This is where you can grab some poop bags, toys, or request extras like agility equipment, kiddie pools, corn hole, BBQ grill etc. This area also lights up at night. 2. The Wilde Side with lots of paths to explore, a secret garden, native plants, hedges, multiple spots to sit, and a big open meadow. We are working making this area a monarch way station as well! 3. Our new area, Wolf Tree Meadow! Walk behind past the barn towards the hayfield and explore the stone compass circle. 55Carissa’s Sniffspot is a treat! We took our pup Beau and he loved exploring the field and trails. It was quite hot the day of our visit so we didn’t stay the full time and we didn’t make it to the brook as we got a bit confused and weren’t confident we were still on Carissa’s property. She does mention that she’s in the process of marking the trail which will make it even better. And I would also add, had we taken a screen shot of the map in her posting pictures that would have been helpful - neither myself or my husband had cell service up there so we weren’t able to pull it up on the property. We loved this spot and have already talked about coming back in the fall when the leaves start to change! Thanks Carissa!

55Such an awesome and beautiful experience. Carissa didn’t appear to be home but it was easy to find the open field and explore some of the forested area. I am not super educated about hunting laws, so I did keep blaze orange on my pups and kept them with-in my sight. It was fun running them through the agility equipment, too. I would def make a point to book again when in the area. The boys are still zonked.

My dogs had a great time sniffing and exploring. We will definitely check it out again. We saw one barn cat when we first pulled up but I don't think the dogs even noticed.

55This is a beautiful, quiet and safe property. We had a lot of fun. Big open spaces as well as a wooded area. Not a soul or animal in sight, perfect for my easily aroused dogs. Thank you Carissa.

Frequently asked questions about Norway dog parks

Are private dog parks better than public dog parks in Norway?

Yes, private dog parks in Norway eliminate the major risks of public facilities: unpredictable dog encounters, inattentive owners, disease transmission, and chaotic environments. With Sniffspot's 134 private locations in Norway, you get complete privacy during your booking, professionally maintained spaces, and flexible scheduling. No more worrying about aggressive dogs or unsafe conditions. Zuzu's Zoomie Acres at Wilde Kind Farm and other highly-rated Norway locations consistently receive 5-star reviews for safety and cleanliness.

Are Sniffspot dog parks in Norway safe for all dog types?

Absolutely! Norway Sniffspot locations welcome puppies learning socialization, senior dogs needing gentle exercise, small dogs who feel overwhelmed at public parks, high-energy dogs needing room to run, and reactive dogs requiring privacy. The completely private bookings mean each dog gets exactly the environment they need with no compromises. Whether your dog is friendly, selective, anxious, or anywhere in between, Norway has 134 options to match their temperament.

When can puppies start visiting dog parks in Norway?

Puppies can visit Norway Sniffspot locations as soon as they have age-appropriate vaccinations (typically around 8-10 weeks with their first round of shots). Unlike public dog parks where you'd wait until puppies are fully vaccinated at 16+ weeks, Sniffspot's private bookings eliminate disease risk from unknown dogs. This early, safe socialization in Norway helps prevent fear and reactivity issues later. Many Norway trainers specifically use Sniffspot for puppy development.

How do I find private dog parks near me in Norway?

Browse Norway's 134 private dog parks on Sniffspot by entering your zip code or neighborhood. Filter by distance (within 5, 10, or 25 miles), then narrow by features: fully fenced, "fewer dogs seen/heard," specific amenities like small dog parks or fully fenced dog parks. Each Norway listing shows photos, reviews, exact location, and instant availability. Zuzu's Zoomie Acres at Wilde Kind Farm is particularly popular among Norway dog owners.

Are Norway dog parks good for small dogs?

Yes! Many Norway Sniffspot hosts specifically mark their spaces as "small dog friendly," meaning they're sized appropriately for toy breeds and small dogs. Unlike public dog parks where small dogs can be intimidated or injured by larger dogs, Norway private bookings give your small dog the entire space. Filter for secure fencing with no gaps, smaller yard sizes, and hosts who cater to petite pups. Some Norway dog park locations even have separate small dog areas.

What's the difference between Sniffspot and public dog parks in Norway?

The biggest difference is privacy and control. Public dog parks in Norway mean sharing space with unknown dogs and owners. You can't control who shows up or how they behave. Sniffspot's 134 Norway locations give you private bookings where only your dogs are present. You choose the time, the space, and the environment. Plus, you get amenities like small dog parks, fully fenced dog parks, and maintained cleanliness that public parks can't guarantee.

Do Norway dog parks allow senior dogs?

Yes! Norway Sniffspot locations are excellent for senior dogs who need gentle exercise without the stress of public dog parks. Older dogs can explore at their own pace, rest when needed, and avoid being knocked over by rambunctious dogs. Look for Norway spots with flat terrain, shaded areas, easy access, and smaller sizes if your senior has limited mobility. The privacy means your older dog can enjoy off-leash time safely and comfortably.

Can I rent a private dog park in Norway by the hour?

Yes! All 134 Sniffspot locations in Norway are available for hourly rental. Most bookings are 1-2 hours, though you can reserve longer if needed. Book instantly through the platform, arrive during your time slot, and have the entire space to yourself. Many Norway dog owners rent weekly for consistent, safe exercise for their dogs.
