It’s approximately a 1/2 mile long from the old green shop parking area to the end of the big top pasture. The very large grass pasture at the top of the hill is edged with wild brush (and a very old 4 foot page wire fence) on the outside perimeter (that some dogs will be able to get through). There are 2 smaller pastures at the bottom of the hill before the bush areas as well, and one side has a little bit of a pond/standing water on it. You could also see some wildlife on your walk. We hope you will consider us for your dogs exercise needs, and are looking forward to having you explore our private ranch pasture. 🐾 🐾

Park #2 gate is on the right hand side with its own Park# 2 sign. Pull up, open gate, drive in and close securely behind you before letting out your dogs. Fully fenced 3.5 acre private dog park. There is a small gap (8"at the most) under the entrance gate. This park is more rustic and best for MEDIUM SIZED and up dogs. There is a large field and forest paths to explore and a massive dirt pile for digging/climbing! Grass is not mowed often here so grass is longer. Please dress appropriately for the weather and terrain. Public gravel road does border the park on one side so please be careful of vehicles/traffic. Sheep and cattle will often be visible from spot as well along the west sides. Fence can be difficult to see at a distance so ensure your dog(s) know the boundaries. No children under 16 please.

Beautiful acreage, clean and lots of open space. I just really needed somewhere secluded and private with minimal distraction to work on a tandem leash for the first time with both dogs, this was perfect for that. I’ll likely book again soon for training purposes as one of my dogs is a working dog and comes with a lot of liability so a spaces like this are great for us. Only downside is the driveway to enter is a little rough and muddy and some of the grass is long enough to lose your dogs in for a brief second but otherwise loved it!

Really lovely spot! It was easy to navigate to, the sniffspot logo signs were super helpful. Janice went above and beyond providing garbages, long lines, bug spray etc. I was comfortable with the fencing, but my dogs have solid recall, I definitely wouldn’t rely on it. Can’t wait to go back (maybe after mosquito season though - haha)

This was such a delightful experience for my sister and me and especially our dogs! I signed up for this app specifically so we could go here and I am so glad we did! The long grass, the water to play in (probably dry sometimes but there was water today in some low areas), the trees - all the places to sniff and run and splash were all so great. The price is excellent, and Janice is a thorough, friendly and prompt communicator through the app. I also think it is so thoughtful and hospitable that she leaves bug spray and a long line and other supplies out for guests to use. Didn’t see any horses or people or dogs - and had lots of opportunity to practice recall in case some time when we are there, there are more distractions. As soon as I got home I signed up for a monthly membership to Old Yellers. Looking forward to coming back!

This is not a city walking path - it’s excellent for tromping through with some waterproof shoes. Dogs had a great time & as others have suggested - bring a towel for them! We enjoyed the space and the quiet. All fenced in aside from the front near the entrance (unless we missed a section somewhere).
