We have a half-acre of land in which your dog can roam. There are many trees they can walk and sniff under to keep shady. There's a nice long stretch of open yard so you can throw a ball. The pool is big but not very deep - swimmers rejoice in the summer! The pool is not fenced for those fearful of their dogs around water. Looking for a few nice respectful owners and dogs.

Shaggy’s Shack in Tempe has lots of grass for running, chasing balls, and doing the zoomies! It’s fully enclosed with a 5 to 6-foot block wall and more than 25 trees and bushes to explore. You can play fetch with tons of toys and there’s a designated digging spot, too. Or maybe you just want to cool off in a diving pool that’s professionally cleaned every Wednesday–even during Tempe’s cold months. Oh, and Shaggy’s Shack also has features shaded chairs for your human to relax as they watch you explore, play fetch, swim, and have a pawsitively good time. Shaggy’s Shack’s residents (and their humans) will be home but out of sight. The entire lot is just shy of a half-acre, and it’s conveniently located in Tempe. Many dogs live in the area, they may bark in greeting when they hear you. We offer many pawsome amenities at Shaggy’s Shack, including bags and a trash can for your nature calls and a disposable water dish with lots of fresh water (and water for your human, too). Clean towels for drying off after you’ve doggie-paddled in the pool are also provided. Of course, use of the pool is at your and your human’s own risk. The pool is chlorinated and not heated in the winter months. Your human may use the pool to get a closer look at your pawsome doggie paddling technique. While we provide towels for you, we ask that your human brings their own towels. There is no fence or gate around the pool, and we strongly encourage you to bring your own doggie life vest if you do decide to get your paws wet. Discounts are available for multiple dogs. Visit times can be extended if there is availability. Respecting Sniffspot’s 30-minute transition time between visit times is very important. So that no one gets hurt or gets into something that could be dangerous, glass, alcohol and smoking are prohibited. All pups need to be up-to-date on all vaccinations to keep our resident and visiting doggos healthy. Since Shaggy’s Shack Sniffspot is for dogs, please be mindful of your doggie to human ratio; kids are welcome but must be 100% supervised, especially around the ungated, unfenced pool. I feel like I have to newly brand our temporary back yard for you, our guests. This isn’t a fancy ass backyard with all the sweet little amenities. We have a beautiful large yard for your pup to run and a very functional pool THAT MAY HAVE LEAVES in it. If you have any doubts then please read the reviews. IF you have any issues please message me before leaving a negative or less than 5 star review so that I can fix the issue. I’m more than willing to accommodate and suggestions are always welcome. Please don’t expect a perfect backyard as explained in our description. :) Hello! This is our newly purchased home that we will be renovating but in the meantime our backyard is yours for you and your doggos! I may or may not be there working but you’re welcome to use our yard and pool whether I’m there or not for the time being. Once construction is done we will be expecting to stop offering our yard sometime after 8/1/24. We do have small gaps in our front gate that small dogs may be able to escape, pics shown. Please keep that into consideration if you have smaller dogs. *** I will mention we have gotten some reviews with people upset on the presentation of our yard seeing wood with nails sticking out and dog feces being left behind. I do understand the concern and everything has since been cleaned and updated pics will be posted first thing 3/24/24. We do not have the most perfect pristine show backyard that you may be expecting but there is a perfectly good pool for you and the doggo and chairs and plenty of room for the pups to run around. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS ABOUT OUR PROPERTY PLEASE EITHER ASK OR BRING IT UP TO US BEFORE, DURING OR AFTER YOUR VISIT. If there is anything you see that could be considered a hazard please message me so I can mitigate the issue immediately. I will accommodate best I possibly can under this new building time in our lives. We would love to have you but we also want you to feel safe and comfortable. FYI, my backyard is being rented out to people with dogs….I apologize if you come across dog poop. It has since been picked up, beware you may or may not see more. I walk my yard often, feel free to go to a regular dog park if this upsets you. :) We have an amazing open space and a pool should you or your dog want to go for a swim. The neighbors dog may or may not be out there but we are working on putting in privacy slats so they don’t bother barking too much. Dog enrichment games available, as an add on, with homemade liver treats (oats, eggs, chicken liver). The zone is a great setting for the find it game. Water for dogs and poop bags available. There is a sitting area and the zone is lit up at night.

