I have a fully fenced in yard. There is one gap, but we have covered it with cinder blocks. It is a 6 ft privacy fence, so you shouldn’t see the neighbors. One set of next door neighbors has a dog that is occasionally out. Please keep dogs on leash when outside of the yard. Thank you! Out in the yard there will be balls for your pup to play with, a water bowl, and a hose. We can also set up a tent we use for vendor events when it’s sunny or raining for shade/coverage. Just let us know in advance. There is also shade from a large tree in the yard. If you need a dog first aid kit, we will have one in the house along with things like water for humans, snacks for pups and humans, and a restroom for humans to use. If you need a towel for your pup, let us know, and we’ll be glad to give you a dog towel to use. We will bring things out to you. These are only available if we are home. Street parking is available at all times. You may park in the driveway, but please ask first in case one of us is going to have to leave (or coming back) while you are there.

We cannot wait to share our space with you! ABOUT THE SPACE The yard is fully fenced in. We have a 4ft wire fence around the property. The back fence is a 6ft privacy fence. The largest opening is 5in at the bottom of the fence. There are no shared fence lines, our yard is ideal for reactive or sensitive pups. 🎾 The space comes with dog toys, tennis balls, place cots, digging sand, and a short but smell-filled nature “trail”. Our yard is filled with squirrels and birds and your dog will love following their scents through the brush. The area is made up of short grass, overgrown brush along the fence lines, and sandy soil. 🌳 Perfect shady spot for the summer! We have many mature trees which provide great shade but there are also large grassy spots where you can get full sun. A table and chairs are provided in the shade, as well as a covered area. 💧Water for dogs is provided, as is a water bowl. Our house runs on a small well so we have to reserve water. (The well is enclosed and located far outside of the fenced area). To supplement with the small well, we have a water tank with fresh water. please use what you need and keep them hydrated! For safety, we do have security cameras located around the property. Our house is far back off of the road. When you enter the driveway, you will pass our neighbor who is located at the road. They have dogs that will might bark when you drive past them. They are fully enclosed in a privacy fence and cannot be seen from our yard but they can be heard if they’re barking. Otherwise you should not see or hear any domestic animals. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!

Our 2.5 acre park is a tranquil path through the woods with multiple path options and limitless nature to behold, accompanied by a soundtrack of birds and insects. The ample trails that cover the park are easy to traverse, and your dogs will be delighted exploring the endless smells in between those paths to sniff…and pee on. If you love to hike with your dog but wish they could be off leash to investigate the wonders of the woods so you can marvel at the variety of ferns and fungi, this is the place to let your dog run free without worrying about them getting lost. The trails and fencing are a continual work in progress, maintained and built over a decade and then some. We ask our own dogs to help decide where any new paths should go, and if there are any gaps in the perimeter fencing, we hope you and your dogs will do the same. Please be mindful of roots and rocks along the paths, the trail is more natural in some places than others. Get your birding app ready, put your running shoes on, bring your camera and binoculars--there is more to this park than joyous zoomies for your dog!
