There is a cool and shaded pine forest with a carpet of pine needles your dog could run in and you can hang out in. Bring your chairs and enjoy the mountain scenery and have a picnic you want. If your dog poops on the trail, pick it up and toss it in the weeds. If your dog poops in the weeds, we don't care. You would need to bring all your own supplies. There is plenty of parking.
