Joanne's 100 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Vicksburg

Fully Fenced
100 acres

Has your dog become a couch potato? Bring it on out for some good conditioning. Recommended for hunting/sporting dogs and large dogs, we have 100+ acres fenced in with 10' tall fence. Owner will need to walk with their dog (off leash of course) since sight of your dog is limited. The property includes a creek that runs across the front of the property, crop fields (currently soybeans), wooded areas, wetland, and some gentle hills. You can walk the perimeter of the fence and down many trails. It takes me about 40 minutes to walk the front part of the perimeter I cover with my dogs. There is a pond but due to the heat, it is currently covered in algae. Your dog will have access to the creek for drinking, swimming, and playing in. There are a few plastic Adirondack chairs set out for resting. Depending on the time of day, you may hear and/or see my dogs and our rental house occupants dogs. There will be no other dogs inside the fenced area when you visit. This is also in a farming area, so you may hear livestock from neighboring farms. I cannot guarantee that your dog will be clean or stick-tight free when leaving but they will have fun and be tired. This is a great spot for conditioning your upland bird dog before hunting season. No shooting or hunting on our property.

Private dog park

Private 2-Acre Meadow & Mowed Nature Trails

Unfenced
2 acres

Give your dog a chance to slow down, sniff, explore, and enjoy a little country space! Our approximately 2-acre field features a winding mowed loop with two cross paths through the center, giving you several different ways to wander without simply walking back and forth. The field is intentionally kept natural, with tall grasses, wildflowers, young trees, bushes, raspberry patches, and other native plants surrounding the mowed trails. There are plenty of interesting smells and places to investigate, making this a fun spot for dogs who love sniffing and exploring. A lower/pit area with more mature trees is visible from the trails and adds to the secluded, natural feel of the property, although that area is not currently part of the maintained walking path. The property is not fenced, so dogs should remain leashed or on a long line unless they have reliable recall. Because this is a natural field, you may encounter the normal assortment of country residents and annoyances, including insects, ticks, wildlife, uneven ground, and seasonal plants. For your visit, you’ll have: * Two designated parking spaces at the end of the paved driveway * A dog waste bag station * A trash can for used bags * Clearly mowed paths through the field * Plenty of room for a peaceful sniffari away from busy parks This is a simple, natural space designed for dogs who don’t need playground equipment or fancy amenities. Just room to walk, sniff, decompress, and be a dog. Please clean up after your dog and help us keep the trails enjoyable for everyone.

Yoko's 12 Acres Quiet Meadow & 1 Acre Hidden Pond behind the Red Barn

Partially Fenced
12 acres

Where Dogs Run Free, and Humans Slow Down There are easier places to exercise a dog. But this is a place to exhale. Nestled among meadows, towering trees, and a spring-fed pond, this private retreat offers something increasingly rare: space. Space to run. Space to wander. Space to think. Space to do absolutely nothing. Dogs arrive and immediately understand. They sprint through the open fields, follow trails of scent through the grass, splash into the pond, and explore at their own pace. Humans usually take a little longer. They settle into the shade beneath the trees. Listen to the wind moving across the water. Watch clouds drift over the pond. And slowly remember what quiet feels like. We’ve intentionally left the land natural. No crowds. No traffic. No barking from neighboring dog parks. No pressure to hurry. Just open sky, green fields, cool water, and the freedom to enjoy them together. Some days bring bright sunshine and dragonflies skimming the pond. Other days bring dramatic summer clouds rolling across the horizon, turning the landscape into something that feels almost timeless. Every visit is a little different. But the feeling is usually the same. Your dog leaves tired. You leave lighter.

The Confidence Course

Fully Fenced
0.25 acres

Welcome to Our Hidden Gem Next to the B2B Trail! Our private, fully fenced dog park is the perfect place for your pup to run free, explore, and just be a dog. Conveniently located right off the B2B trail and across the street from Timber Town, this spot offers a unique mix of nature, enrichment, and fun. Upon arrival, you’ll find a designated parking spot and a peaceful trail that winds around the back of the property to the park entrance. Along the way, you’ll pass our duck enclosure and pond—feel free to stop and say hi! If you'd like to feed the ducks, they love shredded lettuce or diced cucumbers (please, no bread). At the end of the trail, you’ll find a double-gated entry with a separate area for leashing and unleashing your dog safely. Inside, your pup will have the freedom to explore about a quarter-acre of fenced-in space, featuring fun enrichment structures like a dog bridge and stacked hay bales for climbing, sniffing, and playing. This space is ideal for dogs who prefer a quiet environment without the stress of other dogs nearby. While our fence is 4 feet high and the area is smaller than some, it’s a great spot for dogs who just need a safe, fun place to burn off energy and enjoy nature. You're welcome to bring a friend and their dog too—just add them as an extra when you book. We can’t wait for you and your dog(s) to experience a relaxing and joyful visit. See you soon!

