the fence, of which only the gate closest to the creek is not padlocked. Depending on the time of year, the prairie grasses and flowers are between ankle-high to knee-high. We do have a bench in the back of the pasture (which is normally in the shade of the trees), and the horse run-in is pretty useful as a rain shelter if needed. Feel free to let your doggo dig til their heart's content, and theres plenty of branches to chew on. ****We cannot stress enough the importance of leashinc your dog *before* they get out of the car, and you have positive control of the leash all the way until you get in the fence. If your dog doesn't get a painful zap from the horse fence, the horses will protect themselves and it won't end well**** There is a creek to cross between the parking area (our driveway) and the pasture, which is normally ankle-high, so we recommend either water shoes or muck boots to cross. Its roughly a 200-250ft walk from the driveway to the back pasture, and you're bound to see our lazy freeloading horses (fenced) and hear our dogs barking (also fenced). Needless to say, leashing your dog(s) from the car until the gate is closed, is required.

Great area to take your pups ! There is no fence but as long as the listen decent they have all the room in the world to run . Because of its size I will try to host more than one dog at a time . There is a lake to swim and almost fully wooded. Thanks again for taking the time .

The trails are maintained with our mower, so no or minimal brush on them, making them easy to navigate. They are also color coded marked for ease of sense of direction. These woods are ‘working’ woods, as we harvest fallen trees to use for heat, so it is NOT Metro Park pristine! The trails are dirt, of course, and will be muddy- according to the weather conditions… However…. There always seems to be trails that maintain their drained dryness more than others. Our trails cover the entire perimeter of the property! They weave in and out among themselves! Quite a fun adventure! Pictured are wildlife- however- there is absolutely no guarantee you will see any. We have NO domestic deer like most suburbs do, so there may be NO sightings- just hoof prints. You have access to warm hose water during the cooler/ cold months. You are permitted to smoke and bring a cooler. If bringing kids please let me know. I will try to plant a feather or something for them to ‘find’ - You will pick up a sheet upon arrival, and parking is on site.
