Come on over a run free on our little slice of heaven! This 2 acre hidden gem is nestled in the middle of town. Stroll along the creek, adventure through the trees or romp in the open field. This property is truly a doggo's paradise! Please park on the street in front of the gate. Stay safe, keep your fur baby leashed until both you and your dog(s) are through the gate. If you don't want a mess, stay away from the cattails as it is VERY muddy (if your dog enjoys a good mud bath, go for it!). Please pick up after yourselves and ENJOY!!!

Take a lovely walk in the woods with your dog, let them sniff and enjoy nature. Three acres of forest, fully fenced for your enjoyment. This is not the average suburban development -- this is more like hiking in the National Forest. Lots of squirrels to chase, sniffs to enjoy and hills to run up and down. You won't have any issues with dogs or people on adjacent properties! This property is surrounded by National Forest and unfenced/unused private property. In addition, you have another acre for agility, complete with jumps, tunnels, dog walk, a-frame, teeter, etc. All high end equipment. The running surface is flat & covered with wood chips. The course is changed every Monday morning. Course maps are in the box hanging on the entrance gate. The wood chips are all from local trees, so no worries about added chemicals, etc. Several seating areas are provided, along with a picnic table.

Also have a smaller enclosure that can be used for training, new dog intros, dog birthday parties. Please send us a message if you are interested in booking for longer than the typical 1 hour. You may see us working in our lavender fields while you are here. Visit our enchanted forest in the mountains! Update March 2026 - Trails are open! If there is snow, you’ll need a 4x4 vehicle for the roads and driveway. We have 15 acres of trails (2 miles of different trail loops) running through our property, including a narrow seasonal stream that runs in the spring. We use the trails for dog walking, hiking, and mountain biking. May-September we have tons of hummingbirds zipping through the property. The trails are considered intermediate: easy in parts, and intermediate in parts, with uneven Colorado rocky terrain. The trails wind up and down the side of a mountain and empty into the forest and the meadows. There are inclines and declines. This property is not for everyone - it’s very natural. The trails are in great condition and it beautiful, but there is a wild element to it similar to any park in the area. WINTER: We try to keep the trails available in the winter for snowy hikes - you'll need a 4x4 vehicle for roads and driveway. The sun can warm the snowy trails up quickly so we suggest bringing a towel for snowy days. The meadow has a couple of icy spots where the snow doesn’t melt as quickly, but you can easily walk around these areas on the trail. You are welcome to pet the horses but do not feed. Please do not allow your dogs to growl or charge the horses (even though they are behind fences). All the horses are calm and easy around dogs, which we need it to stay that way. We have a fully fenced area roughly 10 acres with mowed paths for walking. You are welcome to walk thru the field if desired. The horses have access to the field during non sniffspot hours so there will be delicious horse poop, some dogs will eat it and others not. Most dogs process horse poop very well and many vets will tell you it’s good for their gut. There are random balls and toys in the field for use, water is available and if we are home during your visit should the restroom be needed we will honor use of that. Most days there is a bin with free dog food and/or treat samples. You are welcome to bring agility or equipment and toys each visit if desired or practice nosework. We are also open to hosting groups, such as agility, nosework or trainers who need a large outdoor space that is fully fenced. Off street parking and can accommodate large vehicles. Small dogs are welcome, do note the fencing is graduated so depending on size of dog, some real tiny ones who are escape artists may not be the best fit.
