Welcome to Kiba’s Backyard Oasis, a private, fully fenced backyard designed for safe, relaxed, off-leash play. This is a calm, clean space where pups can run, sniff, explore, swim, or just lounge and enjoy their own little retreat. We’re dog lovers and share our home with Kiba, our Shiba Inu. He will always be safely secured inside the main house during Sniffspot visits, so your dog(s) has the yard completely to themselves. The yard features a pool and an outdoor shower for easy rinsing after playtime. Puppy shampoo and towels are available upon request to make cleanup simple and stress-free. Self-service hose with sprayer and pup pool available should you want to fill it up (only halfway please) and towels available. While water features aren’t an extra cost, please do not leave hose running to flood the yard, and be sure water is turned off before you leave so as not to waste water. Rules: Hot tub is not for Sniffspot use, dogs should be kept off cover. Absolutely no digging or destruction of grass. Please pick up after your pet - bags provided. No smoking while on property. ** Closed April 9th, 20th and 30th for lawn care from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm ** This 5 acre private, fully fenced Sniffspot offers a peaceful and secure environment with plenty of room to run, sniff, play in the pond and explore. The property is quiet and private. It is fully fenced & very secure which is perfect for reactive, anxious, or escape-prone dogs. We have a GSP who is an escape artist, and we've made sure it's safe for her. There are tons of oak trees + natural shade which makes the property cooler and more comfortable with the Florida Sun. Our dogs love the property so much we wanted to share it with others. There is a pond on the property where dogs can swim and enjoy the natural setting. There is a fountain and fish in the pond (primarily small Blue Gill and Catfish). However, we don't allow fishing for the safety of the pets (hooks, etc.). We have never seen any gators on the property. They would have to climb the 6 foot fence to get in. Great for multi-dog families. There is enough room for everyone to run free! The property is set back a little from the road. It feels very peaceful. Indoor restroom access available. Pool/lanai use available as an extra. Out of respect for our neighbors and for the property, we have decided to only host dog visits or dog birthday parties with 5 humans or less in attendance. If you are bringing more than one vehicle please let us know. It is rare to find fire ants on the property. Depending on the time of year, the water level and number of Lilly pads (and other vegetation) in the pond changes. The pond water is lowest December-February. A pond filtration system was installed in Feb 2026 and will be completely operational by the end of March 2026. The filtration system helps kill harmful bacteria.

Large Fully Fenced Yard with Amenities

Fully fenced yard with short grass that is landscaped each week. Patio in the yard with a table, chairs, and umbrella. We also have playsets for small children. There is a cooler with water bottles that can also be used to fill the water bowl available for the dogs. We have a kiddie pool for pups as well as a hose if needed. There are towels available for drying off - please drape those over a chair if used. Bug spray, hand sanitizer, sunscreen, and dog treats are available in a basket on the table. There are also doggy bags located in a small dispenser on one of the white posts where you can also hang your leash(es). We ask that you dispose of your waste in the large black trashcan on the side of the house outside the gate when you are leaving. We do have free range chickens and 2 ducks that you may see roaming around, but they are friendly, remain outside the fence, and will not bother you.

A large ledge for romping around for those pups that are a little unsure! The pool is heated in winter and chilled in the summer months. There's also a fenced in play area and complimentary off-street parking! If there's a time that you don't see available, please contact me personally, and I may be able to accommodate you, especially if you are a returning customer. Please remember that I am on Clearwater Beach, and traffic can be backed up depending on your timing, so give yourself some extra time. For safety reasons with my open Seawall I do not allow children under 16 in or around the pool area. This is strictly a service for dogs to come and swim and enjoy the pool.