Frequently asked questions about Marshall dog parks

Are private dog parks better than public dog parks in Marshall?

Yes, private dog parks in Marshall eliminate the major risks of public facilities: unpredictable dog encounters, inattentive owners, disease transmission, and chaotic environments. With Sniffspot's 360 private locations in Marshall, you get complete privacy during your booking, professionally maintained spaces, and flexible scheduling. No more worrying about aggressive dogs or unsafe conditions. Joanne's 100 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Vicksburg and other highly-rated Marshall locations consistently receive 5-star reviews for safety and cleanliness.

Are Sniffspot dog parks in Marshall safe for all dog types?

Absolutely! Marshall Sniffspot locations welcome puppies learning socialization, senior dogs needing gentle exercise, small dogs who feel overwhelmed at public parks, high-energy dogs needing room to run, and reactive dogs requiring privacy. The completely private bookings mean each dog gets exactly the environment they need with no compromises. Whether your dog is friendly, selective, anxious, or anywhere in between, Marshall has 360 options to match their temperament.

When can puppies start visiting dog parks in Marshall?

Puppies can visit Marshall Sniffspot locations as soon as they have age-appropriate vaccinations (typically around 8-10 weeks with their first round of shots). Unlike public dog parks where you'd wait until puppies are fully vaccinated at 16+ weeks, Sniffspot's private bookings eliminate disease risk from unknown dogs. This early, safe socialization in Marshall helps prevent fear and reactivity issues later. Many Marshall trainers specifically use Sniffspot for puppy development.

How do I find private dog parks near me in Marshall?

Browse Marshall's 360 private dog parks on Sniffspot by entering your zip code or neighborhood. Filter by distance (within 5, 10, or 25 miles), then narrow by features: fully fenced, "fewer dogs seen/heard," specific amenities like fully fenced dog parks or small dog parks. Each Marshall listing shows photos, reviews, exact location, and instant availability. Joanne's 100 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Vicksburg is particularly popular among Marshall dog owners.

Are Marshall dog parks good for small dogs?

Yes! Many Marshall Sniffspot hosts specifically mark their spaces as "small dog friendly," meaning they're sized appropriately for toy breeds and small dogs. Unlike public dog parks where small dogs can be intimidated or injured by larger dogs, Marshall private bookings give your small dog the entire space. Filter for secure fencing with no gaps, smaller yard sizes, and hosts who cater to petite pups. Some Marshall dog park locations even have separate small dog areas.

What's the difference between Sniffspot and public dog parks in Marshall?

The biggest difference is privacy and control. Public dog parks in Marshall mean sharing space with unknown dogs and owners. You can't control who shows up or how they behave. Sniffspot's 360 Marshall locations give you private bookings where only your dogs are present. You choose the time, the space, and the environment. Plus, you get amenities like fully fenced dog parks, small dog parks, and maintained cleanliness that public parks can't guarantee.

Do Marshall dog parks allow senior dogs?

Yes! Marshall Sniffspot locations are excellent for senior dogs who need gentle exercise without the stress of public dog parks. Older dogs can explore at their own pace, rest when needed, and avoid being knocked over by rambunctious dogs. Look for Marshall spots with flat terrain, shaded areas, easy access, and smaller sizes if your senior has limited mobility. The privacy means your older dog can enjoy off-leash time safely and comfortably.

Can I rent a private dog park in Marshall by the hour?

Yes! All 360 Sniffspot locations in Marshall are available for hourly rental. Most bookings are 1-2 hours, though you can reserve longer if needed. Book instantly through the platform, arrive during your time slot, and have the entire space to yourself. Many Marshall dog owners rent weekly for consistent, safe exercise for their dogs.