Completely walled in for your pets safety and your peace of mind. Long patch of turf stretching the width of the whole yard, perfect for playing or relaxing. Giant shade tree to cool off, and hammock to enjoy the breeze through the leaves. At various times of the day, plenty of spots for sun bathing and relaxing. Covered patio with plush seating surrounding a propane fire table. Fountain for ambiance activated upon request. Dog waste bags and receptacle on site. Ample parking with RV driveway and entry to backyard directly through the RV gate. We have a hose and sprinkler available for use as well.

This spot is large enough for zoomies around the pool (in the Summer the deck - when dry - around the pool is too hot for extended contact between 9 AM till when the sun starts to set). Perfect for Reactive dogs needing to let off steam! The pool has easy entry/exit steps at the shallow end and a "ledge" for a rest break at the diving end (* Note; there are no handrails). If the dog is capable, they can also use this to jump out of the pool at that end. There is also a combination mulched/gravel area - so if your dog likes to roll on the ground when wet - there's also a hose to hose them off afterward. In the Summer the first water coming out of the hose will be scalding - please be careful! The surrounding 6+ foot high fence is block concrete, and all the gates have padlocks. There's a pooper-scooper and a bucket near the mulched area. There is a covered garbage can near the entrance. There's a large shade awning with comfy chairs for dog moms and dads. There will be fresh water available for dogs. There is one off-street parking spot available. *NOTE: Please be mindful that this pool is large and deep. If your dog is not a capable swimmer, nor a confident swimmer a well-fitting lifejacket is a must.

Fully fenced yard where your dogs can run, play, and swim! Clean toys/balls and water bowl provided for each guest as well as towels to dry pups off if they go in the pool. **Please keep dogs on leash until they are in the yard. I have been having a lot people let their dogs run freely from the car to the RV gate (sometimes the dogs have ran into neighbors yards, etc). This is NOT allowed. Please respect this rule as well as my neighbors who also have pets**

We are on a little over an acre. There are 2 sides to our yard and they are separated by a fence. One side has a private pool which you enter through the gates at the far end of our property. The other has grass and natural landscape, enter through the gates near our garage. Both can be enjoyed by you and your pet(s)! There are gates to keep the side yard and our personal patio above and near pool separate. Each available play area has a private gated entrance from our front drive. I am a professional pet photographer; if would like to have your dog professionally photographed, please send me a message for more details. My yard is free of any toxins; I use Epsom salt to keep the grass fresh. The grass is mowed and kept short, in fact, started to plant clover which is a natural nitrogen replenisher for the ground. At some point, there may be more clover than grass. :)

Large and fully fenced area that comfortably accommodates our greyhound’s needs, as well as our chihuahua’s needs. There is a large grassy area and also a tennis court area that works great for smoothing out dog’s nails. There are areas covered in small rocks, too. Since there are various terrains and it does get hot in the desert, we have dog boots (that are very breathable) and available to borrow, as well as dog visors. We have small, medium, and large boots to protect the paws. There are many seating arrangements, tables available, sun umbrellas, a water feature, and many areas with natural shade provided. There is one area in particular that makes one think that they are not in the desert, but rather in another part of Arizona that provides shade from pine trees. There are three enclosures that are visible and house two pygmy goats (joey and chandler), and there is a chicken coop with four chickens. You might see a rabbit or squirrel on occasion. Sometimes, the tortoise will emerge, too… from his enclosure. There are fruit trees on the premises if you’d like to take a lemon when in season. There will be a hose to use if needed. (You will want to run the water for a bit since the hose gets very heated in the summer). Parking is conveniently located near the gated entry. There will also be bags available if your dog relieves itself. We are sure our property will provide a peaceful retreat to enjoy with your canine friend.

While we love and welcome all guests, We do have our own fur baby, Sebastian, and this is HIS home. We ask that you please respect our home and please clean up after your baby. No breeds that shed!
