55It was so nice to play/train in a different environment and give my dog some off-leash romping time with no stress about her getting into trouble!
Terri was a welcoming host and kept the goats away from the fence during our visit, as I thought they might be too exciting for my dog. Chickens nearby provided a nice low-level distraction to work with, as did a couple leashed dogs that walked by on the road (it was a weekend morning so perhaps more passerbys than usual). As described, the pasture has some gopher holes - especially in the lower area - so we played fetch more cautiously than usual. Hope to visit again soon!Kara L.

55Terri was super accommodating of a last minute visit for me and my pup. She greeted us and showed me to the play area. There was a faucet for plenty of fresh water and quite a few toys that Zoe really enjoyed. There are some chickens in another fenced off area that you can see. One of them popped over the gate at one point, so if your dog has a really high prey drive, be mindful of that.
It was a really nice and relaxing (and very clean) play area and we will definitely come back!Meagan R.

55The fence was secure and the space was large enough for our dog to run freely, which she appreciated. There are chickens and goats on the property but the hostess said they could keep the goats away if our dog had a hard time with them. There were occasional people/cyclists on the road going to/from the nearby trailhead which was a good opportunity to practice our training. It was a beautiful spot, and we had a great time!Maggie R.

55Terri was so nice and accommodating! We honestly cannot thank her and her husband enough for opening up their property to us. We just moved here and the move has been tough on our 2 doggies. The space was great for them to roam and not a lot of noise from the trail near by. We’ll be back to let the dogs run and use the space as training as they have chickens and goats. Brittany G.

55Because my dog can be a handful on the trails, my dog sitter used this SniffSpot to exercise him. She said that she was able to run him enough to tire him out for the rest of the day. John B.

55Loved the space! Lots of room to run and roam. Not muddy today, but does have holes that you have to watch out for! We look forward to coming back with some friends. The neighbors farm animals were far away that my dog didn’t notice them, but we did hear dogs in the distance that caught our attention! Overall, great for my reactive dog.Kathy A.

55Nice large pasture with secure fencing and some trees. There were very few vehicles that passed by on the road while we were there. The grass is nice and green and the critter holes are not terrible. Our dogs had no issues navigating around or over them. Not muddy either. Dog waste bags, waste can and hand sanitizer were available at the entry gate. Parking for a couple of vehicles and a porta-potty adjacent.Craig P.

55Secure fencing, lots of space for sniffs and zooms, beautiful and quiet area - a fun and stress free spot! We did see a couple of dogs across the street briefly and I think the owner’s dogs were briefly visible from one corner of the spot, but I felt confident that none of them had access to the fence line so it wasn’t a big deal for my reactive dog.Emily P.

55Great place to bring 2 dogs. It’s a clean pasture with a secure fence, which runs along a two-lane road. One of my dogs found out it’s fun to chase cars as they drive by, at least she was safe to do it here. Amenities as advertised, lots of room to run fast and work on recall training. And no mud!Pam D.

55Our 3 pups had a wonderful time! Sunny out and amazed the field wasn’t muddy at all- even after the snow melt from this morning. Our pups ran and ran and explored and sniffed every tree I think! Thanks for the great experience Shannon S.

FAQ about our Monroe fully fenced dog parks
Are fully fenced dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. Human and animal safety is our #1 focus. Without a private option, many dog owners are relegated to using athletic fields or tennis courts for their dogs, which are not private or safe. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. And with fully fenced Sniffspot parks, you can get the safety of a fenced-in space for dogs, while still having plenty of space to run.

How do I know if a fully fenced dog park works for my dog?
Many people looking for fully fenced parks have dogs that are not good with voice control. Start by applying basic filters, such as fences height and distractions, to find a dog park that works for your dog. You can see attributes of fences such as height, gaps and fencing type to find the perfect fenced-in space for dogs. You can filter by size to make sure you have plenty of space, or a smaller space if you prefer a neighborhood park. You can browse on a map by park location to find one in your city or near your city. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our off-leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible near the space. Make sure to review the amenities of the spot to check features you want for your activity, such as fresh water, trail features such as soft trails or walking trails, or even water fountains. If you prefer wood chips, many of our parks have wood chips or indoor space if you prefer a beautiful park building.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot fully fenced dog park?
We require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not permit use by pregnant dogs and we do not permit dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules, such as staying within the designated off-leash areas. Each park location also has their own set of rules that guests need to follow, such as limiting excessive barking.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot fully fenced dog park at the same time as me?
