Rent safe and private dog fields hosted by locals in Hildebran, North Carolina

Silent H Acres is almost an acre fenced spot for your dog to go sniffing, running, fetching, and discovering. There are toys to play with (frisbees, tug rope, tennis balls, etc) and sticks to fetch. The grass ranges from 2” mowed, to 4” natural, up to about 12+ inches. A smattering of trees and two sitting areas for you - the gray Adirondack chairs are a bit too heavy to move, but feel free to move the red ones anywhere you would like. ***We will be adding a couple of agility exercise areas for your dog in the next few days. Toward the front of the field, I have mowed a curvy type of track in case you want to work on guided leash training. For you, we will keep a track around the perimeter of the fence mowed so you can use it for a walking track. PLEASE NOTE, the electric fence is DISCONNECTED. Every spot is very unique which is the fun part of Sniffspot. We want visitors to have clear expectations before their first visit; this is why we provide so much detail in the description. Please feel free to reach out with any additional questions, so we can ensure you have the best visit possible. Parking: Please park in the gravel driveway, not the concrete driveway. Do not park in the grass as it becomes damaged over time. If you arrive early, feel free to hang out on the swing next to the gravel driveway. Chain Link Gate Entrance: Walk down the gravel driveway to access the chain link gate entrance. Next to the man gate, there are water canteens, water bowl, dog toys, dog towels, bug spray, white bucket for trash, and dog treats majority of the time. We do our best to keep the water canteens at the entrance full with water. The only water hose to refill water canteens or rinse your dog off is at the house. There is a water hose on a reel at the front and back of the house. At the entrance, we have a solar light which only lights up the entrance. If you are comfortable being on the property past sunset, head lamps and flashlights can be provided. We will leave the outside house lights on which provides light in the back yard but not the whole property. Also, if you turn your car headlights on, the lights point directly at the field providing some light. Nature: 3 sides of the property run parallel to a creek and woods, so you might see critters (i.e. turtles, snakes, deer, raccoons, birds, crawdads, ants, etc.). Closed toe shoes are a good idea to wear. In the wooded section, there are wood chips, so they easily get caught in flip flops. Open Field: There is a large open field when you first walk through the man gate. In the field, there is a metal glider, two metal chairs, two swing chairs, and table. There is a dome climber play center for kids and a trampoline. Dogs and kids are welcome to jump on the trampoline. (Note: There is no longer a safety net around the trampoline.) The open field holds water after a good rain. We put straw down to help prevent mud. Woods: Towards the back of the property behind the house, there is 2.3 acres of open space with plenty of shade from the mature trees with two hammocks and a fire pit. If the field is wet, we suggest hanging out behind the house in the woods. The ground is always more dry. House: Our house is located on the property within the fenced in area. During visits, we always stay indoors with our dogs with the blinds closed to give guests their privacy. If we happen to arrive from work or errands during a visit, we park at the end of the driveway and walk through the driveway gate straight to the house. We try to message our guests ahead of time if we might arrive during visiting hours. If your dog is reactive to strangers, we certainly appreciate a message stating that, so we can plan better. Creek/Kiddie Pool: To the right of the large open field, there is another man gate that provides access to a creek. The creek is not fenced in but is on our property. The creek has a small sandy beach for digging, two lounging chairs, and a small table. Our dogs swim in the creek almost every day. We keep a long orange leash at the creek gate in case your dog wants to enjoy the creek but has selective listening skills. The leash is long enough for the dog to get in the creek while the owner stands on the bank. (Note: The previous owners buried their trash for years on the creek bed. We are in the process of cleaning it up. The section that has trash is barricaded off with black netting, so dogs can't access the area with glass, metal, etc.) We understand some people don't want their dogs swimming in the creek. We have a kiddie pool, 30 gal black plastic stock tank, and splash pad available during warmer months. The water hose is on a hose reel at the back of the house. Feel free to fill it up with water for your dogs to cool off. Neighbors: We have neighbors that have indoor dogs. Our fences do not touch at all. However, when their dogs are outside in their fenced in back yard, they can see visitors at the main entrance. The neighbor's dogs will bark out of excitement when they see visitors. If you walk back further on the property, they can't see you and won't bark. If your dogs are reactive to the sight or sound of other dogs, this spot might not be the best fit for your dogs. Lastly, we have a neighbor across the creek and through the woods with a rooster. The rooster can't be seen but can be heard at times.

Hi there! Lake Dayz for Dogz offers a fully fenced front yard as well as 1 acre total of roaming land with beach access to the lake as well as a dock to jump off of! We will also provide life jackets for dogs if requested. For the dogs not to comfortable with the lake we have a kiddie pool and a hose than can be set up for use if you want! We have towels if needed just let me know as well! Lake Dayz for Dogz will become your dogs new favorite spot!

