Driving Instructions: When going up drive way stay to right. Continue towards barn. Look for red metal gate. Stop and park at red gate. Please do not drive past gate. Walk through gate. Go any direction from there. But... For most direct trail to creek walk to end of riding arena. On far side of arena there is a double gate. Trail is just past this gate. Follow this trail into woods. Creek is at bottom of hill. Once at creek multiple trails intersect near creek. There is also a trail on other side of creek that will weave back around. Trails are somewhat rugged. Watch for fallen debris from trees, ruts in ground caused by flooding, exposed roots are trip hazards. Watch your step.

My husband and I have a little peace of heaven here in the Shenandoah Valley! Our goal is to provide a space for all dogs to play, run and sniff away! I also came to understand that many rescue animals have trauma related behaviors and cannot integrate with other dogs. Our dogs are in a separate fenced area but because I feel this time is for you and your pup(s), I will put my pups in the house so they are not visible to you and your pups. A reactive dog himself, our rescue Reptar understands the value of private playtime in a safe space and invites you to enjoy his personal pup oasis! We welcome you and your dogs to enjoy our fully-fenced backyard with private lake access. We offer shade for our guests, both from the trees and a movable pop up tent. We also have a dog-kiddie pool for them to splash around in or rinse off after their dip in the lake. We provide outside toys, doggie waste bags, treats, towels and drinking water for you and our furry guests. We offer a 25 yard leash you can use when your dog is swimming if you are worried about their recall in the water. Swimming is at the discretion of the owner/booker, and we have no ability to control lake conditions. We even have an agility course for some extra fun!
