This spot was developed as a starting pen for beagles. Brush piles, food plots, and secure cover were established for rabbits. Elevated observation decks (use at your own risk) were built for dog owners to observe their dog working a running rabbit. This spot is designed for beagle use but is multi use for all breeds of dogs. This spot is located in the "country" with easy parking and access. There are very few distractions which allows you the opportunity to enjoy a peaceful experience on mowed trails with plenty of area to investigate, and plenty of scents to stimulate your dogs sniffer.

There are some residuals from the tornado; still some sticks to pick up and there is un-even terrain from the grooves of heavy equipment. We are working towards improvement and continued recovery. Welcome to Canada Corners! Home to all things dog sports! We have a big ultra dog friendly yard, pool, and indoor K9 gym that is well stocked with training supplies and dog sports equipment. We back up to a hay field, apple orchard, and a wetlands and pond that is full of lovely wildlife and birds. We also have a herd of goats that stay in their separate pasture. The goat area is off limits to dogs except on approval, however people are welcome to say hi to the goats and may feed them pre-approved snacks. The yard is not a perfectly manicured lawn; it is left somewhat natural so you can expect leaves, longer grass (nothing too crazy), weeds, and some uneven footing. Digging is welcome in this yard so watch out for doggy dig sites! The pool has just been cleaned from winter. There is a filter as well as a small chlorine tab. Shock and other pool chemicals used as needed but as minimally as possible to stay super pet friendly. The pool yard can be closed off from the main yard if needed. The pool is about 2’ deep with an inflatable ramp for smaller dogs to exit safely. The pool sets right next to the deck allowing dogs to jump into the pool easily. There are pool noodles to fill the gap between the deck and pool edge for safety. The deck is composite and does heat up in the sun but umbrellas and pop ups are available to keep it shady. And a mister for especially hot days! There are agility obstacles and training equipment on site - we have jumps, weaves, small tunnel, old school flyball box and hurdles, platforms, klimb table, carpet mill, fitpaws equipment, and a SwiftPaws kit. We also have equipment for nosework, shed hunt, obedience, and a full rally set of signs with cones. There are loads of dog toys and treats available including a Treat n Train machine. There is a large tire ball pit - this is located in the pool yard so that it can be closed off if needed. Everything in the yard and three season porch is available for use during your visit. There is a small library of training resources and some games for people including a badminton set. Drinks, refreshments, and snacks are available in the mini fridge and snack basket! Please see the welcome binder for a full inventory on where everything is located along with general housekeeping tips and training resources. Assistance with dog sport training is available (requires some coordination around schedules) and questions about the equipment are always welcome! Our welcome table has our full menu of services from dog grooming to training to pet portraits! This private dog park is also home to Canada Corners Pet Grooming. There is a dog wash inside.
