Sarah's 1000 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Cochrane

Hello! We are a working ranch west of Cochrane Alberta in the gorgeous foothills. Along with gorgeous scenery you will also enjoy endless space do you and your dog. Please be aware that it is very rural. There is tons of uneven terrain/fallen logs/gopher holes and that there is the possibility of wildlife encounters including bears/cougars. Please be fully prepared for this with appropriate hiking equipment. Please contact us directly to book so that we can suggest which part of the property would best suit you and your dogs needs.

Little Creek Private Park

****Note the price is charged in USD. ( $10 CAD or $8 USD) and you will be emailed exact directions to the farm upon booking ***** Located East of Black Diamond Alberta surrounded by farmland, We are welcoming furry friends and their amazing owners to enjoy our 5 acres private dog park. This fully fenced area contains a creek and hills for you to explore. We ask that bookings are kept private with additional dogs being private play dates. *****The map doesn’t show our exact location, we are just east of Black Diamond. See access instructions that are emailed to you once booked for exact location.****** It’s really important to us to keep the area clean and well looked after. So please don’t pick any flowers or trees, leave everything the way you found it and enjoy some time with nature and your dog! If you have any waste please take it with you. Note the price is charged in USD. ( $10 CAD or $8 USD) It is a US app and we are unable to change the currency at this time. Recommendations: -we recommend hiking shoes or decent footwear -tall socks or long pants are good to have in some areas -there is no path that can accommodate a stroller so we would recommend a hiking backpack for very small children *The hose to the park to spray off the dogs is on for the summer, it’s at the top of the hill south of the benches hanging on the fence. * * We are surrounded by farmland, so there could be cows, horses, chickens near the park depending on the time of year*

Rover Come Over - Water Meadow Side

***IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD*** We have two areas for use. Mountain View and Water Meadow..each is to be booked separately. Water Meadow is 2 acres of sheep-fenced area. There is a mostly dried-up dugout at the far end (water in spring and early summer). If your dog does not have great recall, and you don't want them in the dug-out area, you might want to use Mountain View. Mountain View is .9 acres of sheep-fenced area. ****I require that all dogs be vaccinated for Parvo and Distemper. Bring your own water and pick up after your dog. Parking is on the driveway, outside of the access gates, which are labeled. Please be sure to close the gates during use and after you leave.

Do something different with your dog. Get your dog’s mind and nose working. Bring your dog’s favourite tasty treats and get them to work for it, by hiding them in one of 100+ hiding spots. You can either fill all hiding spots or hide a few pieces or anything in between. (Make it easy by putting treats everywhere. Make it harder, only hide a handful.) You can repeat as many times as you want during your booking. Either ninja hide as your dog finds. Or work on your dog’s stay while you hide some more. Have two dogs? Have them go at the same time or split the time up and let each have a turn. (If the dog’s resource guard it would be best if they go at separate times.) Easy access and perfect views! My dogs love it here. With Spring weather brings muddy paws so just remember to bring a towel. The little stream is flowing and my dogs love it! Such a calm and relaxing environment. Definitely beats going to a public off leash and having to be on guard the whole time!
