Welcome to our spacious backyard retreat for dogs! Our property features a large, open yard with plenty of room for your pup to run, explore, sniff, and play freely. The yard also includes areas with trees and small wooded spots, giving dogs lots of interesting smells and natural surroundings to enjoy. Just beyond the fenced area, there is a small creek that many dogs find exciting. If your dog enjoys water, there is a small gate that allows access to the creek area while still keeping the main play space safely enclosed. This is a peaceful spot where your dog can stretch their legs, explore nature, and enjoy a safe private space to play.

The BarkYARD Yard 1

The BarkYARD is located at Homedog Resort & Daycare. This off-leash play area is fully turfed and surrounded by a 6' privacy fence. The area offers multiple entrances and exits, waste starions, seating areas with shade, lighting, and is a BYOB park (no glass). The BarkYARD was designed with guests like you in mind and offers a safe, peaceful, and secure location to exercise your dog. Your dog is our Homie!

Beautiful spot with lots of wide open spaces for big runs and fun things to sniff. Lots of toys provided, as well as a kiddy pool with fresh water changed daily to keep your pups cool in the summer. I will not put on the kiddy pool on days when it will be less than 60 degrees during your visit unless specifically requested, which you are welcome to do. Look for the big rock with the address number on it, come all the way up the driveway, park near the basketball hoop, then bring the dog(s) through the gate between the barn and the house. Please note one section of the yard has chickens. They are well protected in a sturdy coop; your dog(s) won’t be able to get to them. But if you are worried about their reactivity, that section of the yard is in the back, and it will start off with the gate closed, your dog won’t see them. But if you’re not worried about it or unsure, you’re welcome to open the gate to that portion of the yard, the chickens will still be secured.