24 acres on country road fenced in. Partially wooded with trails or wide open in the horse pastures. Mountain View’s and farm animals/ wild life abound. Owner willing to set up farm animal interaction if set up in advance and dog is leashed at introduction ( for companionship not chasing) property is farm animal rescue sanctuary with lots of friendly animals outside of fenced dog play area

**The pool is open for the 2024 season!** Welcome! We have a fun property your dogs will love! We have a 2 acre property, which includes approximately a half acre fenced area, a 1 acre unfenced area, and a separately fenced inground pool area. Only dogs are allowed in the swimming pool unless you are actively helping/playing with your dog. Two creeks outline our property and dogs are welcome anywhere on the property. We tend to keep the grass in the back of the property a bit longer to support the bees, but it also makes for lots more sniffing for the pups! If you're using the unfenced portion of the yard, dogs must be on leash. We have dogs of our own, but we will keep them secure in the house when you're using the property so you'll have the whole yard and pool to yourself. Captain's Retreat at Bear Creek located off Highway 64 in Mocksville! 4.5 acres of fully fenced (woven mesh wire and post/rail 5.5ft to 6ft high) with trails, woods, field, and plenty of room to run and explore! Open the front gate and drive into the secure parking area. ***CLOSE AND LATCH THE GATE BEHIND YOU BEFORE GETTING YOUR DOGS OUT OF THE CAR!*** Walk through gate into the space from the secure parking area. This area has wooded trails as well as cleared areas. Densely wooded areas and thickets all around. TICK PREVENTION IS A MUST! There are no pesticides or herbicides used here. Only natural horticulture vingear for spot weed control. This area is located beside Bear Creek and when the creek is high or after a good rain IT WILL BE MUDDY on the right side of the property! Dry creekbed located across the back of the property. **The Creek is NOT accessible from the fenced property** -Water hose on site for use. Dog shower/bath area to the right of the shed with dog wash hose attached, shampoo, and wash shammy. Or you may bring your own bath supplies! Feel free to give your dog a shower/bath! ***Just added dog pool*** For use at no extra charge! Fill up/use if you'd like! (It's been stored for the fall/winter...but if you would like to use it...please let me know at time of booking) -Dog water bowl, dog brush, toys, treats, human and dog tick spray provided. All located in large deck box inside the gate. -Bring doggy towels in case of mud or bathing! -Porch swing and seating areas with a shed deck, gas grill, picnic table and hammock at the top of the property. -Chair/table area at the bottom of rock trail. At the end of the cleared field is a 2 single seat swing set and hammocks by the bridge. **Stick Library** -**NEW** we have expanded the field area to fence in the hill! Almost 9 acres but not fully fenced. Perfect for dogs that can be recalled easily. There’s a nice pond for dogs who love swimming. Catch and release fishing available as well

2 acres are fully fenced with a variety of landscapes - short grass, concrete pad, and wooded. We also have a wooded trail that is not fenced, that can be walked off leash.

We have a huge open field to play with your furry friend and about 4 acres of woods and creek to hike and explore as well.

Farmhouse look. Quite, cozy, comfortable, & private property! No fences, however guests can anchor their own zip cords in ground to allow pets to move freely in one of our 3 open areas in the back yard. Near wooded area, but because it’s an open neighborhood, guest will have the visuals and sounds of a calm Nighborhood. Friendly neighbors & open parking in driveway as well as along the street. Home is Located near a great walking route for dogs along a traveled side road when guests want to park in yard and walk pets with a scenery near by! Guests are responsible for their own clean ups, items, valuables, vehicles, and any Damages done to property or other while utilizing the home host “venue”. 704.606.7097

Our sniff spot is equipped with a fenced in field, agility course (beginner and advanced friendly), large unfenced open field, as well as large jumps for competition dogs. While this is a sniffy location for your canine companion, please respect that we are in fact a dog training facility as well! Please stay in the designated areas away from our private kennels and training buildings. Poop scoops and water bowls are included on site, please pick up after your dogs so we can keep our facility clean for others! Designated area: agility course, fenced in field, open field past large jumps

Connect with nature as your pup explores our gorgeous pasture of around 20 acres. Beautiful mountain and lake views. Seating area coming soon. Round training area also available. This area is off the paved road and will require 4x4 after heavy rains.

We own the back 9 aces of land down to the big creek run along beside a small creek with a nice nature trail with wild life sightings and a horse boarding farm across the creek

Large 3+ acre maintained prairie backyard. Lots of room to run and play to tire your pups out! Space to sit under our shaded oak and watch your pups run. Shaded woods with carved out walking paths in the rear of the property. We have 2 cats who will stay out of your way, but we can do our best to bring them inside if requested. Neighbors (to the front of property, not visible from yard) have a fenced in yard with 3 dogs, as well we are next to a neighborhood - other dogs may be heard from the yard. We are a small family of 3 with no dogs of our own. We are very happy to welcome you and your fur babies to our slice of paradise!
